Kenzo

Lovely mom and pop shop. I ordered the takoyaki which is one of my favorite foods and Kenzo knocked it out the park crunchy outside with a tender piece of octopus on the inside. On top of that we order the gisha roll, love roll, crazy salmon roll, and sake salmon sushi. All were amazing with their own unique taste. The quality of fish was great did not have that overwhelming fish taste! The service was amazing very friendly and hospital. Our food came out in a timely matter and the plating was impeccable. The shop itself had nice music not too loud and not too quiet. They have nice artwork of all kinds hanging around the walls.

We came here for the first time today and loved it! The food was really good, it wasn’t crowded at all, and the employees were amazing (especially Richard!). If you’re looking for a good Japanese restaurant in Murphy, give this place a try!

Great quality food with good service in a quaint restaurant. Ordered avocado bomb, kenzo roll, and eel roll. Very satisfied.

They definitely go above and beyond here 🍣🍱. The simple Tempura Shrimp roll was less than simple with the added crabmeat🥰and then the masterful Kenzo Roll (check the pic ⬇️), so delicious and filling ❤️. But yet, they were so kind and gave me an ice cream bar for dessert 🍨. I enjoyed the extra touch of customer service. I would definitely go back again.

One of our family's favorite places! It has a wonderful atmosphere, a diverse menu with plenty of options, and great service. It's close to home, so we can easily make it there for lunch during our break. Plus, it's always nice to get free ice cream—I know I don’t even need to order dessert!

Been coming to Kenzo for years! The food, service and atmosphere is amazing. Such friendly people! The food is always very good. One of my favorites is the burrito (not on the menu). Had dinner here last night and loved seeing my good friends.

Delicious sushi spot! We ordered both rolls and sushi/sashimi. Their sushi rice is sweet and fresh - making all the rolls very tasty. Our server was an older gentleman, while he did not speak much, he was very kind and friendly providing service. Our table received an extra sushi plate, soft drinks, and ice cream for dessert on the house. We'll definitely be coming back with our family for another dinner!

This restaurant is an absolute Japanese gem! The menu is incredibly diverse, offering something for everyone—from classic sushi, sashimi, and rolls to perfectly cooked ramen and other fantastic dishes. A special shout-out to the not-on-the-menu burrito, which is a delightful surprise! What truly sets this place apart is the quality: the sushi rice is always fresh and subtly sweet, and everything is prepared perfectly. The atmosphere is calming and homey, making for a wonderful dining experience, which is complemented by the friendly and attentive service. Highly recommended! FAMILY OWNED. The husband didn't say a word while he served us, but I get it. It worked for me.
