Kenny's Burger Joint - Frisco

I would give it 4.5 stars. The meat had great flavor and was cooked properly. The bun was very nice. We tried the onion rings. They're a little greasy, but it's a giant breaded piece of onion, so it's to be expected. The fries have that bumpy added coating on them. It is not something that I prefer, but some people like it. (Not criticism, just informational) But the fries were piping hot when they came to the table. The truffle dipping sauce is more garlic than truffle (garlic will always overpower truffle) not criticism just informational for my fellow truffle lovers. The staff was pleasant and service was very quick for a Saturday afternoon. Overall it was an enjoyable meal.

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had!!! The patty was the perfect thickness and was super juicy and oozing w cheese! Everything is customizable and the service was overly accommodating! Definitely get the sweet potato fries and order a 1/2 size of the onions rings- THEY ARE HUMUNGOOOOOO!! I got the Jucy Lucy- made w white American cheese!! And my hubby got the seasonal- Green Chili w Pepper Jack- had a bit of a kick to it!!! Needless to say- we will be back!!

Wanted to give this place a try since the reviews were so great. Let me tell y’all this place didn’t disappoint and is now one of my favorite places to go. The service was great and the food is great. The chips and queso were bomb! Southern fried chicken sandwich was huge and well worth any penny. My husband ordered the patty melt and he loved it, sorry I couldn’t get a picture he was hungry and couldn’t wait lol. Sweet potato fries are amazing here as well. This place is great and I highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious and hearty. Fresh ingredients and great ways to mix up your favorite burgers classics. Awesome backstory in incredible history. Loved all the movie quotes on the wall in the Cozy atmosphere. The staff was incredibly helpful and very nice.

Good vibe and good food here! Trendy little place and great food. Burgers were hearty. Service was quick and friendly. We did not try the El Jefe Grande' - 7LB burger not for the faint of heart! :) Check this place out if you are in the area.

I love the food, kid friendly menu, excellent service and great environment. The only reason I went with 4 stars was due to the lack of beer on tap. When I see full bar I expect more options. Will definitely come back.

In town for a corporate training summit and was looking for somewhere nearby to grab some lunch. Kenny's burger joint was only .3 miles from our corporate office so it made it an easy place to put a pick up order in so we could get back to work They are definitely known for their burgers and I will say their burgers looked amazing! They were super large and the individuals who ended up getting burgers in our party, said that they were really good. I opted for something lighter and went with the Asian salad and added grilled chicken (additional $5). The salad was delicious as it had nice big chunks of avocado, and mango as well. It also has some wonton strips and tomatoes. The dressing was really light and somewhat reminiscent of a peanut sauce dressing. Chicken was cooked perfectly and had some good seasoning to it.

Solid place. A good 3.5 stars. The chicken sando was a bit dry to me... service was 5/5... the Yelp waitlist is a bit useless... went on the waitlist BEFORE a party that was seated before me...

Holy cow... literally! This place serves up burgers so good they should come with a warning: May cause uncontrollable happy dancing and spontaneous mooing. My wife and I have eaten a lot of burgers in our time, but this? This might just be the GOAT (or should I say, the COWAT--"Cow of All Time"). The burgers were so juicy, I almost needed a snorkel. Every bite was a perfect balance of beefy brilliance, melty cheese, and toppings that made my taste buds throw a parade. And those truffle fries? Let's just say if loving them is wrong, I don't want to be right. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and kissed with just the right amount of truffle magic. If you're not already running here at full speed, I don't know what to tell you. Just don't sleep on this place--because great burgers like these are rare... but thankfully, they cook them medium-rare too.

Not only was the food great, but the service was also top tier. Our server was so attentive, and the food came out quickly as well. I also loved the diner vibes inside!

Maybe my favorite burger ever! I ordered the mushroom brie burger. Each component was amazing and worked together to create a classic burger that I have 0 complaints about. The truffle fries were also delicious and better than the Hopdoddy ones. The ambiance is fun and also gives that old school vibe. I'll be back whenever I'm in town!

