Kerry Hotel

"How did it strike you on arrival?Sitting along the harbor front of Hung Hom in western Kowloon, the Kerry Hotel graces an overlooked area of the city—a former part of Victoria Harbor before the land completed reclamation seven years ago. Award-winning architect Andre Fu designed it to be a hub of leisure and business travel, which explains its 546 rooms, four restaurants and bars, and the largest assortment of meeting and event spaces in Hong Kong. Nice. What’s the crowd like? Thanks to its sheer scale and brand-new facilities (designed by award-winning architect Andre Fu, no less), the hotel lures business travelers and families—curious to explore the Hung Hom district, where a new MTR Station recently opened. The good stuff: Tell us about your room.More than 60 percent of the hotel rooms face the harbor—the rest overlook Kowloon and the mountain ridges of the New Territories. In the 420-square-foot Deluxe Sea View guests will find a contemporary room decked out in soft blues, grays, and warm wood accents. Out the full-size window, guests will not only enjoy glorious views of Victoria Harbour but will also get a peek of the manicured gardens, outdoor pool, and inviting terrace restaurants below. We’re craving some deep, restorative sleep. They got us?A king-size bed with a feather duvet and mattress topper will make it easy to fall asleep... but hard to get up in the morning. How about the little things, like mini bar, or shower goodies. Any of that find its way into your suitcase? The rooms at Kerry Hotel come full of surprises, from the complimentary mini bar to a Handy smartphone (loaded up with data and an electronic concierge services app), complimentary on-demand movies and Nespresso machine. Please tell us the bathroom won’t let us down.Sporting warm neutral hues and soft lighting, the marble bathrooms include a walk-in rain shower and separate tub. Maybe the most important topic of all: Wi-Fi. What’s the word?Knowing business guests desire free Wi-Fi, the Kerry Hotel has answered the call with a strong signal across the property—even at the perimeter before entrance—and no password required. Room service: Worth it?When the elegant trolley rolls up to your door, you will be pleased with the professional presentation. On the menu? A selection of the restaurants’ best dishes, including everything from breakfast fare to Asian noodles, steaks, and kids’ menus. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whether it’s childcare, gyms, spas, even parking—whatever stuck with you.The wellness center has something for everyone—a 25-meter outdoor heated pool with Victoria Harbour views, a 24-hour gym, and a spa. There’s also Big Bay Cafe for international dishes, Hung Tong for contemporary Chinese, Dockyard for an international food hall experience, and a spacious lobby lounge for locally inspired small bites and afternoon tea. Remote workers will gravitate to Kafnu, on the second floor, a community space that provides hot desks, meeting rooms, on-demand meals (and complimentary snacks and beers), and a slew of business services. If you’re still working come evening, ask about the secret whisky bar in the back. What was most memorable—or heartbreaking—about your stay?Though the new metro stop makes this Hung Hom address easier to access, it still feels a world away from Central—for better or worse. But the trek is worth it: Once you’ve arrived, the views, gardens, terraces and spacious rooms will make you happy you broke out of downtown. We particularly loved our drinks at Red Sugar and could have sat on the terrace all day long, admiring the harbor view. Bottom line: worth it, and why?If you’re planning a business trip or simply looking for a luxury hotel with ample outdoor space in crowded Hong Kong, this is your best bet." - Kate Springer

Great experience - large room sizes, good service, sumptuous and good variety of breakfast. We also good pretty solid corporate rates and they provided a complimentary additional bed, which made our stay ultra comfortable. The only thing that would have made it perfect is location. In itself, location isn’t bad - close to Whampoa station (4-5 min walk) and harbour facing. However it takes a tad longer to go anywhere especially by public transportation compared to Central or Tsim Tsa Shui.

Kerry Hotel Hong Kong exceeded all my expectations. The rooms are very spacious and extremely comfortable, which already makes a big difference in Hong Kong. Make sure to book a sea view room — you get both the water and the Hong Kong Island skyline and it’s honestly one of the best views I’ve had so far. The pool has probably one of the best views in the city, overlooking the Hong Kong Island skyline, and the rooftop bar Red Sugar is amazing, especially at sunset. My favorite rooftop in HK! The spa was incredibly relaxing and the gym is excellent, with a huge choice of equipment, plus steam room and jacuzzi — really worth it. On top of that, the breakfast at Big Bay Café is exceptional. I’ve never seen such a wide choice — it’s a whole experience on its own. I would 100% stay here again.

I have been staying at the Kerry Hotel for 3 years for my business trips. The service has always been consistently excellent. From the moment I arrive at the hotel entrance, the staff are there to welcome me and help with my luggage. All front desk staff are efficient, pleasant and respectful. ||With regards to the rooms, the rooms are always clean especially the bathroom. Amenities are great as well. ||At the Big Bay coffeeshop, all attendants (reception, waiters, cooks and other service staff) are polite and very attentive. Food is always good and fresh. ||I also appreciate the floral arrangements and other decorations in the lobby which add to the nice hotel ambience/atmosphere.||Lastly, when I requested for a late checkout , an hour extension , the hotel staff accommodated my request... She was very considerate. I just failed to ask her name so I can properly thank her.

Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong (香港嘉里酒店) is a wonderful place to stay if you want comfort, space, and a more relaxing hotel atmosphere in the city. The lobby is impressive—bright, stylish, and welcoming, with a premium feel the moment you walk in. The hotel is also conveniently close to Tsim Sha Tsui, making it easy to access shopping, dining, and sightseeing around Kowloon. One thing to note is that it’s a bit of a walk to Whampoa MTR station, so it’s more convenient to take a taxi or use a car when you’re heading out—especially if you’re carrying bags or coming back late. That said, the trade-off is absolutely worth it: the hotel feels spacious and calm compared to many other Hong Kong hotels, with plenty of room to breathe. Service is excellent throughout the stay—professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The rooms are also a highlight: comfortable, well-designed, and very relaxing, making it easy to unwind after a busy day in Hong Kong. Overall, Kerry Hotel is a great choice for travelers who want great rooms, top-notch service, and a spacious, upscale experience while still being close to the Tsim Sha Tsui area.

