Very busy, trendy breakfast cafe. Went Friday morning before 10 and it was already packed. Didn’t have to wait too long. Ordered the cornbread florentine. Two perfect poached eggs sitting on a bed of steamed spinach and sausage round on cornbread. Drizzled with amazing hollandaise sauce $22. Asked for a side of roasted potatoes after seeing them on my husbands plate $9. He had the Kerr Street breakfast. Two eggs over easy with 2 strips of bacon, roasted potatoes and salad greens with a nice dressing as well as delicious toasted sour dough bread $24. Two coffees $8. On the pricey side but the presentation of the meals and quality of the ingredients is what you pay for. The nicely decorated ambiance makes it a great place to meet for a delicious breakfast. Customers next to us ordered the avocado toast and strawberry French toast. They also looked amazingly delicious.

Stopped by for brunch and really enjoyed it! The food was hearty, fresh, and full of flavor — definitely worth the visit. We had to wait a little while to get seated, but once the food arrived, it was well worth it. Great portion sizes and cozy atmosphere. Would happily come back again!

Kerr Street Cafe is a cozy spot that's been on my radar for a while, and it definitely lives up to the hype for a great breakfast or quick lunch. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, making the whole experience a pleasure. While the menu is on the smaller side, that's exactly the charm of the place—they do what they do very well. The Morty was a standout. The croissant was perfectly flaky, and the sandwich itself was a great portion with excellent flavour. The mushroom toast was also delicious; the combination of the whipped cheese, truffle chive vinaigrette, and poached egg came together beautifully, even if I personally prefer warm mushrooms. We also tried the Green Bowl, which was packed with healthy goodness like kale, brussels sprouts, and roasted sweet potatoes. It's a fantastic, flavourful option, though I'd recommend it for sharing as the portion size is quite generous! Overall, Kerr Street Cafe is an excellent choice for a satisfying brunch or lunch. The quality of the food and the warm atmosphere make it a spot I'd gladly return to.

Google
Kerr Street Café is a cozy Oakville spot known for its rich coffee and delicious Kerr Special Breakfast. sunny eggs, sourdough toast, crispy potatoes, and avocado is fresh and flavorful. The café’s bright, modern vibe makes it perfect for brunch dates. Service can be slow during busy hours, but overall it’s a great place to enjoy quality coffee and a satisfying breakfast.

We’ve been here a few times and really love the coffee and the freshness of the food. We’ve tried different items on the menu and have never been disappointed with our selection. Pretty busy even on a Friday morning but service is efficient and friendly. There’s indoor and outdoor seating options and is very clean and organized. If you’re in Oakville this place is a must for breakfast/lunch. Just go early as they tend to get extremely busy quickly especially on the weekends.

Google
Great spot for a breakfast in Oakville. Good vibes, friendly atmosphere and a variety of delicious options. The Cornbread Florentine is recommend. The Garlic Parmesan fries is a good side option as well. Service was great, just be prepared to wait for a bit as it does get busy on weekends.

Had such a lovely birthday brunch at Kerr Street Café, treated by a dear friend — and it was everything I needed! The fresh orange juice was the perfect start, the Turkish eggs were rich and flavourful, and the French toast was an indulgent, sweet finish. Warm vibes, great service, and beautifully plated food made it an all-around enjoyable experience. Definitely a spot I’d return to for a cozy brunch date!

Google
The bacon they serve here is down right embarrassing. Cooked in the oven with no flavour what so ever. Such an artisan place you think they would care a little more about the bacon they serve. Here is my $8 order of bacon~receiving 3 strips nice and cool from the warming drawer soaked in grease. They look like ready crisp bacon from the grocery store. If this place even had half decent bacon I would give 5 stars it’s actually such a shame

Yelp
Waiting time: 3/5 Cleanliness: 4/5 ‍Service: 3/5 Taste: 4/5 Pricing: 2.5/5 Overall: It was pretty busy for a Wednesday, and our group of eight waited about 15 minutes for a table, not bad given the size of our party. Overall, everything was fairly average and didn't quite feel worth the price point. The 4oz beef broth shot had good flavor (kind of like gravy) but definitely not worth the $7-$8. The standout for me was actually the pickled chilis in the breakfast sandwich, instead of being tart, they were sweet and surprisingly delicious.