Kenny's has been a consistently an amazing experience for years. Every single time we go, our food is perfect and the small hicups are always fixed promptly. Their fries are delicious and unique, battered and crispy and all their ingredients fresh, the burger is always well seasoned and cooked to perfection and the extra ingredients like Brie or blue cheese are superb. Love the casual ambiance and how their waiters pace the food with the right amount of tending. For the last decade at least, they have been our favorite burger place. Oh and It's always exciting to see that Jefe Grande countdown going up! :)

Super helpful and friendly waitress (Reagan) - she answered our questions about which burger to get and skillfully guided us to the one that we should order. We ordered the fried pickles for an appetizer and the pickles spears were big, crunchy and tasty - not soggy and small like other places. The bacon wrapped jalapeños were enormous! And so spicy lol. We ended up bringing most of these home with us. The burgers were BIG and very juicy - so much so that the Brie mushroom burger I ordered was almost impossible to pick up and eat without my hands being covered in food debris. (Small point is that I needed WAY more than the cloth napkin to clean my hands between mouthfuls - totally needed a lemon finger bowl ready - lol). So I caved and used a knife and fork to finish my burger (yes I am aware that this is probably a huge faux pas). Fries are crunchy and taste great (they are cooked in beef tallow - yum!) The kids burger/meal option is one of the best value I've seen in a while. The kids loved that they got to customize an ice cream sundae AND got to name it included in the meal price. They did have crayons but a sharp pencil would have made their handwriting more legible (they had agonized over their sundae name but the waitress understandably couldn't read their crayon chicken scratch).

The food is great and fresh. The customer service is great, fast, and friendly. I love their turkey burger and sweet potato fries. It's conveniently located. It's a very popular place. It has a nice environment for young and old.

I'm a big burger guy and even though this is a smaller chain, they have some very good burgers! This place has been on several lists of best burgers in Dallas and rightfully so! It's not the best, but definitely up there. Appetizers are really good and they have a pretty good variety. The ranch is homemade. The burgers have some extremely soft buns which I enjoyed. My only tips would be that they need to change up their French fries. There is t really anything special about them. They are just your classic cheap fries. They try to have some Parmesan fries, which aren't bad, they just need a different brand/type of fries. Burgers should never be pink in my opinion. So you may have to ask them to make sure they are well cooked. I also like that kids get free ice cream.

In my attempt to catch up on all my reviews I'm finally onto Kenny's. This is one of my top two burgers in all of DFW! I love their burgers! I have been here many times and always happy with the most fabulous piece of hamburger. My favorite is no longer on the menu but pictured was their hollandaise burger. It was the sauce plus egg and bacon and just heaven. You will find one you love. The onion rings are one of my favorites here too. Crispy and cooked perfect every time. I'd go with the onion rings over the fries but i usually get both at our table but go with the truffle fries as they are fantastic. The used to do a weekly rotating dessert but they stopped a few years ago but i miss it as it was always fantastic. You can still get a solid shake from them. A must try spot if you love burgers.

If this is not the best burger place in Dfw idk what is. I am very picky if it comes to burger, i do care about how things cooked or stacked or combined together. This brisket burger bacon combo wins big time!!! Incredible! I cant go to other places, if i am craving burger, also the truffle fries and sweet potatoes are soooo bomb! i have to come here. Service is super fast. Ambiance is cozy. I love love love Kenny's burger.

The best burger in North Texas!!!! This afternoon Kenny's was the first thing on my mind after church. It did not disappoint! Let's start with the service...the greeting at the door was fast and friendly, we didn't have to wait at all. We were seated in Cassie's section which was the icing on the cake. She was friendly, fast and personable...offering us options to accommodate our individual tastes without trying to upsell our order. The place was very busy but we couldn't tell because she was always right on time with check in's and refills. When I slowed down from inhaling my food (I dove right into the perfectly cooked Big Kahuna and truffle Parmesan Fries) she was right there with a to go box and sweet tea "car drink" (my way of saying "to go" drink). All in all it a 10 of 10 every time when I am craving great comfort foods with a little "elevation".

Kenny knows how to run a restaurant. I have been to his Italian restaurant a while ago, and had bookmarked this place. I think Kenny's motto must be something like - "hire the nicest folks, and let's serve customers exactly what they want - even if it isn't exactly on the menu". I recall at the italian restaurant they let me get 1/2 and 1/2 of two entrees. Bingo, exactly the kinda service I want. We had Lesleh as our server. I had seen the Yelp photos and the onion rings looked like a HUGE slices (like 2" thick), but there was one outlier photo of more thin cut onion rings, so I asked Lesleh about them. She said "sure those used to be on the menu and we still can make them - we'll make anything that used to be on the menu, including Turkey burgers, so just always ask." The lady at the table next to us was commenting on the HUGE onion rings they got and that they were too big. I clued her into the ones we ordered and she agreed they were more her speed. They had a very crispy tempura-like texture and were EXCELLENT. Lesleh had recommended the patty melt and I tried to convince hubby to go for it, but he wanted something else, so we got the Kahuna burger - 3 thin patties with lots of cheese and crispy bacon. It was huge and plenty to split.

