Kermit Siargao gives off warm Italian vibes — cozy, lively, and definitely one of the go-to spots on the island. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner in separate time windows, so it’s best to plan ahead depending on your preferred meal schedule. Walk-ins are welcome, but booking a reservation is recommended, especially during peak hours. We ordered the Surfer’s Pizza, which was flavorful and perfectly baked. The dip, however, is quite spicy — so dip at your own risk! It actually pairs better with their honey dip, which balances the spice nicely. The Beef Saltimbocca was a pleasant surprise — it was my first time trying it, and it was absolutely delicious. Just a tip: enjoy it while it’s hot, as the beef tends to get tough once it cools down. Unfortunately, the Chicken Kebab was a bit of a letdown. It was pricey for its serving size — only three small pieces of chicken and mostly veggies. Overall, Kermit Siargao is worth visiting for its good food, island-Italian charm, and relaxed atmosphere — just choose your dishes wisely!

Absolutely abysmal experience. We visited Kermit restaurant on our first night in Siargao, middle of the week and around 8pm, so I couldn’t imagine on a busy weekend how lacklustre the service would be. To start off the location is poor, you’ll be required to travel down an extremely rocky and uneven road, certainly don’t go after rain or it’ll be all puddle and mud. Once you walk in the gates you’ll be greeted with the smokers area, lovely smell to greet you so be warned if you can’t stand it. When you get to reception there’s a “please wait to be seated sign” so we stood there, 5 minutes goes by and still nothing, my girlfriend walks around the corner and there’s a “reception” sign but when she asks she’s informed that it’s for the hotel and where we’re standing is indeed for the restaurant, another minute or two and someone finally comes, says it’s about a 20 minute wait. We luckily get a seat a few minutes quicker and this is where things truly start to go downhill. Water and menus are already at the table, we look through, pick our items, start chatting for a little then time starts ticking by 5, 10, 15 minutes and no one’s come to our table. She spots 3 employees standing in the corner not far, all on the their phones, she attempts raising her hand a total of 5 times before someone finally notices. She orders for us and she speaks the language incase but the items are in English so I’m listening in, we order 2 shakes, a chicken Caesar salad TO START(that’s important later) and a surfers pizza. Two people, four items, not complicated stuff. The shakes come and their both good but then we’re stuck waiting again, thinking there’s chicken in the salad and it needs to be cooked we give it a little time until a different waitress brings us a pizza, a “Kermit pizza” we inform her no, we ordered a “surfers pizza” she takes it away and a few moments later our original server brings the same pizza back saying “the Kermit is the surfers pizza”, stunned and confused we say okay and accept it. A pizza is a pizza and we’re the type that can accept mistakes happen but what commences next is unacceptable. He also brings the Caesar salad so we start eating that and put the pizza to the side, very little chicken in it but the dressing was good. Now whether it was coincidental timing or what, as soon as we finally touch the wrong pizza that was brought and left with us, a second pizza arrives, nearly 5 minutes later and we’re told this is the “surfers pizza”, extremely confused now we say we only ordered the one pizza and he told us they’re the same thing just a few minutes ago? He now begins gaslighting my girlfriend that he confirmed the order with her for 2 pizzas at the start, which I will say he did confirm everything she said (as is a common practice for the servers to just read back everything to confirm) however as I stated earlier I was listening while she ordered and there was only 4 items and not once in the conversation was the word “Kermit” said, plus to top it off why would 2 people be ordering 2 large pizzas when groups of 3-5 were sharing one pizza, perhaps just a lack of common sense on the servers part. As he continued to gaslight in convincing us that we’re wrong and he’s right for the next several minutes we get fed up and ask for the bill, he removes the surfers pizza from the bill and charges for the Kermit (of course the more expensive one). Mind you this entire time no type of management comes over to understand the situation, no apologies or anything from the waiter. We pay and leave highly dissatisfied. Later in the week we visited both Bravo and Naga Siargao and we highly recommend visiting those establishments, much better service, location, prices and the food was exceptional.

