Google
It is definitely one of the best spots to get an amazing view of the skyline and more. One should also walk up to the end of the road if you are around sunset time to view one of those awesome seattle sunsets. Don't expect the park to be like any other big parks.. it's just a small place on the side of the street with a few benches.

William Case

Google
This is a tiny park known for the fantastic view of downtown Seattle. It's a romantic stop after dinner for a sunset kiss. It's very popular for wedding pictures. This is a great spot to take out-of-towners. It's the best view of Seattle!

Google
Kerry Park has a really good view of Seattle with the Space Needle. Small but cute green roadside park with benches. It also has a lemonade stand by some kids when I was there.

Anthony Herrera

Google
If you’re in Seattle and want a once in a lifetime picture of Seattle, this is the place. Make sure you google the weather and the Sunset for the day you want to visit. For my experience there was no overcast and sunset was at 9pm. Arrive 30 min early and have a good camera! You will get amazing views!

Bernard Jeremy

Google
Iconic for a good reason. Amazing views. Parking is hit or miss but we got lucky and got a spot right in front of the park without much issue. Area is VERY hilly though so some of those streets may be tricky to drive on if you’re not used to it. Worth it though!

Google
If you want the best view of the Seattle skyline, Kerry Park is the place to go! Don't waste the chance by going up the Space Needle—once you're up there, you can’t even see the Space Needle itself, which is the most iconic part of Seattle’s skyline. From Kerry Park, you’ll get a complete, breathtaking view of the city, Elliott Bay, and even Mount Rainier on a clear day. The best part? It’s absolutely free! It’s about a 30-minute walk from the Space Needle, but be prepared—it’s an uphill walk that will definitely help you burn some calories. Also, since it’s located in a residential area, it’s best to be respectful and keep noise to a minimum. Highly recommend this spot if you want those postcard-worthy Seattle views!

Google
Great little neighborhood park with amazing views! Finding street parking wasn't too much of a hassle, and although there were others there, it didn't feel crowded. People come and go so you'll get a chance to get the perfect picture if you wait long enough.

Gayathri K S

Google
If you need breathtaking, postcard-perfect views of Seattle downtown, the Space Needle front and center, and Mount Rainer looming in the distance on clear days..this is the place! Crowds and limited parking are common problem. Advise visiting early or late to beat the crowd. It truly delivers a magical view of "Emerald City", day or night.

Yelp
Such a hidden gem! The only way we found it was thanks to an uber driver! The most beautiful view of the city. It's much more prettier in person. It would be nice to bring lunch and to relax at. A must goto, it wasn't crowded at all.

Yelp
+ The denizens of the Internet weren't belying. This park really does offer a fantastic view of dt Seattle, including the Space Needle, Mt Rainier, and Puget Sound. Other parks, such as Olympic Structure Park, don't offer a view of all these iconic things in one standard frame. + Free access. - No restrooms or water here. Go before you go! + Decent amount of free public street parking. + Many people here.

Yelp
After grabbing lunch at Veggie Grill in Downtown, my friend took me to Kerry Park. He described the park has postcard worthy views. I didn't know what to expect as I didn't bookmark this park to see on my itinerary. Once we got there, I couldn't stop saying, "Wow!!" and said, it about 20 times. Seattle skyline is remarkable and I just knew I needed to get a picture of myself with that in the background. My friend made a comment about Frasier, but I never saw that show before so I didn't get the reference. I do know that if I saw views like that daily, I wouldn't want to move out of the city either. There were a few benches that were occupied. I love the Seattle skyline!!

Yelp
Come for a phenomenal view of Seattle's skyline. There's a ledge you can sit on and enjoy the sight. Other than the view, there are a few benches, grassy areas, and a sculpture. Below is a playground and field.

Yelp
Absolutely breathtaking any time of year, any type of weather. Say hello to a wide panoramic view of Seattle - including the needle and Mt. Rainier. I am so grateful parks (viewpoint?) like this exist. :) They really highlight the beauty of our city. There are a few benches here to chill at too if you want to sit and take it all in. Here's a perfect Seattle morning: Getting brunch at a spot nearby Queen Anne and wandering down and enjoy the views at Kerry park.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is breathtaking! My photo doesn't justify how pretty the city really is! Glad my husband found this place and took me there! He has an interest in photography, so it was the perfect spot for him to enjoy the 20-minute mini-deep-dive session. While he was doing that, I had a moment to close my eyes and enjoy the breeze. I went there in May and the weather was beautiful! A bit cooler and stronger wind towards the end when the sun was almost all set. Be sure to bring a jacket just in case!
google avatar

Yelp
A small so called "park" in a residential area with street parking that shows the Seattle skyline with the space needle in view. Came for a quick photo and left, as it should be the only purpose of visiting.