Yelp
I was in the area a decided to drop by for Saturday brunch. The restaurant was packed when I arrived, and I had to wait around 20 minutes before being seated. It should be noted that there's a 75 minute seating limit here. My partner and I ordered the Kerr Breakfast with Smoked Salmon, Pancakes, Sticky Toffee Pudding, Latte, and Matcha Latte, and loved every bite. The food were all beautifully presented, and delicious! The sticky toffee pudding stood out the most as melted in my mouth, and was probably the best I ever had. The restaurant itself has a lively ambiance, with modern decor, and is very family friendly. There's a small kids menu if you want to bring the little ones along. They also have a takeout counter if you just want to grab a coffee, or light bite to go. Both street parking and a paid parking lot are near by.

Yelp
We came here for breakfast on a weekday and to our surprise, most of the tables were full at 10am. But the service was still very fast. The vibe is very cozy, suitable for friends and family meetups or even working during the day. There's also street parking available in front of the café. We ordered Mocha and Matcha Latte with almond milk. They tasted good and were served with barista's artwork. For breakfast, we ordered Ricotta Pancakes and Huevos Rancheros. Pancakes tasted amazing. Just wishing they had more ham, lol. Huevos Rancheros was perfectly seasoned and served with soft fried eggs; super delicious and filling.

Yelp
Exactly what we needed after a long journey. We needed to have a sit down breakfast after driving from Niagara and this was the best place for it! The ambience was 10/10 the food was 10/10. Highly recommended!!!!

Yelp
One of my favourite place on Kerr street food is wowwwww and I can't recommend enough

Yelp
Solid brunch spot. Very busy, but the wait for a table seemed fairly quick. I enjoyed the food, but I wouldn't say anything was extraordinary or so different from other places. I would recommend this as a sure/safe place to go when you're hungry. Portions were also great for the price. I must say, I'm not a huge fan of cornbread, but the cornbread was done very well here - very moist and a good pairing with the other elements of the dish.

Yelp
Fantastic coffee and great spot for a casual breakfast or lunch. Local, organic foods curated with care! Menu does not change often. Smash burger is 10/10 Service had always been great! I have been going for years! Never disappoints.

Yelp
I LOVED this place great food and fantastic service. The staff was incredibly kind. I ran out of battery on my laptop and they went out of their way to way to find me an outlet. It's a small thing but the effort goes a long way. We ordered the cornbread egg and the Kerr eggs breakfast and both were excellent. Tasty and very well done. I would certainly come back when in the area. Oh... and the coffee was superb!

Yelp
I got the chance to come by this cafe. I came at a busy morning when the children was on their march break. I had to wait awhile to be seated but it was bearable. The atmosphere of this cafe is cute and cozy. This is my first cafe to visit in Oakville. It's great to eat with friends, family or with significant other. I got French toast and it was amazing! I wished I had some more strawberries. Regardless, everything tasted delicious!

Yelp
Breakfast of the Week, right here in downtown Oakville, Ontario. Brunch is served every day until 3:00. The choices are creative and well executed. Starts with coffee from Brothers small batch roasters, and a well trained barista able to bring the most out of each concoction. My basic Java was rich and bracing with excellent aftertaste throughout the morning. My Kerr Street Breakfast was basic (2 sunny side ups, sourdough toast, fingerling home fries, roast tomato, vinaigrette greens), but worked so well together with texture and flavor supreme, and special mention for the taters which were best of breed. The optional berry jam sent the toast into orbit, and was the perfect foundation for the eggs to reach the mouth. Crunch! Ooze! Yum! Really loved every bite. The Frenchie looked a work of art, and must have been too good to share, because I wasn't offered a taste. Maybe because this was a business brunch and it might have seemed inappropriate. I can wait until next time. And, there will definitely be a next time for Kerr Street Cafe!

