As part of our Root & Renew Retreat at La Mar Ô Fé in El Perelló, Spain, we brought our guests to Kensho and it was one of the most memorable experiences of the whole trip!
Our host was Humbert, who was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the art of making rice and rice-based products like miso and sake. He walked us through Kensho’s process with such clarity and care. It was so fascinating and also deeply inspiring to learn how traditional Japanese fermentation is being cultivated right here in Spain because of its special delta.
The sake tasting and miso sampling were absolutely delicious. Every product was bursting with flavor and made with clear intention and craftsmanship. The group loved it so much we all left with so many bottles of sake and jars of miso to bring home!