Yelp
Check out the good views of Seattle from this park that's always got photographers and other influencers. It seems to be the best spot to see the city skyline including the Space Needle. Kerry Park can get crazy busy at times. Always seems like there's some event going on here. This is a popular place for things like wedding photos and that kind of stuff other people pretend to care about it seems. A kind of hard place to get to with a lot of walking up stairs and crap. It's located on Queen Anne Hill. This is considered the best place to get views of the city skyline. Also you can see the natural beauty. This offers good looks at Elliott Bay and Mount Rainier. All this here and the park is only an acre. Before getting to it there's a playground. The stairs lead up to a platform with a few benches where you can look out and sit. A sculpture by Doris Totten Chase is at the center. Changing Form is a simple looking but classic structure. An interesting history. It was donated by lumber magnate Albert S. Kerry and his wife Katherine. They lived close to it and thought everyone should get to enjoy the views. For sure a lot of people have seen these even if it wasn't from here. This is a popular spot for television shows and newscasts to film openings. Got to go and check out the city. It's located on West Highland Drive between 2nd Avenue West and 3rd Avenue West on a big ass hill. The climb up is the worst thing about it but it's worth it so whatever.

Yelp
Incredible views. Ample parking and seating. Fun place to catch the skyline and take pics and just hang out especially on a clear day! I enjoyed it here when the sun was poking through.

Yelp
If there's one thing I would recommend to someone who is visiting Seattle for the first time, I would highly recommend Kerry Park. It is a must, IMO. Kerry Park is a small neighborhood park with the best panoramic view of Downtown Seattle and the iconic Space Needle. You get a great vantage point of the city and its surrounding. It's quite peaceful just staring at the scenic view. Parking is available along the street for free. Just be respectful of the neighbors, who allow visitors to check out this spot for free. There are a couple benches to sit on.
google avatar

Angela T.

Yelp
A must do Seattle attraction. Lots of people walking around but it's very picture friendly :) also, a great view of the space needle
google avatar

Terri C.

Yelp
This is one of the best spots we've found for terrific views of Seattle. It's very popular, but we usually find street parking right away. On a clear day, you can see Mount Rainier. Enjoy the priceless scenery for free!
google avatar

Raymond L.

Yelp
I'm not a big sightseer but friends brought me up to Kerry park to view the city lights and a view of the space needle. It was a nice view and with a very calm evening, I guess it was worth the trip. To top it off, a view of a partial autumn moon was also clearly in the sky.
google avatar

Wendy R.

Yelp
Skip the Space Needle and come to Kerry Park!! Or both..but tbh I liked my experience better at this park and the view a lot more than at the Space Needle. The pictures and videos speak for themselves :') The park is so beautiful, it's not big per se, actually more of a small scenic stop, but offered so much beauty! My friends and I stopped for to-go coffee before coming here and spent quality time sitting on the ledge and admiring Seattle. This part of town is very elevated allowing for the skyline view. It had rained that morning and by the time we got there the sun had come out and we even got to see a rainbow!! Such a lovely experience. ¨

Yelp
you can definitely count on Kerry Park if you want an overview of Seattle and of course the City Skyline. It was my first stop when I landed in Seattle. It is a beautiful small park and there are parings available on the street. the weather was windy and gloomy when I visited but I still loved it. I would consider coming back in the summer time.
google avatar

Mei T.

Yelp
This park has such a beautiful view of the city, Mount Rainier covered in snow, and the Space Needle. The view was spectacular, and the best thing was "it's free!" There's a cool sculpture where you could climb on--a great photo op! On the side of the park is a path that takes you to a mini playground for the kids. We enjoyed the view and took some nice photos. Definitely check out this park!

Yelp

Yelp
The view speaks for itself! I can only imagine what it looks like at night when the skies are clear. I was passing through and took a moment to soak up the sun and enjoyed the view on a lovely sunny day. I recommend adding this to your list of places to visit while in Seattle!
google avatar

Nelly M.