We went to the restaurant maybe 7-10 times while we were staying on the island, along with most the other popular restaurants on the island. In my opinion it’s best place for pizza on the island. Also, the chocolate lava cake has to be the best I’ve ever had hands down. If you want a heavenly experience get the garlic bread with cheese spinach dip, pizza (your choice), and chocolate lava cake. We tried every dessert here and most the pizzas and appetizers. Service is actually good compared to most Filipino places. Weekends they are slammed tho (just to consider).

This is our second time at Kermit Siargao. The first visit was for my birthday, and the second was for my fiancée’s birthday. As always, the food is delicious, the ambience is lovely, and the staff are incredibly friendly. They also have plenty of healthy options on the menu. This is definitely one of the restaurants you should visit when you’re in Siargao. There is usually a waiting time since it’s very popular, but it’s absolutely worth it. On our third visit next year, I’ll be celebrating my birthday here again.

I went yesterday with my husband, children and a friend, ordered 4 pizza and they were all delicious. As we liked it a lot, we came back tonight with my whole family, but this time I ordered a salad, specifically the Kermit salad with sesame crusted tuna. It’s a nice, well portioned salad. Not even an hour later, I stared to feel unwell, very bad stomach ache. I just ended up throwing it all up. I’m not sure if it was the salad or the tuna. Either way, this review is not to put down the name of the restaurant because it’s great, food is delicious and the servers super nice. It’s just to make them aware that maybe something contaminated their salad/tuna. Thankfully after i threw up all the salad, I felt instantly better.

I've never stayed in the hotel, but this is a go to eating spot for us. We probably go here every other week. Food and drinks are constantly good. The pizza is pretty good for what's available on the island. My favorite is the seafood chowder. We tend to enjoy pretty much everything we try. This is a top recommendation for me. Enjoy!

It's our first time in Siargao, and one of our friends insisted that we try this place because it's one of the top restaurants on the island. And when we tried their food, like 'Wow!'... It's literally amazing, especially their pizza. Besides, it was also heartwarming when the bartender Nico entertained us and offered some drinks for happy hour. He is really nice and so idealistic in sharing some thoughts about Siargao. Kermit is not just about having a beautiful place and great food, but they also have good staff where you can feel at home.

Yelp
The ambiance is chill. I mean, you are on an island. There were lots of people, outdoor seating. The wait was okay considering we didn't have reservations and a party of 6 including a child. The service was prompt and kind. The food was good. We ordered pizza and pasta. Some alcoholic drinks that were sweet, fruity, and to their liking. When we return to Siargao, we'd eat here again. And we'd consider staying at the resort and it looks nice, too.

Yelp
LOVE THIS PIZZA PLACE!!! We came back twice!! First, we're in an island in the middle of nowhere... Paradise... my expectations are not on the foodie level snobby Michelin type. Kermit really impressed us! The pizza is so flavorful, thin crust perfect, hot and dough was so light for our tummy... we came back twice! There's 4 guys working the pizza section and they were great! They're busy and they stayed on top of their orders- making it all fresh. We had a 20mins wait, we checked the items in their shop and got drinks at the bar and were seated. It's packed because Kermit is known for surfing lodging - the staff does their best to accommodate, bartender was quick and nice, wait staff were friendly. I can't wait to go back and visit Kermit pizza again even though it takes me a 14hrs. flight :) Oh yeah and happy hour 2 for 1 drinks!! Spicy Watermelon the best!

Yelp
I think the pizza here is better than some places in Los Angeles! The dough was doughy and soft and delicious.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere here at Kermit! It's a little tough to find since it's off of the main street but it's nice that they have their own parking area. We arrived early around 5:00 and managed to get the nice table with cushioned seating where you can take off your shoes and sit criss-cross style. Good thing we got there early! The place was packed and had a wait out front by the time we left. We ordered the Kermit pizza. I liked that their crust had more dough to it and was more like pizza than flatbread. It was served with this spicy curry sauce on the side which didn't really seem to match with the refreshing ingredients on the pizza, but by itself it was really good. The mango float was a huge portion! Great to share with the table. It was more on the frozen side though which made it a bit difficult to eat at first.. I was hoping for it to be more soft and fluffy. Great chill spot for some quality Italian influenced food! Even though it's not right on the water, the restaurant still has the relaxed and island vibe. You can also shop in their store where they have Gwapitos gear!

