Came in at 12:00pm on the 29th of December The park was an extremely lovely place and the trails were wonderful. There are lots of caves but some are quite short. There are monkeys, bats and butterflies and they come quite close so it is a great experience, but the ticket people are extremely rude and not very helpful. I’ve read multiple reviews that say the same thing. The actual park was lovely though and there was a breathtaking view from the top of the viewing tower.

20/12/2025 I had high expectations (because I really wanted to see a deer, but we didn't found it), but what impressed me most were the caves. Due to the rain that day, the tour wasn't as pleasant. The tour takes around 2h30, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring snacks! So, keep an eye on the weather forecast when you come!

A beautiful national park in southern Taiwan with caves, viewpoints, bayan trees, and small paths that feel a bit like walking through slot canyons. We spent about three quiet hours there in the morning and barely met anyone.

This a great spot for a day hike while you are in the Hengchun/Kenting area. The hike in is almost all uphill and will get your heart going. I was able to get around most of the park in a couple of hours. There are some cool caves and crevasses to go through. I did see a few monkeys up in the trees as well. I also encountered a snake which is not a surprise in these parts.

If you love nature, you must come here. Easy 2-3 hours walk in the park. Super interesting as to how it was formed, and so many butterflies 🦋 !!!

Very walkable and easy park. Thr park is actually quite small, and the paths are wide; except for the cave paths. A variety of activities here, from stalacmite caves to lighthouse tower with a view. Saw many elderly walking here too.

It was great but if your over 6 feet then you will walk into giant orb Weaver webs everywhere. A shuttle that's consistent until 6:30 for leaving also is needed help tourist who need to get to the top because all there is only a driving path but there's no walk way and it's too long to walk anyway. I had to take a Uber to get to the top.

FOR NATURE LOVERS, THIS IS A MUST-SEE IN KENTING!! Beautiful, almost magical forest with surprisingly intricate caves and limestone cliffs with amazing banyan and pine trees and plants, filled with monkeys, butterflies, bats, cicadas, and elusive deer, and all accessible to viewing via paved/cement trails that wind their way on a varied gradient, with steps, to the cooler breezes at the top of the small mountain. Two excellent and air-conditioned cafes serve a small, nice selection of tasty dishes and desserts, at the main Visitor Center (a 10 mins walk from the ticket booth/parking lots) and on the 6th floor of the Sea View Tower (which has, as you might expect, excellent views). Terrific experience, kid-friendly (with many areas stroller accessible), a very special place, and one of the very special forests in Taiwan.
