Beautiful hotel. It's old but some of the facilities are still well maintained, there are some concerns such as the smell of the drain in the bathroom (211), dusty corners of the room, stains on the sheets, and cleanliness of the floor. The staff in the lobby and cleaning service are very nice and friendly. Breakfast is quite good although limited variety. However, the staff who makes eggs is very arrogant, we are a Muslim family and asked whether they use pork or not, but was answered in a very curt and dismissive tone, after that, he kindly chatted and smiled nicely to the foreigners who approached him, a striking difference in attitude towards guests. Overall, this hotel is quite good with direct access to the beach and a very cheap price (USD 65/nights)

Our stay at Keraton Jimbaran Resort was truly lovely and tranquil. The location is quite central, making it a great base for exploring all that Bali has to offer. The resort has a beautiful, traditional Balinese charm that we really appreciated. The staff were amazing—always friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. We can’t wait for our next stay! — Mark and Rama

Great value place nestled on Jimbaran beach. Very quiet here always, great value and location is superb. Although a little dated, the lobby and rooms are huge and in traditional Bali style. Room service available, walking distance to bars, restaurants etc. We have stayed on multiple occasions!

Was very disappointed in this hotel..nothing resort like about it. The architecture is nice my room was huge, the grounds were lush but overall it is dated and tired, So many steps and no porter to meet you and take your bags, not a good first impression. The bed linen was not clean, grey and stained. The bathroom smelled mouldy. The ornate double wooden doors to the room were warped so you had to slam them to shut and even when locked there was a gap between them. All day all night you would hear people slamming their doors. The pool was nice and you have direct access to the beach. The sun lounges were free. The restaurant food was very ordinary, no spices, very bland. The staff, while polite, were unenthusiastic, very slow and lacked the warmth you experience in other Bali hotels. No one smiled to greet you. Location wise perfect if you just want to relax and hang out at the hotel for most of your stay, otherwise there is a walk to the main road and not much nearby, or a walk along the beach side to the fish market restaurants. That’s why the hotel should have more food/drink/activity options. The main road is so busy and not easy to walk on the footpath as so many people park across it. This hotel has the potential to find its past glory if the owners/management were willing to spend time and money,, in the meantime it truly is such a shame.

Ambiance was spectacular, service was top notch! Only improvement to suggest is the perfume they use for the room to be changed as it smells like urine as you get in, with the help of dry mode from AC and some perfume, we've fixed this. Huge thank you to all the amazing staff of this hotel, would love to be back here someday. Thank you Keraton, i loved your gong too 😛

Favorite place to stay in Bali. Traditional architecture, spacious rooms. Resort opens out onto Jimbaran beach. Excellent buffet breakfast, fabulous shopping in warangs beside hotel with great massages with Rosa and Maya. Resort Staff are attentive, polite and considerate.

The hotel is decorated as old Balinese style, which adds to the feel, but unfortunately it also means they don’t want to modernize as an excuse. Good: price, location is ok, close to airport, direct beach access, very polite and (mostly) helpful staff, very quiet (away from the road and clubs).OK: breakfast, room (size and style), restaurant.Bad: bedsheets and towels (clean, but not new, stains), in-room amenities (wifi sucks, old wall outlets, old electric appliances, old and unsecure doors and locks.Verdict: public area is better than the rooms, you’re getting a good deal considering the price, but next time we would just spend more for something better rather than coming back here. Honestly, the hotel is pretty old, so because of much earlier good reviews here it still holds 4 star rating which isn’t true anymore.

We chose a room and not a suite. When we arrived we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. When we arrived in our room we felt it was quite old with noisy air conditioner and a Sanyo bar fridge that was in need of defrosting to properly work (Sanyo went out of business in 2012). We called reception and maintenance staff immediately came to fix the issue replacing the fridge with one that worked. The bathroom had tap fittings which worked but appeared to be close to coming off the wall. The drainage in the shower and basin was very slow but it all still worked. They had a lovely supply of soaps etc which were replenished on a daily basis. There were bull ants in the room, the occasional mosquito and a resident small gecko lizard. The walls were thin and we had noisy neighbors until 3am for 2 of the days we were here. The restaurant was good but we found breakfast to be just ample with poor quality bread and a slow unmanned egg station for omelettes most of the time - but still ok. We chose this room as it was cheap for the area but only 3 stared it as it was in need of a good makeover. Apparently the last renovation was 2012 with the resort being built in 1991.
