Kensal Rise Post Office

Convenient opening hours, but the customer service is consistently disappointing. Some staff, particularly the older gentleman near the entrance, are often rude and unprofessional. I only use this branch out of convenience. The post office would benefit from hiring staff who provide a more respectful and customer‑focused service.

I usually drop off my parcels for Parcelforce and EVRI at this post office. The chap behind the counter is very helpful and efficient. He helped me with a query I had regarding a delivery to Ireland, which is now in the EU, and provided me with all the necessary information to get the parcel dispatched. This is a very good shop, and the staff are helpful. So, it's recommended if you need a Post Office to drop off or collect your parcel.

Went to collect a parcel and because they were busy the man couldn't be bothered to look properly and told me it wasn't there and now Amazon are refusing to refund me for this now lost parcel.

Horrendous experience. The hours advertised are until 17:30 however they close earlier . I arrived there at 17:25 and this poor woman had been waiting outside for 10 minutes beforehand without being allowed in. The guy inside refused to serve us . I was there to pick up a parcel, raced after work to make it on time . Such rude customer service. I can understand he’s probably overworked around this time but also could do with better customer support. Arghhh

Not surprised at the low rating this post office already has. WHAT A SHAMBLES. So disorganised, so rude. The wait time is always ridiculous and ontop of that they allow others to cut infront of you and make you wait even more. They rarely respond to social cues such as have a nice day or thankyou. The printing Its overpriced. The staff are rude and the overall running processes are disorganised and slow. Use a different post office and save yourself the time and stress. Avoid at all costs if you can.

Has gone from bad to even worse, the quality of everything has gone downhill, selling £1 shop goods for over £5. Not to mention constantly overcharging on postal services so watch out. If you request tracked delivery at around £2.50-£3 they will put it through as special next day and charge you 4 times the price for the privilege - check the image! Once you could accept as an error but this has happenned now at least 3 times in despite confirming the delivery type during the transaction itself, as I cannot see the machine clearly along with being in a wheelchair it almost feels as if disabled people are being taken advantage of in this situation.

Would not advise getting Evri packages sent here. My package arrived at 2:55pm and when I went to collect it at 5:00pm I was told it had not been sorted and I was unable to collect it. Would now have to wait three days until I can actually get my package. Poor service.

I don’t understand why the reviews for this place are so low. Staff are always so accommodating. It has everything you’d want in a post office/newsagent. Couldn’t recommend enough