Yelp
I came here for lunch on a weekday and was surprised at how busy it was inside! The interior is beautifully decorated and the energy is loud and lively on a busy day. They were very accommodating with me as I wanted enough space around me to get a bit of work done. The staff were all so friendly. I ordered the vegan brekky sandwich and a oat milk latte! The sandwich was tasty, I loved the beet hummus as it had such a nice flavour. I found that it was heavily topped with cilantro and dill though, so if you're not a fan of those I'd suggest to pick it off or ask them to exclude it. The bread is the really toasted crunchy kind - which I know some people love and some don't haha. The latte was great! Overall, beautiful atmosphere. I'd come back to try some more of their menu!

Yelp
I have always wanted to come here but they were only doing takeout during most of the pandemic so I'm really happy to see them opening up for brunch again. I visited a long time ago but really liked their menu. They don't do reservations so be ready to wait in line if you're planning to come during the weekends as they get BUSY! We sat outside initially but there were a lot of wasps on the patio and our server was nice to offer us a seat inside as she mentioned it might be a better idea if we planned to order the pancakes or mimosas, which was super nice of her. The drinks and food came out promptly and the presentation was absolutely stunning for the pancakes. We got three different things to try. Breakfast sandwich: 4/5 Typical sandwich. It tasted good but nothing really special, i do have to note that i really liked the tomato jam which had a spicy tang to it. Smaller than i thought. Side bacon had more oil than expected. Avocado toast: 4.5/5 Beautiful presentation. The pomegranate and sweet potatoes really bulked it up. Even though it was just a piece of toast, it's BIG and filly. The pomegranates gave it a sweet taste and really complimented the avocado. Staxx: 5/5 Presentation 10/10, taste was amazing. It's pretty big not gonna lie, we could finish it even though we all took bites of it. The blueberry jam wasn't too too sweet which i liked. The scoop of whipped butter i believe was amazing with the pancakes. The pancakes taste a little like blueberry scones but soft. Interesting taste, but a good kind of interesting. Would definitely get it again. Overall: Good food and good experience. Wish the breakfast sandwich was a little bigger but it was pretty cheap in comparison to others. Or have a side (side salad or fruit bowl) with the breakfast sandwich and up the price a little? At times, felt rushed by waitress, but she was nice, just asked for the bill as soon as we were done so that hiked down the rating a little. I understand though that it's a busy restaurant and they needed to turn tables but it was a Thursday and didn't look too too busy outside. Would definitely come back and try the burger because that looks pretty amazing.

Yelp
Great food & service. I ordered breakfast with yummy smoked salmon & my friends both had the burger & fries. Plus mimosas. Everyone happy. Only one word of warning: when full, this place is noisy.

Yelp
Fantastic food, high quality ingredients, friendly and efficient service with great ambiance. I would go every morning if I could.

Peter G.

Yelp
Went there for brunch on Sunday. Food is excellent. Pricey. 3 pancakes $22. Ouevos Rancheros $19. There are no refills on the coffee $3.50 which can make brunch prohibitively expensive. Want hot sauce for your ouevos, that'll be a buck. Loved the food, hated the nickle and diming. Will we go back? 50/50.

R3120c C.

Yelp
I love this place but won't return because of no reservation policy. It's very demeaning to make people wait in line.

Deepak K.

Yelp
Great food . Nice views and friendly staff. No reservations but staff makes sure that u get a table soon

Yelp
We got takeout brunch as the weather was rainy and closed the patio. We tried the pulled pork benny and the lemon ricotta pancakes. Both were absolutely delicious. The pulled pork was so tender, the eggs were perfectly cooked, and the breakfast potatoes were to die for. I do wish there was a bit more sauce on the benny though. The lemon ricotta pancakes were on a whole nother level with the high fluffy pancakes smothered in blueberry compote, and big is enough to be share if you have a small appetite. Now that indoor dining is opening back up, we're definitely looking forward to dine in brunch!