Yelp
We had a blast at this place. I knew the place already from research, but by the experience of it and service we had our group had a great time that evening. A must on your Siargao go to list!

Yelp
A perfect place for Italian dish with touch of island vibes. The pizza dough was deliciously made, the toppings and everything was yummy. Had pasta also and the pasta sauce was perfect for me, not too sour neither sweet. My brother had Pan Seared Tuna and it was amazingly yummy. Downside, this is a popular place for dinner in the island and long wait is expected every night. Lots of mosquitoes.

Yelp
Nice location, cute ambiance, if I was eating this place overall, plus food review I would give it an honest 3 stars. From all the hype it gets, its just a decent place. I've had better pizza, and pasta. The pizza is too fluffy for me! It's hard to compare when I base all my "artisanal pizza" from Fornino's. BUT If I was rating this as a strictly based siargao eateries. I guess I'd give it a 4. Please make your dough less fluffy. Try Fornino's in New York to get a good understanding of dough! But still pretty good.

Yelp
Pizza is great considering this is an island in Asia and not in Italy. They have special oven to bake the pizza. The pizza is Italian style. It's thin and I like the dough. It's a bit pricey compared to other eating places in this area. The only thing I don't like is that they have specific hours when they serve pizza. As this is a resort and people generally are not following a normal schedule, they should serve pizza (which is what they are known for) throughout the day. I think their hours for pizzas as from lunch to 2 pm and 5pm til closing. Definitely a good option when you are in the island and want to have a different type of food other than grilled meats.

Yelp
Took a trip to several islands in the Philippines and after days of eating Filipino food Kermits was a delicious restaurant that reminded me of home. It wasn't the best Pizza I've ever had (I mean I do live near Chicago...so duh) but it was really really yummy. Actually the truffle risotto it was one of my favorite things I ate in the Philippines! It was quite busy when we got there but we were able to snag a bar table while we waited and our wait ended up being shorter than they quoted. The ambiance and atmosphere were great...kinda like a combo hipster island vibe. It clearly is one of the more popular tourist restaurants as there were people from all around the world dining there, but that made it that much more fun as everyone we met or randomly talked to was super friendly! I definitely recommend it if you're in the area!

Yelp
To start, the place is great and aesthetically pleasing than most. A nice hideout for surfers and travellers alike. The food complements the ambiance the place brings out as it is delicious at taste, has a mouth-watering scent, and is magnificent in sight.

Yelp
This review is for the restaurant. Went to Siargao last month and listed Kermit's pizza as one of the of the places to check out so when we got there, called the restaurant to reserve a table and the lady who answered said that no more reservations were taken and that we can just walk in and wait for an available table. So went to the restaurant for dinner around 6:00pm and the hostess told us it's going to be an hour of wait. We decided to just order food to go. While waiting for the food, we noticed that there were several tables available at the outside area. The hostess said that they are not booking the tables outside because of the rains and that they wouldn't have any space inside to accommodate diners once it starts raining. Told her if we can just have our food to go outside and if it rains we can just leave. Hostess said they're not allowed to do that. Inconvenient but what can we do. We can leave it at that, but then again a waitress started setting up one of the tables for 8 outside so I asked the hostess if they're opening the tables outside, she could not explain why they were setting up one of the tables. Just to make a point I asked the hostess, what happens to all those tables outside since all had names on it. She said, "actually those are fake reservations." I told her that since they are setting up one of the tables outside, they should be able to do the same to all the other tables outside. So are they choosing which customers to serve depending how big the party is? Or is it based on race or a certain criteria they have? She was polite and all but could not give any logical reason. All I can say is stop lying to your customers. Eventually it's going to get you.