Stayed here for 4 nights in December since I heard so many amazing things about this place.||||Started off with a very rude lady at check in when we just arrived to Hong Kong. Since we had 2 adult and 1 child staying in one room, we asked if there’s going to be an extra bed since the website we booked from said there’s an extra bed possible. Initially she said no, no such thing, then when I showed her the website, she said it’s extra charge. Then she changed her mind again and said okay, it’s free since you’re only staying a few nights. Bad way to start off my stay here.||||Aside from the customer service, the hotel itself is not well maintained. You can see and smell how the building is dated and the rooms looks good in photo but not in person. Even the towels look pretty old.||||The house keeping staff were all very nice and provided items we requested. When we extended our stay for a few nights, the front staff Kirin was very helpful and friendly, which made the whole experience much better. The staff by the car drop off zone was also very helpful and nice. The pool was nice and had a great view.||||Overall, it’s not a 5 star hotel experience as they said they are. The customer service is not consistent. The room views are nice, but aside from that, I can’t say anything else that made the experience extraordinary.

We stayed at the Kerry Hotel in November for 10 nights. The hotel facilities were excellent. Our room had a great view of the Harbour, which was wonderful to watch at all times of the day. ||While the location is a bit away from Tsim Sha Tsui, we enjoyed the walk Later we realised that we were next to 2 ferries to Hong Kong island, above a bus station and close to a metro station so getting around Hong Kong was very easy and quick using public transport.||We stayed in a club room so we mainly used the club facilities. The breakfast choices were very good and we eat very well. The sandwiched and cakes for afternoon tea varied and were very tasty. In the evening canapes and wine was available. The club room staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. The manager, Tiger in particular, really looked after the people in the club room, the rest of the team followed his leadership. The view of the harbour was excellent and if we had not had a harbour view room we would have sat there more watching the harbour.||We also ate in the Red Sugar bar and again had excellent service. Sitting outside watching some of the light show on a warm evening was very pleasant.

Google
We found all staff to be extremely polite and helpful and very visible. As we stayed in a Club room we mostly used those facilities and have nothing but good to say about them. In particular the Club staff were exceptional, Tiger was very impressive- one of the best F&B professionals we have come across, and Florence was delightful.

We had an excellent stay over 10 nights at the Kerry Hotel. We stayed in a Club room which had great views of the Harbour. The club staff were excellent and the food was great. My partner had a birthday during our stay. It was a very nice surprise to find a small birthday cake and birthday card from the Hotel in our room when we came back from our days sightseeing.

Yelp
I stayed at the Kerry two Novembers ago and spent Thanksgiving in Hong Kong. It was a great experience and it has been on my list of hotels to repeat. At the time of my stay, Kerry Hotel was still the new kid on the block, very recently built (2017) and managed by Shangri-La hotels. So technically, you can say they were a spanking new hotel with a few businesses set to open in early 2019 like a barbershop and a few other restaurants. BTW, if you're reading this review, I'm very positive those businesses have their doors open and running by now =) During my stay there was a full service spa, bar, restaurant and room service available. We didn't take advantage of the dining but definitely scheduled a spa day with all the walking around in HK! The spa was 5 stars! Kerry is located right at the water front, their heated infinity pool, GORGEOUS GYM, event spaces, and a great amount of rooms face the harbor, offering an impressive view of the HK skyline. Kerry is located on the Kowloon side and very close to 2 MTR stations which are both walking distance within 5 mins. And when you're in HK, you don't need a car, MTR and Uber is the way to do it. It might be good to know, if you're taking the train from the airport, Kerry do offer a shuttle service at the hub for transferring between the airport train to the MTR (please forgive me I forgot the name of the station). Since the hotel was newly built, everything is in pristine condition. Kerry Hotel is one of those fancy, luxury hotels so do expect to pay a pretty penny. The rooms are huge! Easily 400sqft for a standard room. Very detailed, clean with an awesome bathroom and soaking tub. The staff is really courteous, friendly and great to interact with. Overall, my stay and experience with Kerry Hotel was 5 stars all across and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Yelp
Very nicely designed hotel; slightly overcrowded but the rooms are very comfy and there is a marvellous oceanfront pool: you can swim and relax and do not hear the traffic! (Quite rare for a HK-pool!)

Yelp
Beautiful and very new hotel with an amazing view of Central Hong Kong from a very nice quiet bar on the 7th floor. Inside and outside space in a setting right on the water. Just keep an eye on time if you are trying to get to central... it can take up to 45min to cross the bay by taxi! :-)

Yelp
Amazing hotel! The rooms are spacious, clean, bright with floor to ceiling windows and fantastic views. Super helpful when fighting jet lag. There are several food and beverage options on site along with great outdoor space and large lobby coffee bar perfect for impromptu business meetings. Fitness center is large with great selection of equipment. Hotel is located on the water with easy access to running route. Staff is friendly and efficient. Team members with various language skills available to assist and ensure you feel comfortable. This is a fantastic property!

Yelp
Spectacular hotel with astoundingly helpful and friendly staff. Great views of Harbour, warm large infinity pool, outstanding multicultural adjoining food court, 7th floor outdoor terrace bar. Concierge went far beyond call of dory to find shoe store for me because I wear unusual size and needed shoes immediately for a wedding. Then helped find a missing cell phone. I would give them six stars if I could!