Yelp
Glad to be back to this old neighborhood favourite! Came here for Sunday brunch with my hubby and MIL around noon. We had to wait for about 20 minutes for a table inside, which I thought was quite reasonable given the crowd waiting for a table. It's probably my 3rd visit but I found the service to be improved from my past visits so I was pleasantly surprised. That will definitely have me coming back sooner than before! They are able to fit quite a large amount of people in the dining room but at least around the tables in the middle of the room, I did not feel crowded in. Two of us got the cornbread Benny's and one of us got the French toast. Definitely the french toast was the absolute winner here. The mascarpone whipped cream was not too sweet but provided the perfect balance. The lemon curd on the plate was sweet and tangy but again not too sweet!! I Will definitely be getting that next time My benny was more than satisfactory as well, the cornbread was not dry at all and very soft and easy to chew. Next time I will ask for a bit more hollandaise sauce. One of my eggs was a true soft poach and the other was medium. The chai latte was absolutely delicious and I finished it maybe in 3 gulps lol.

Yelp
One of the best spots I have found for breakfast in a really long time. Let's start with the OJ....best OJ I have found in Canada and I have lived here for 4 years. So fresh and cold. My mocha was was really good...not the BEST ever but really nice. I had the rancheros and you can't get closer to breakfast nachos than this! Rancheros is one of my favorite breakfast dishes and they nail it. He ordered the Kerr breakfast with salmon which was the perfect amount of everything that is not looking for a breakfast that is going to weight you down. Highly recommend and will return.

Yelp
Wow wow wow!!I went here on a weekday brunch and this place actually had a Sunday brunch vibe going. This place was packed and that sure spoke volumes even before I got seated. You walk in and in a minute or two you are seated. There are so many servers walking around order placing is another quick process. So obviously knowing myself I love to order a variety of dishes especially if the place is this highly rated.I knew exactly what I wanted. My order was a frenchie and smoked salmon and egg muffin. Both came out in timely manner and were absolutely delish. The banana raspberry French toast was absolutely divine a little crisp on the outside and so moist and flavorful on the inside and the banana compote on the side was so delicious.Maybe next time I may just ask for a drizzle of maple syrup on it, I like my f-toast on the sweeter side. This dish is definitely a must when visiting this cafe. My other order was a egg muffin with salmon. The english muffin was perfect toasted and the egg was cooked to perfection, with crispy edges.Salmon was generously used and was loaded with sweet and spicy red peppers and micro greens. The place itself has such a big city vibe with outs of people brunching on a weekday.I'm glad I made it to this place and now it's definitely my favorite in Oakville. There's plenty of street parking in the area. The decor is very modern and contemporary.

Yelp
Outstanding smoked salmon florentine benedict with great friendly service, and not too crazy on the prices. Their patio is nice and cute too

Yelp
Favorite pancake spot! Food, service, and ambiance love it! Their pancakes are my favorite but other items on the menu are great too.

Yelp
I stopped into this cafe with Jesse after we finished the manic chaos of Corbett nearby. It's a cute cafe, parking is in a nearby lot, cost to park. When we arrive we are advised of a 20min wait and it's cold so we opt to wait. There are these basic seats along the window to wait. In 10min a table for two opens up. I should mention in the dead of winter, door opening can make a place cold. This place does not have a double door which could help reduce the heat loss, what they use are long curtains. They somewhat help but still chilly by the door. We order our drinks, him a latte and me a cortado. My cortado was okay, it was a bit acidic with an expected kick of an expresso. I might order a flat white here next time, maybe. The coffees are served with beautiful decorative finishes, a demonstration of controlled foaming and artistic ability. This is a place you can have a conversation or sitting in bliss silence with background inspirational sounds. The server was very nice and attentive and mindful to keep guest moving. It's definitely a cute gem cafe. Looking forward to the opportunity to return. :) PS they are sustainable here. Table cream is served in little metal container, not the easy convenient tablespoon cream in mixed plastic, paper and wax. It's great to see this! Charming, so charming.

