A very quiet and peaceful beach not too crowded overlooking the Long Island Sound towards Connecticut. Great place to watch the sunset

It's not as 'public' as the classification on maps wants to insinuate, you do have to be a resident to park here or else. Nice beach, though- great unobstructed view of the sound with white sand. Just be mindful of your feet, there are shell shards and rocks everywhere.

Beautiful beach, crystal clear waters, sand and sunset with great dining options nearby.

I automatically give 5 stars to any Beach that still allows you to bring your pets on, even on leash. So many beaches have cracked down on it throughout the island it was nice to be able to bring our dogs onto a beach and down by the water and have plenty of room that nobody was bothered. As a beach itself, it's extremely Rocky and may not be the best for a day spent lounging on the sand, but to spend some time on the beach to get out of the house, this is a good spot

Only residents with a permit can park here... or else get a $75 ticket. Small clean beach. I did not see a public pool or restrooms anywhere... it was in october.

Good beach. Lots of fish and peaceful. There's a good restaurant before the entrance.

Tranquil north fork beach to catch summer sunset on. The sand is a little bit rocky and I don’t believe there’s a lifeguard on duty if you opt to swim. But there’s plenty of parking and it’s not crowded.

It may be a public beach, but you need a town permit to park your vehicle there nice looking beach
