We heard about this place from our tour at Maker's Mark and let me tell you, what an awesome time we had. You start at the visitors center with an explanation and then you jump into their shuttle bus. There's no pictures allowed on the tour. Inside you get to see firsthand how the whole process is done. The demonstration of replacing damaged wood was fascinating. Well worth the price for a great insight.

Pat was a terrific ambassador for the cooperage and the community. This is a must tour when in the area. Apple Maps led us to the shipping building of the cooperage. The tour starts across the street from the shipping and plant. DONT FOLLOW GOOGLE MAPS TO THE SHIPPING AREA, FOLLOW THE POSTED SIGNS ON THE STREET TO THE TOUR SITE.

Highly recommend the cooperage tour if you can peel yourself from the distilleries, it is amazing the amount of labor and craftsmanship that goes into something that seems so simple. Hats off to the hard working employees. The only disappointment is that you aren't allowed to take pictures inside the factory, and there would have been some great ones.

I’ve been on a ton of distillery tours hearing about the barrels they use, but they don’t do it Justice. This tour really gives you a lot more insight into what goes into a barrel. Tour guide was very informative and could answer all questions except how many barrels are made in a day. They provide headsets so you can easily hear the tour guide throughout the tour and they have demos for the groups. No photos allowed inside the working facility and no open toed shoes

This is the only one you will see in KY so that’s really a great addition to the bourbon distillery visit! There seem to be a lot about secrets and confidentiality but I wished we could see a bit more really. No pics, no camera (ok I got a few by mistake). Still, really enjoyed!

Great place to learn about how the barrels your whiskey is aged in are made! The tour is very well done and informative, taking you inside the actual working factory. This is a great pairing with your visit to bourbon country!

Very interesting. Well worth a stop on your bourbon adventure. Well worth it even if you are not doing any bourbon tours. I highly reccomend this tour!
