Kenton Palace Hotel

The room was nice at first with No parking and the hotel is next to a gas station with cars noise all the time. Moreover there is a club/bar with a band playing until very late in the AM hours. The noise kept us up at night which this alone made it a 2 star experience. The shower/bed was standard. Overall for this price it was a bad experience as we wanted a good night rest after a long day of touring the surrounding beautiful Bariloche. I’d recommend people to stay a few streets up or in a different hotel that is more insulated to noise.

Not a 4 star by any standard. Rooms are small. They are hot even when it is 40f out side. You have to open a window to keep them cool. Then you get street noise. No way to control temp. You shower whole bathroom is wet. Room is to small way to small. Bed is to singles pushed together. Location is the only good thing.

Service: When I arrived at the hotel at 10:30pm, the desk person was on the phone and I waited around 15 minutes before she finished with that call. After the call, she kept typing up something, so I assumed she was busy and would get to me shortly. Another 15 minutes passed and she still seemed busy, so I asked, “Check in?” which finally made her acknowledge I had been standing in front of her for 30 minutes to try to check in. The breakfast is very, very bland. The rooms have no A/C, so you have to keep your window open to cool room. No problem with that except that there is a club that stays open until 3am very close by that blasts obnoxious music throughout the night. The rooms are also just disappointing in general given the price point and the bathrooms are poorly ventilated. The best part about this hotel is the location. It is very centrally located to a lot of the coolest restaurants, markets, the bus station, etc.

Booked room that was not available, so the option offered were downgrade take it or leave it. Reception not polite, breakfast very basic for the price, internet doesn't work all and nobody solves. If you need a good cost benefit, it's not the hotel to come.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Rooms are outdated, bathroom was dirty, breakfast was nasty. The staff is nice.

A disappointing experience. The view from my room was a lot of air conditioning vents which resulted in the air coming to my window not being very fresh. It was also very noisy. Likewise, my room had a mini bar but the noise it made was unbelievable - it was extremely loud. I could also clearly hear music from outside as well as other guests. The room overall felt run down and in need of renovation. However, the location is good and the staff is friendly!

When we arrived, it took us over an hour to check in, the staff where very unkind. For example, the weather was bad and they made us walk a block to pay a city tax because they wouldn’t let us check in if we didn’t and our credit card didn’t work on the online platform (we stayed at other hotels before and they pay the tax for you, besides, we asked to give us the room and we would do it as soon as the weather improved yet they didn’t help us with that).||||While all that was happening, they have no parking reserved for arrivals so we didn’t have where to leave the car and they offered a parking that was a block away yet they wouldn’t give it to us until after check in… so all that hour we had to park illegally and stress about police coming. Of course they charged us for that parking.||||The room was ugly and small, no complementary anything, not even a glass to drink water, and they left a water bottle but saying it costs $320! I also read they charge you for using the pool but we didn’t go. I really don’t understand how this place has 4 stars, I would give it 2 tops… ||||It was clean and well located though

The rooms are very small but adequately cleaned and furnished. The bathrooms however were tiny with no room to put any toiletries other than a very small shelf above the sink which you banged your head on if you bent down to use the sink. The drainage in the bathrooms was incredibly noisy in our own and surrounding rooms. There was no air con and the noise levels along the corridors were unacceptable due to poor soundproofing. Breakfast was adequate, evening meal acceptable but very slow service but the staff were pleasant and helpful enough. Great location
