The place is a bit far from the main road, but the ambience was nice and welcoming. The front desk personnel were friendly, but unfortunately, our experience with the receiving waitress, Aiza, was disappointing.
My friend and I initially sat at a table near a fan, which had another table adjacent to it. Aiza told another waitress that the table was a priority for big groups, even though the two tables were not connected. We complied and moved to a nearby table. However, a few minutes later, another group of just two people—foreigners—sat at the exact table we were asked to leave.
It was frustrating and disappointing to feel that we were treated differently just because we were Filipino. If the rule was genuinely about prioritizing big groups, it should have been applied consistently.
That said, the rest of the experience was fine. Our assigned waiter, Mark, was impressive and attentive, and the food was good. I especially enjoyed the fish in the salad.
Overall, the restaurant was okay, but Aiza’s preferential treatment left a bad impression. Funny how prices were the same for all, service charges applied to everyone, and yet, it seemed like some customers were treated better than others. In the end, we still tipped Mark for his great service.