I was craving a burger before my 6 week liquid diet (medical). So I ordered the guacamole burger & the bacon wrapped jalapeños . I had to eat this over 2 days because it was so big, however, both days were just as delicious. I loved the fact they let me pick med-rare the way I like it cooked. The burger comes with bacon but for some strange reason that is beyond me, I don't like bacon on my burgers, so they left them off. Every bite was juicy and delicious. The bacon wrapped jalapeños were crisped on the outside & dripping with cheese all over from bite one. The ranch tasted homemade and just made the jalapeños even better. I had it delivered because I didn't want to melt in 105 degree weather. However you decide to try it, DO ! It's delicious, you won't be disappointed.

Always excellent. Tuesdays are great for ribs by the bone. Fairly priced too. Lots of pictures on the walls. Great service!

We have eaten at Kenny's three times over the past few years and service has been consistently great. The restaurant is warm and feels like intimate despite the fact that they are efficiently handling a steady stream of customers. Good food, great cocktails and wonderful service on a busy Friday night without reservations...highly recommend!

Went here for my daughter's birthday and let me say that the service is always amazing. I love how they treat you here.The stuffed jalapeños are amazingly good! Some of the best I've tasted! Juicy Lucy : per my friend was really good she would order it again The patty melt was really good very flavorful ! I would order this again! Everything was good I love coming here

All is excellent !! Food ,service and ambiance !! I would give this place an A+ !!! I also want to say the people that work there are so very nice and polite !! I go there every Friday night for date night , with my hubby!!!!

Okay, the burgers were phenomenal, so definitely go here for the food - five stars. Our waitress was not very friendly or attentive. She did the bare minimum to take care of us and had a sarcastic comment when we asked about our drinks at the beginning of the meal. My husband told the hostess about the sewer smell in the men's bathroom before leaving, and she offered to get the manager for us. Our waitress hurried over and told us he was on the phone and couldn't talk to us. Meanwhile, the manager walks up and thanks us for the input. I'm not a professional restaurant reviewer, but I do know kindness when I experience it.

Food is good as always. I pretty much get the same thing every time. Smokehouse burger with truffle tots! Perfection! Love the family atmosphere, we are always surrounded by smiling faces and people just enjoying their time here. Service was great! It's always pretty good, but Andrea was on it, very attentive and helpful. Another great experience.

I placed order for take out (I picked up). Burger wrapped in foil, bun was soggy when I unwrapped it, overall flavor was ok. The fries were awful, in a brown bag that had become soaked with oil and seemed left over. Dry, gross and cold.

We came right before noon on a Sunday and it was just starting to pick up. :-). Quick service! I come here all the time with pretty much all of my friends. It's the go to for burgers and up until now I have not found a better burger spot.

We go here all the time and it never gets old! My favorite is the Asian salad that I add tuna to. The dressing is great! And the tuna is always fresh and perfectly seared. If calories weren't a factor I would be getting the Bacon and Egg every single time - yum-o!!! The brisket grilled cheese is also AMAZING! Ok everything is pretty amazing and I doubt you could go wrong. The kids LOVE this place too! It's Kraft mac and cheese but somehow my kids think it's worlds better than the kind I make at home. Their chicken tenders and fries are a favorite too. Plus they get an ice cream with the toppings of their choice on top as part of their meal.

Excellent service, friendly environment and the Juicy Lucy Burger was delicious. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Third time here at this particular Kenny's restaurant. There's a Kenny's Wood Fired Grill, a Kenny's Italian Kitchen, and a Kenny's Authentic East Coast Pizza Place. I walked in, waited for a minute or so before I realized I could sit wherever I wanted to (open seating). Connor was the bar tender, he was very polite, attentive, friendly, and kind throughout my time eating at the bar. I had a complimentary email from the owner dated November 30,2023. I had a choice of any appetizer from the menu. I chose the Queso, and Nachos, for my meal I ordered the Patty Melt, with the infamous secret tasty sauce. My patty melt was delivered on a thick, nicely toasted sourdough bread yum. I also ordered a side of fries which also cooked to my liking. I'm definitely giving my Patty melt a 10/10. Everything was delicious. I'll try the Fired Grill, or Italian spot next time until I try them all out.