Yelp
This place rocks! I live in New Jersey, but come to Toronto a few times a year and I've been to this place twice now and I wish I had one of these in New Jersey! Great cozy environment with great service and phenomenal food ! I highly recommend this if your near Oakville ON!!

Yelp
Excellent trendy place with great food and service. The ambiance is great. It's very popular for a reason(s).

Yelp
Service and environment was excellent. Cafe is a great spot for a brunch date or a family meal. At peak hours it does get super busy but they're very accommodating. Give the restaurant a heads up if you're coming with a big group so they can make arrangements. In terms of food, I ate the smash burger which was pretty decent but the meat pattie got a little hard pretty fast. I've had better burgers before but I think they're more well known for their breakfast items. All in a great experience overall.

Yelp
Saturday Morning Brunch at this cute cafe @kerrstreetcafe in oakville, ON. Just a 20 mins drive from mississauga, we decided to give this place a try after reading some great reviews on yelp. We ordered a chai latte and a regular latte both of which were nice and light, didn't make us feel bloated unlike any other place. Then came our order, eggs Florentine with smoked salmon, my absolute favorite followed by the French toast with fruits and cream and it was delicious. Honestly I like my brunch to be eggs and avocados and smoked salmon with veggies more over pancakes or french toast. But if you are someone who likes a sweet delicious breakfast by all means go for it. Overall food and service were great and would definitely recommend this place for a nice brunch. Yelp
we drove out here from north york to get some hot, fresh & delicious breakfast! a bit of a wait on the weekends (45-60 minutes) but it retty good! matcha latte 5/5 very matcha-y & frothy! mmm so delicious. i dont like sweets, so im glad sugar comes on the side at the table. truffle fries 5/5 hot crispy fries with grated parmesan cheese and truffle flavoured oil. it was delicious! eggs florentine 4/5 the buttery biscuits were abit burnt (hidden under the eggs) but their hollandaise sauce was rich, eggs poached perfectly on a bed of spinnach. served with a mixed greens & balsamic dressing. pulled pork & waffles 4/5 sweet pulled pork piled high on 2 pieces of housemade waffles. though i wish the waffles were a bit crispy outside like last time. the saucy pulled pork made the soft waffles get soggy quick, but everything still tasted good! avocado toast 4/5 generously loaded with fresh avocado smashed and diced yams, red peppers and pomegranate seeds. i think its sprinkled with some cajun & spices too. great flavours but the bread was a bit hard, like stale hard. thank you for a hearty brunch kerr street cafe!

Jennifer R.

Yelp
Best flat white ever. The coffee is excellent. The brunch was fantastic. We tried cornbread Florentina, which surprised me as the bread was so fresh and moist. We also tried the Kerr Breakfast, perfect balance! I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
We were saved by this place on a cold winter day while passing through Oakville. It was busy even though everyone was back to work after the holidays. Its high ceilings and huge windows light up the restaurant's modern decor and make it a very inviting place to dine for brunch. They have an extensive espresso bar which adds to the charm of the restaurant. The restaurant has a mix of 2-4 seater tables with some long dining tables so you may end up sitting next to a stranger. We ended up a long table next to people that we didn't know but it was spaced out adequately so that it wasn't awkward or squishy. We were told to hang tight for a table since they were full up by the host. Another couple walked in and they were greeted by a different staff member who was going to show them to their seats. Luckily the host swooped in to fix this. A pair had just vacated one of the long tables which he missed, so he apologized and we were seated immediately. To warm up, I ordered a matcha latte. It was not sweetened so I was able to control my sweetness level. For my main I ordered the braised beef benedict. This was one of the tastiest and most well executed benedicts I've ever had. The benedict is tender and flavourful braised beef on top of a wonderfully poached egg, pickled cabbage, and a jalapeno biscuit, covered with hollandaise and garnished with a jalapeno slice. The acidity from the pickled cabbage made sure that I wasn't overwhelmed with the richness of the sauce and the heartiness of the beef. I want the yolk of my poached egg to have the consistency of molten lava and this one was absolutely perfect for me. It had a lovely flow when cut into and it wasn't so raw that it flooded the plate...I find that a lot of restaurants have a hard time doing this. The biscuit was also an upgrade from your average english muffin and helped elevate this flavour profile just a little bit more. The benedict came with a small side salad and the dressing was slightly tangy which was very well thought out with the luxurious benedict. Our waiter was attentive and checked on us a few times. She left us with a bottle of water that we could refill ourselves and offered to get us more when we were running low. When we were ready to check out, she was over with the machine and had us on our way in no time. A lovely restaurant that I would highly recommend.

