As part of our Root & Renew Retreat at La Mar Ô Fé in El Perelló, Spain, we brought our guests to Kensho and it was one of the most memorable experiences of the whole trip! Our host was Humbert, who was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the art of making rice and rice-based products like miso and sake. He walked us through Kensho’s process with such clarity and care. It was so fascinating and also deeply inspiring to learn how traditional Japanese fermentation is being cultivated right here in Spain because of its special delta. The sake tasting and miso sampling were absolutely delicious. Every product was bursting with flavor and made with clear intention and craftsmanship. The group loved it so much we all left with so many bottles of sake and jars of miso to bring home! If you’re looking for a truly unique local experience, especially one rooted in sustainability, fermentation, and local production, Kensho is a must-visit. Whether you’re planning a group tasting or just want to try the best sake and miso in Spain, I couldn’t recommend them more. Thank you to Humbert and the Kensho team for such a special and delicious experience!

Fuimos por probar algo diferente, recordar reservar con antelación que nosotros fuimos súper felices. El sake pues bueno pero no es que seamos fans, ahora la explicación, los misos y toda la cata genial. Te explican todo y con consejos de cómo usarlo. Ahh y la que no tiene alcohol espectacular! Gracias por todo! Probablemente compraremos más online 😜

Adquirimos dos productos, AMAZAKE ARROZ INTEGRAL y AMAZAKE ALMENDRAS, geniales productos sin alcohol para los que el sake no es una opción viable. El envío súper rápido y perfectamente protegido, cuidando el detalle. Las bebidas, deliciosas, en nuestro caso el dulzor del amazake de almendras nos ha fascinado. Con ganas de probar más productos y experiencias Kenshô.

Ens ha encantat la cata de sake i aliments fermentats, superant totes les expectatives! La cata comença amb una visita als arrossars on s’explica la varietat d’arrossos i les peculiaritats de la sembra i la recollida que es fa en el Delta. Posteriorment en la bodega es visita la sala a on es produeix el sake i finalment es passa a fer el tast de varietats de sake i productes fermentats com el miso i d’altres elaboracions genuïnes de Kenshô. M’ha agradat moltíssim les explicacions de la Meri i la proposta que ens ha fet per tastar el pate de miso i tofu, les maioneses que elaboren i els tamaris. A la bodega es poden comprar els productes així com per la web o en centres especialitats. Hem gaudit moltíssim, hem après com l’alimentació ens pot ajudar a sentir-nos amb més vitalitat i algunes paraules japoneses (Junmai) que esperem poder recordar! Recomano moltíssim aquesta experiència per fer amb amics, familiars i en parella, i també per regalar. Per mi ha sigut de 10!

Saben muchísimo sobre fermentación y comparten generosamente sus conocimientos Todo lo que Probamos fue una delicia y después compré varias cosas para fermentar en casa. He probado los productos y son de excelente calidad. Volveré a por otra experiencia en otra época del año, ya que cambian según la temporada