Great burgers and sandwiches! I had the cheesesteak, it was very messy and the bun was very flimsy but the taste was worth it, delicious!!!

I think this place is good. Not the most amazing burger I've had but good. Healthy generous portions and pretty quick service. I have been there twice and the atmosphere, food and service did feel consistent which is Always a plus. I enjoy the customization to the burgers where you can easily mix and match. I got the gator tots last time and very good, could have been crispier , but I like soft tater tots too. The peppers didn't have any kick and I think the peppers and mushrooms lacked flavor. I wasn't sure what the idea was but felt most soft than impactful. The burger flavorful, the bun was fine. My wifes salad was actually pretty good and I think I would get that next time. We also got the ahi tuna salad which was very fresh. For me I would go back but only if the group I was with wants to go, otherwise it's just good but I appreciate their service and prices and portions. Our server was very friendly and nice he was excited to use the big pepper shaker.

I was hungry for an extraordinary grilled burger, and I knew just the right place to get it.. Kenny's. The bacon burger with melty cheddar cheese was the best. I ordered it with regular fries, which were fresh with just the right amount of sea salt on them. Best burger I've had in ages. You can't go wrong with anything in the Kenny's menu.

I got the mushroom brie burger. It was pretty good and they cooked the burger to medium. The regular French fries are good.

My husband and I went in for dinner Saturday night. The service was outstanding and the food was excellent. We ordered loaded fries, the big kaduna burger, and the mushroom brie burger. We can't wait to go back again and try something else. I highly recommend this place, they have the BEST burgers!

We called on our way down to Kenny's to ensure we could sit outside and we spoke to Robert. When we arrived 10 minutes later we were told no one could sit outside unless they brought a dog! The hostess gave us this ridiculous information. We ended up leaving and might not return because of the absurdity.

I've been coming to Kenny's off and on for over 10 years. I was here for a pick up order late March for lunch. The person I ordered from named Rob, at the bar area, hope I got that right is one of the nicest guys working here. I've seen him before but can never remember his name until this time. Some of the best burgers I've had and I've had A LOT. Rob made it even better, top notch customer service and very pleasant to deal with. Will always be coming back for sure!!

We always enjoy Kenny's! There are no bad choices on their menu! This time, I had the patty melt and hubby had the black and blue. We shared an order of the Parmesan truffle fries. Portions are large so we usually wind up taking some home. The service is always great!

A great place to enjoy a nice burger with some AMAZING loaded fries! The restaurant is pretty spacious but make sure to have a reservation if you have a larger group as wait times can get long during prime hours. The service was great and they make sure you have everything that you need. I highly recommend the loaded fries and the stuffed jalapeños were also great!

I had the Zed's Straight up (my personal favorite) and it was amazing as always! Medium rare and perfectly cooked! The food is always fresh and it's so refreshing to actually be able to taste the meat and the vegetables that are in your food And not some dried out processed meat that other restaurants try to pass off as food! their french fries are cooked in beef tallow, and the most amazing french fries you will ever have! The service is always impeccable!

This is my 2nd time and it's still amazing. "That IS a tasty burger!" -Pulp Fiction Man oh man. The burger is a beautiful thing. It's half a pound which might be daunting but it tastes so good you eat all of it. I love that they cook the meat to my preference--medium rare. Super juicy...and greasy. This is not a criticism though. Don't eat the burger if you're faint of heart when it comes to greasy goodness. It was exactly what a beautiful burger should be. Salty and grilled and delicious. I normally like ketchup but this does not need anything. You'll actually want to only taste the burger in its natural form. . The onion rings are gigantor! )it's a word. I just made it up). Wonderful sweet onions. Batter is great. Beware--this is another greasy treat but if you know onion rings...you know greasy is the way they come. I need to go for a full-happy-belly walk now.

The drinks were good! The burger was delicious! The tots and onion rings were very good. Will come back.

Burgers are really good but not amazing. Restaurant can get crowded but not usually a wait. Service is usually good.