Diana J.

Yelp
Great food but they don't take reservations so the wait time is long if you have a party over 4 people.

Yelp
One place I visited with some friends a while back is in the Kerr Village area of Oakville. This quaint commercial area includes great restaurants like Kerr Street Cafe. Lineups are fairly long and no reservations allowed, but it's worth it. Just the interior itself is worth the visit. High ceilings and neutral pastel walls makes for a bright and cheerful atmosphere. Beef Brisket Benny which they sadly do not have anymore. But they still have amazing other dishes I wanna try one day. I would definitely recommend going on a weekday if you can to at avoid the weekend crowd, and on weekends I would definitely try to go earlier.

Yelp
Super cute and chic cafe in oakville. If you're looking for good food and great coffee and a place to just sit back and take your time, this is the place for you. With its super laid back vibe, it's almost hard to forget how busy this place gets during lunch time. You are not rushed whatsoever, food is tasty and service is good. Kerr st Cafe is definitely an oakville go to amongst the locals. The menu is small but quite creative. I definitely will be going back to try some more.

Yelp
What a great find. For an old strip mall, I would have never guessed that is has such a bright and pretty place with some seriously good coffee coming out of it. Call me surprised but also call me whenever you're going here cause I want to join in. Kerr Street is definitely the place for lunch. When I walked in, I expected it to be empty but at least 20% of the table was already taken at 11 am. By noon, its was fairly full. Looking at all the tables, I can see why... all of the plates looked very good and the cups of coffee coming out from the barista, love it. This is the stuff I would expect from Toronto... not the suburbs. I just need to write about the coffee in one paragraph. I love how they're using a local Oakville Roasters called Brothers. I saw them at the Beanstock festival and had I known how good they were, I would have definitely tried their coffee (even though I was already heavily caffeinated). The coffee was rich, robust, and very friendly... not too bitter and definitely had a chocolate note to it. Highly drinkable and delicious. The best part, the barista really knew what a flat white was ANNND the latte art was beautiful! Yeah... I'm so happy for this that I'm rating the coffee before I even finish my usual review of service and place first. 5/5 for the suburbs (but it's really a 4.5/5 for Toronto but still absolutely love it). The place is quite big as it takes up 2 stores from the looks of the ceiling. You have a bar area where you can do take out and a large communal table. Then you have the dining spot where most people sat. It was well spaced out so it wasn't cramped and there was a lot of wonderful light. It reminds me of a really nice curated picture of a white washed rustic but clearly upscale cottage. Warm and homey. Service here... is probably one of the weaker points but not because they're rude. It's just incredibly relaxed and possibly unaware. So if you're here for a quick lunch during the work day... maybe not the best. But if you're to do a lazy day brunch or lunch with the girls, this would be a great spot. We did have one young guy who was really good and attentive but he disappeared after 20 minutes and only the ladies took over the staffing. They were kind... just not attentive. Ayurveda Bowl (vegan) - a great option for those who want a healthy brunch or lunch without just having a simple romaine caesar salad. I liked how it has a variety of chopped vegetables that kept it interesting. Tender peas, cubed cucumber, diced tomatoes, fine pieces of red onions, and asparagus are all found in the bowl along side a light saffron rice and a curry tumeric dressing. I found the dressing to be on the light side but it's a nice creamt texture. 