Yelp
One of my favorite sport in town! A great place for gatherings and pickinks. Specially summer time, we get together for all sorts of events and activities. Nice place for a get-together!
google avatar

Jennifer N.

Yelp
Nice view of the Seattle skyline. You can see the Space Needle and Lake Union. My kids enjoyed the playground. There's no parking lot, you just park along the neighborhood.
google avatar

Holley Janae P.

Yelp
Kerry Park is a great place to see the Seattle skyline. Although the hike to the top of the park is steep, we enjoyed the exercise. It was well worth it for the lovely view of the ocean, space needle, and buildings sweeping across the horizon. Definitely a fun and free stop to make on your trip to the city of Seattle.

Yelp
Kerry Park was on every "must-see" list I read before visiting Seattle so I had to see it for myself! It's known for providing an absolutely breathtaking view of Seattle's skyline, and for being the perfect spot for capturing the perfect Instagram-worthy photos. In addition to the great views and Instagram-worthy aesthetics, Kerry Park's well-maintained greenery and cozy benches create a serene atmosphere, making it an ideal place for a leisurely stroll with a friend or a peaceful moment of reflection by yourself. All in all, the "must-see" lists I read were not lying about how awesome Kerry Park is. Whether you're a local looking for a quiet escape or a visitor wanting to soak in the beauty of Seattle and get a pic for the gram, Kerry Park is a must-visit destination that consistently delivers an amazing view of the city.
google avatar

Mimi N.

Yelp
If anyone is visiting Seattle for the first time, this is always the go to spot that I recommend to friends and family. For the iconic sweeping views of Seattle, with the Space Needle and the lovely waters, Kerry Park will satisfy all those requirements. In recent years, this place has definitely grown in popularity, so do expect a hoard of tourists and locals alike at this spot. I do recommend coming here at least sunset or night time for the city glow. Parking is super limited so if you're visiting town, try to Uber or bus here and avoid the hectic ness :)
google avatar

Diana C.

Yelp
Great views of the city and skyline! Small grassy area with benches to sit and enjoy the view. Mostly a viewpoint though if you're looking for larger green spaces. Also very popular and crowded year round if it's not raining. Would definitely recommend though!
google avatar

Emily T.

Yelp
One of my favorite parks if you're looking for gorgeous views in Seattle! When it's busy, parking can be a little difficult to find. We parked on the street and walked towards the park. I've been during both daytime and nighttime and if you want to see the skyline all lit up, come at night! Lots of folks come here to take photos and enjoy the view.
google avatar

Babette C.

Yelp
This is the location to go if you need a photo of you in front of the Seattle skyline with the Sky Needle in the shot. Took my mom and aunties up here to take some shots and it was really endearing to see those weak, elderly ladies smile and joke as they took photos with each other, hugging and laughing as they posed near the statue and in front of the view. It's a pretty good place for a quick walk if your puppy needs to relieve itself (please be responsible and pick up after your pooch) and there's always a couple of spots freeing up just as you pull up for easy parking and a quick photo.
google avatar

Courtney O.

Yelp
Kerry Park has the best view of Seattle! Every time I come here, I feel like I'm living out my grey's anatomy dreams. The park is perfection because of the view you get of the Seattle skyline including the space needle. The park is easily accessible and free. It's not a large park, but there are plenty of spots to get the perfect view. I would highly recommend visiting the park by car. I've walked to the park before but because it's located up a hill, it's quite the work out! Seattle is a great city and taking in the views at Kerry Park remind you of that. I do think it's worth taking a trip to come here to see this view.
google avatar

Matty E.

Yelp
Gorgeous lookout of the Seattle skyline -- great for a photo-op. We parked a few blocks away on a side street, no issue finding a spot.
google avatar

Jan D.

Yelp
Kerry Park is very small and always full with people. The view is definitely amazing though. I feel bad for everyone who lives in the area as it can be quite hectic for all when they have to find parking or have people over. The noise as well. 4 stars for a beautiful view of the city.
google avatar

Kim R.

Yelp
My picture doesn't do it justice, but the view from here was breathtaking. Absolutely amazing! I'm sure it's even more beautiful on a clear, sunny day. Stop by here if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed!!
google avatar

Carrie M.

Yelp
The views of the Seattle skyline are really beautiful and clear here. This very small park is located in a neighbourhood and has a great view of the Space Needle. The lower section has a playground for kids.
google avatar

Ana T.

Yelp
Very cool viewpoint to check out, but come early to find parking in the neighborhood. The streets are very small and tight so it's not too easy to get around. It's a great view to see, but the mountain is very faint that I barely noticed it.
google avatar

Jeremy T.

Yelp
I didn't read the reviews before coming here, so I didn't know what to expect. After coming here, I'm glad I didn't spend the money to go up to the space needle. I actually ended up visiting this destination last on my mini trip to Seattle, but it turned out to be a really nice day, not crowded, and good way to kill 20-30 minutes. Unfortunately, it wasn't a perfect day...it was partly cloudy, so I couldn't see Mt. Rainer. I visited on a Sunday morning and easily found parking right in front. I didn't really spend too much time walking around the entire park, but it's reqlly just a mini park on a hillside, and you park along the top. There is artwork in the center and a viewing area with rails. They have 1 small telescope for magnified viewing for 50 cents. Come here for great views of downtown!!
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
There's a reason this place has 1,000+ reviews!!! There's nothing like that Seattle skyline view. Yes, your legs will fee a bit like jello! That hill is no joke, but then you reach this little oasis, where the city skyline peaks above the lush greenery of the park below. You'll see the buildings and Space Needle shrouded in golden light and reflect on how cool this city really is! Then you just have to try taking the baby steps back down the hill (for real feels like the momentum will get the better of you here).
google avatar

Renee S.

Yelp
Kerry Park is a delightful place to take in the popular city view. Living in the area, I often work it into my walk and notice that parking can sometimes get bogged down right in front of the park, but if you go a bit further there are plenty of spaces just one to two blocks up in front of the homes. On the right side edge of the lookout there are stairs which go down to the next street. I think the stairs are a great place to view the skyline and snap some pictures without anyone in front of you. If you go down the stairs, there is a playground at the base, which is very nice for kiddos to burn off some energy. Diagonal from that playground is another lookout point where you have yet another view of the city which is delightful and less visited.
google avatar

PatrickJ T.

Yelp
Popular place in Seattle to watch a beautiful sunset. Better get here early so you can find street parking close by. Otherwise, you will not be able to see the sunset from the park. Well, we did not arrive early enough to find close parking in the neighborhood. Still, we all needed the exercise so the walk was welcoming to most of us. The evening we came, the sky was quite clear. We got an excellent view of the beautiful sunset. As a bonus, we also got fabulous views of the downtown Seattle skyline, Space Needle, and Mount Ranier. Great Photo Opp destination!
google avatar

Mel N.

Yelp
This is the most amazing view of Seattle from this location! Postcard perfect! My kids have been here before so they told me about it. I felt so strongly about it that I rented a car right at the airport to come here, and I'm glad I did! It's a very small park, but worth the long uphill drive parking was available, but be careful during busy days. Try to avoid coming early in the morning or late in the afternoon when people are trying to get back to their houses!
google avatar

Marcus S.

Yelp
Sitting atop of Queen Anne is Kerry Park. Photo op Hotspot of Seattle. You can see right into downtown, across the water and beyond. The park sits in the middle of a neighborhood street and as you come upon it is an overlook with a well known - terrific view of the city. Many tourists and locals a like will be present as was so on this visit. You may have to hang around a bit to line up your perfect photo shot. There is a playground and some open field space for youngsters or your dog friend to run around that sit below the overlook with steps leading up and down to it. On the clearest of days you should be able to see A complete view that envelops downtown Seattle, Elliott Bay, the West Seattle promontory, Bainbridge Island, and Mount Rainier all together. Coming to Seattle, this is likely one of the places you'll take a visitor or suggest to them.
google avatar

Harry S.

Yelp
Kerry Park does not need any introduction. It is THE place for the quintessential Seattle view of the Space Needle and Mount Rainier. All Seattle landscape photographers end up here at some point of their photography career or hobby, capturing this view in various light conditions, sprinkled with festive fireworks, and/or decoratively smudged with spooktacular fog or dramatic clouds. This almost cliche-like view never gets old and continues to attract locals and tourists alike on a daily basis. Sharing my takes of this Seattle view taken over the past few years under different conditions.
google avatar

Iris C.