4/5 Banana Raspberry French Toast - WOW... ok. you have my attention. A large plate of 4 thick pieces of french toast landed on our table and it was just a sight. The french toast was doubled up to sandwich rich sweet banana that are custard like. The bread is a tender butter brioche that soaked up all the custard and the kitchen perfectly seared the sides to give it a crispy and caramelized edge. The addition of the almond butter creme fraiche was delicious excess and reason to wipe the plate clean. Extra crispy banana pieces and sweet nutty pieces are just fun to scoop up with the French Toast. I love how they used dehydrated raspberries to add a vivid red shade to the dish while adding a nice tart burst to each bite. Definitely a top 5 French Toast in all of Toronto. 5/5 French Fries - Oh, these were claimed to be great by the staff. Uh unfortunately not. Though they were the prefect colour of the well done bronze, these were somehow limp, soft and soggy. I was really disappointed as the entire bowl was like this. I was hoping even one to be crunchy but nothing... we didnt even finish half the bowl and the staff didnt notice. 3/5 Flat White - What another surprise. Not only was Brother Beans delicious, they have a barista that knows how to do good pours and really good flat white. I think this might be the first time I've found in in GTA. My flat white had a great light topping of microfoam with the right balance of milk to espresso. It was enough to allow the bold espresso flavour to be prominent but still allow the milk to mellow out any sharp edges. From ordering the 2nd flat white (yea I liked it that much), I can safely say the beans is a nice robust rich flavour without any harsh acidity. It's great to see a local good roasters in the GTA West. I'll come back just for a cup. 4.5-5/5 Overall, this is a solid place for food and drinks ... there are some real highlights coming out of the barista and kitchen. With some service and dish tweaking, this would be one of the best brunch spots I could recommend of out all GTA.

Yelp
Tasty, healthy and good quality food. Went on a Friday for brunch and it was just so packed. If you're looking for quiet this is not it but it does speak to its popularity. No matter what you will love their filling meals.

Yelp
My day in Oakville kicked off at Kerr Street Cafe. On this nice sunny Tuesday, Kerr Street Cafe was surprisingly busy. Maybe all these people were enjoying the end of Summer just like us. Brunch is serves everyday here... good for people like us that works weekend. Cappuccino jump started my day, while I leisurely waiting for my Egg Benedict ($11.99) to arrive. It was good breakfast/brunch but when I told my Yelp Friend the price, he started rolling his eyes. Eggs were poached perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was tangy with a hint of lemon.... Checking in with my Yelp apps and uploading photos with their Free Wifi, just ask for the password... Every day of the week, one can have their brunch fix at Kerr Street Cafe without waiting for the weekends to come!

Yelp
Thursday was my 1st visit here. I read the Yelp reviews looking for a nice non-chain breakfast spot where I could have a nice long chat with a friend over good food and great coffee. I was not disappointed. The staff were great - knowledgeable and very polite. Service was fast and the coffee wonderful. One of the other reviews had said their coffee tasted burnt but it was a great medium-dark roast. Loved it. And the food! Very generous portions. A few reviews had recommended the Eggs Florentine and it was every bit as good as they said. Prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity delivered. The ambiance was really pleasant. Sat inside but would definitely do the patio on a good day. We had no problem carrying on a conversation without having to raise voices. (Might be a bit louder at the weekend.) Definitely will be a regular haunt! Kudos!