Yelp
Here the views! We walked away with a a squinty sunny selfie here in the afternoon because it was super sunny, haha. This was filled with people even on a weekday but understandable. It really has a great view of Seattle- I think even better at sunset which is past 7 pm. Still glad we made it here. I think we would have stayed longer if we weren't in a time crunch to catch other stops along the way. This is a beautiful free view of the city skyline.
google avatar

Mark T.

Yelp
Here's what you need to do: Prep: Find a clear, sunny day. Brace yourself for crowds of people taking photos like it's the Eiffel Tower. Step 1: find a friend or stranger with halfway decent photography skills. iPhone's portrait mode will probably work fine; you don't need a fancy camera (though it wouldn't hurt). Step 2: Take photos with a quintessential Seattle view in the background. Step 3: Update *all* your social media and dating apps with the new picture. Step 4: Let the torrent of likes and matches come in* ~~~ Jokes aside, this is where you would see *the* skyline view of Seattle, including the water and Mt. Rainier if it's a clear weather day, and it's great for photos or just a great view. It is also free and doesn't close at night. While it is officially called a park, it is about 600 sqft of land on an elevation. A place to stop, take in the view, and maybe come back once in the evening or night. Seeing how expansive the view is and that it is free, I can say Kerry Park exceeded my expectations enough to earn the fifth star! * Results not guaranteed

Yelp
What's there to say that hasn't been said in 900+ reviews? Kerry Park is definitely a spot to come for iconic Seattle skyline views, but I wouldn't say it's a spot to come and spend a lot of time. The park itself is rather small, and obviously a touristy attraction, so you can usually count on it to be busy. Parking is street parking only. The couple of times I have been here, I haven't had trouble snagging a spot (and more often than not, it's free). If you're travelling to Seattle and want to see amazing views of downtown Seattle complete with Mount Rainier and the Space Needle, Kerry Park is the spot to be. On a clear day, the view is gorgeous during the day and night! TLDR; do it for the 'gram, but don't expect to be here for hours. Still worth it!
google avatar

Yelp
Searching for the best view of downtown Seattle with the perfect photo op? THIS IS YOUR PLACE! Itching to see a mixture of massive classic/modern homes with lush yards that create the scene out of a Nancy Meyer's set? THIS IS YOUR PLACE! Interested in learning about history of the area while roaming the greens and art sculpture? THIS IS YOUR PLACE! This small park was described as a "must see" for my husband and I on our recent trip to Seattle, and now I totally see why! The views are absolutely stunning, and the overlook provides a 180-degree view of the cityscape, harbor and Mt. Rainier! These photos don't do justice! Definitely worth a stop when in and around the Seattle area!
google avatar

Harlee S.

Yelp
Finally made it around to Kerry Park this visit! There's little to no parking. It's pretty much down to side streets and walking. The views of Seattle are awesome. However, the crowds are a bit much. It was crazy busy and definitely touristy. I prefer quieter, local spots, but I can see why Kerry Park is so popular. I wouldn't say this is a must to visit, but if you want a great view of Seattle, this is the spot.
google avatar

Olivia S.

Yelp
Beautiful views!! In the hilly city of Seattle it can be hard to find a simple view of the city with nice seating day and night! Came here on a hot day and there were a few other people at the small park. A lot of people taking photos with the city scape behind them. We were lucky enough to be at the park when the K9 groups were taking their dog pictures which was very sweet to see, it's clear that the community surrounding the park comes to this park to walk their dogs. Love this stop on your drive.
google avatar

Hannah M.

Yelp
Great views, pretty large crowd on the weekends. Best to go on a weekday in the evenings.
google avatar

Hannah A.

Yelp
Amazing view. Wasn't too busy. Clean park area. Would recommend to anyone looking for nice scenery.
google avatar

Annie Y.

Yelp
It's a beautiful view once you reach the top. They do have some seating available where you can just sit and enjoy the view. The street hill is very steep, so if you're planning on walking, wear comfortable shoes. I found a Lime scooter and rode it up the hill. They do have plenty of bikes/scooters laying around the city, so I'd suggest using it going up. I spent about $6.00 for the ride. Then took the transit back to the city (~$3.00). Tip(s): - Wear comfortable shoes or ride a Lime bike/scooter to go up to the top (it's a steep hill)

Yelp
Small park with amazing views - well worth a 10 minute stop for some photos of the iconic skyline and out across the water.