Yelp
Kerr Street Cafe has just become one of my favourite brunch places anywhere. In addition to the amazing food, the interior is gorgeous, and everything screamed brunch about this place. The interior is classical, timeless, and clean. There's a ton of plants every where and the entire place feels organic. We came here for a weekend brunch and didn't have to wait too long as we came after the initial rush. We ordered the ricotta pancakes, and the eggs Florentine. The first you notice about the food is how clean everything looks and it tastes like that. There's a certain cleanliness to the food, it's light and it's devoid of excessive grease. There's a finesse to the food here and it's quality. The pancakes were some of the most fluffiest I've had. The rosemary custard was creamy without being overly sweet and blueberry sauce was just the perfect tartness and sweetness! The edible flowers were a nice touch as well and added a further lightness to the dish. The eggs Florentine was absolutely perfect. The balance was done just right. The egg was perfectly runny yet firm. The main star was the jalapeno biscuit which added just the perfect amount of salt and butter taste. The citrus and the creaminess from the Hollandaise brings it all together. The greens were a nice touch and were nice and sweet! All this made for an extremely pleasant meal and one of my favourite brunch experiences. They are also into sustainable eating and dining which is awesome!

Yelp
The restaurant has a bright and airy feel perfect for a sunny Sunday morning. This place is always busy on the weekends during breakfast and lunch time. They also have a walk in counter for coffees/teas. The menu is simple; I didn't see anything that was very unique here. But, nonetheless the ingredients were fresh. Portion sizes are lacking though so don't come here if you have a huge appetite. I deducted the first star since I thought the prices were very high for what you get in terms of portion sizes. Especially when you compare prices to neighbouring restaurants (Stoney's is comparable in price but the food and portions sizes are better) where you'll have better menu options. The second star was deducted because I felt that the menu was bland and limited. There were less than half a dozen dishes to choose from during breakfast. The food wasn't memorable and there was nothing on the menu that would compel me to come back if it were for the food alone. Overall, Kerr Street Cafe offers a pleasant vibe where I would enjoy a coffee/tea, but only after I grab food from one of the many other restaurants along Kerr Street. Side note: this would be a great place for a coffee date.

Yelp
Very pleasant experience overall. If you go before nine, you avoid the rush hour and you can bring your little one without hesitation since the early morning hours are more suitable for children. After nine o'clock it gets very busy and a bit hectic although it still is an organized place. The staff is friendly and well informed. The menu is small which shows that they are serious about what they are serving. I don't trust restaurants with huge menus to prepare everything perfectly. I've pretty much tried everything on their menu and nothing had disappointed me so far. They have options for vegans and meat lovers as well as kids portions. The room is very cute and cozy. The coffees are just the way they should be. Side items are a bit overpriced but the total package seem to be worth it.

Yelp
I always come here mainly for the pancakes but decided to try the avocado toast as well this time. Ok, I must say, there were WAY TOO MANY sweet potatoes/squash on top I could barely taste the avocados!!! (And pomegranate which did not compliment the avo at ALL) They only put super thin layer of the avo and threw a heavy load of squash so all you taste is the half cooked squash....and it's $15... $15 BUCKS GUYS COME ON!!! Also asked for 2 eggs which they forgot. (Later Came on separate plate. Plane. No salt pepper nothing.) I love the atmosphere here and still love their pancake (they used to put edible flowers on top but not anymore) However, I think they need to rethink their menu and stop being so cheap with the ingredients despite the hefty price tag. You can't fool us!!!

Yelp
My sister loves this place so we took a relative visiting from the Philippines. Place is nice and the staff were also very nice. I ordered a coffee which came lukewarm but they changed it immediately to a hot when i asked. We had the breakfast burger with fresh cut fries which is absolutely delicious. Fish tacos were also good. I got the ricotta pancakes which were also yummy. We will go back here to eat again for sure. The only reason i gave it a 3 star because i ate 1.5 out of 3 pancakes and asked for the rest to go. The server took the plate away so we thought she was going to pack it but it never came back. All that was brought out was the pie we had ordered for take out.

Yelp
Quaint little cafe great setting. Drinks have lots of options in the coffees and lattes. Good selection of dishes. They don't take reservations so be ready to wait. Will continue to return.
