My wife and I stayed at Key West bed and breakfast in May 2025. This is a beautiful building, which is kept spotlessly clean. It is in a quiet part of town and only a 10 minute walk from the centre of Key West, making it an ideal location.|The staff are very helpful and attentive. I made some enquiries about parking prior to arriving, as on street parking is limited. They were able to advise me of a couple of locations. I used Key West parking lot after dropping my bags off. This is a short distance away and you pay cash for each night you park, which at the time of writing was $15 a night, so take some cash if using this facility.|I wouldn't hesitate returning to this property if I'm ever fortunate enough to return to Key West.

My husband and I have stayed at KWBB numerous times and always so enjoyed it. We went in February 2025 and that will be our last stay. The house was the same, but the cozy, charming feeling was totally gone. The only time we saw a host was when we had to go next door to check in. There was really no conversing with anyone while we were there. The previous host always made us feel at home and was always so helpful and she always greeted us with a smile and fun conversation. This time it was cold and very uninviting. We loved staying here and will truly miss it, but will find other accommodations.

Loved this place! Great location as you can walk to everything very easily. In KW a car is a huge handicap and not needed. The B&B has bycicles you can use, or rent a golf cart or scooter for fun. But by walking you will see all the beautiful lushness of KW. Home was built in 1800's. Expect creaky floors and shared bathrooms; which btw was never an issue. There are 2 on 2nd floor where our room was located. I never had to wait so don't let that scare you. House is beautifully decorated (has a weaving loom of all things) with lush garden and lots of nooks and crannies to sit and relax. Beds and pillows were super comfortable and breakfast is lite with boiled eggs, yogurt, granola (key lime was fab), fresh fruit and the best bagels and homemade bread. At night the kitchen is yours for making coffee or tea. The hostess, Bella, was amazing and only focused on making our stay perfect. She did an excellent job at that, and is a very impressive young woman.

A truly beautiful hotel, full of charming corners and special touches. Our stay was magical and romantic from start to finish — the perfect way to experience Key West for the first time. Thank you for the unforgettable memories!

The air conditioning units had not been maintained properly and smelt terribly - the vents were dirty with mould/dust. The room itself was mouldy and the bathroom needed updating (the washbasin had a big crack in it). The road immediately outside the room was being dug up which meant it was very very noisy duing the day and it was impossible to sleep at night because of the noise from the metal plates left to cover up holes in the road - it soudned like gunshot every time a car drove over them. We left one night early and asked for a refund for that night but are still waiting for a reply - booking.com offered us USD 79 in compensation which is laughable, Key West BandB have refused to engage so I'm ou tof pocket for the night we left early.

I had an amazing stay! The location is perfect - it's close to a lot of attractions in the area. Bella was super friendly and helpful and she gave great recommendations for some local restaurants and things to do. Breakfast at the B&B was really great. The shared bathrooms were never an issue, and my room was just perfect! Very comfy bed and nice cold AC. I would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed in a top floor room (TFB) which was a lovely room. |First thing to say is that we stopped at a couple of corporate hotels on the way down to Key West and neither were as good as the Key West B&B. Room was bigger, aircon was better, service was more personal. It won hands down against the others!|Breakfast was lovely as it was more in line with our European tastes. |We had access to the pool next door at the sister hotel which was clean and quiet.|The place is really well situated, close to both the historic seaport and also Duvall street. |Would definitely recommend this if you are fed up with corporate hotels!

This is our fifth visit to the Key West B and B. The location is excellent, very clean and well decorated.|However, since it’s corporate take over there have been significant changes. It has become more like a rooming house than a b and b. The host was no where to be seen the entire time. She apparently works both next door as well as the Key West B&B, and stays next door unless called.||The breakfast appeared not made or prepared in the kitchen. The person who put the food out barely cracked a smile. Coffee was supposedly available in the living room at 6AM yet there were no grounds there or instructions on how to find and prepare the coffee. ||What once was an inviting place to visit has now lost most of its charm. We miss that and therefore will not be back.

Yelp
This B & B is unique and was a great experience. It was also the best "customer service" ever. Charles and Bella are the extra star, both are warm and welcoming, the bit of the extra that makes a place special. The B & B is in old town, but close to Duvall St. And walkable to all the tourist attractions. The beautiful old house keeps its history, but is clean and cared for with interesting art and color. There is access to a garden area and a small pool as well. The light breakfast is lovely and filling. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Yelp
Lost track of times and years we've stayed here but still a fan favorite! Can't beat the location, rooms are cool and clean, breakfast hits the spot, and there's always a friendly face to greet you. Still figuring out a plan for long term residency in this town, but in the meantime, KWBB is always our go to.

Yelp
This place was a little slice of heaven right in the middle of all the fun things you can do. We'd literally parked our car on Friday and didn't see it again until Monday because we were able to walk anywhere we wanted to go! The interior was very large and clean. We even had our own kitchen. The only downfall would be their small pool which seemed suspiciously cloudy for me to go in. Oh no, I would definitely go back and stay here again. Did I mention that we had our own patio with our own hot tub? It was spoiling hot when we went so a hot dog didn't seem.. appealing to me. I would definitely go back and stay here again.

Just checked out of The Key West Bed and Breakfast and all I can say is wow! Nice job by Liz and her staff. They worked tirelessly to make our stay amazing. Beautiful property. Great breakfast. Lots of nooks to hang out and catch a breeze. We staying i. The top floor room of n the back side. It has a great little sitting area. Wonderful place to have a cup of coffee and watch sunrise each morning. Thanks again for a great trip.

Yelp
This is my favorite place to stay in Key West, and I like to go every year. Key West is certainly a town that is like no other, and I never tire of it, and that goes for KWB&B too. Liz is so friendly and accommodating, and always has updated recommendations for restaurant options and Happy hour deals. The place is very artsy, full of artwork everywhere and each room is uniquely decorated. The breakfast always includes the freshest fruit display, oranges with a press to squeeze fresh, bagels and cream cheese and preserves, a a different quick bread daily. The refrigerator can be used by guests, so I usually bring a protein like ham, cheese, or lox for my bagel since I don't do well with all carbs for breakfast. There are bicycles to rent on premise too at a lower cost than you can get anywhere. All the rooms have names, and some of private baths and shared. The front porch has rockers and the upstairs balcony has a hammock. Love this place, and it is the most reasonably priced b&b in town by far.

Yelp
Absolute gem! I'm a bit late on our review but, life. Lol. My boyfriend and I had a family adventure planned for Sunday & Monday elsewhere but decided to treat ourselves to a mini "baecae" if you will, for Saturday. I found this quaint looking place thru TripAdvisor and it called me lol. I had a few questions before booking online so I decided to call directly and the this lovely lady picked up and asked me to call right back because she was checking someone out...no problem. I called back right away and she remembered my name after mentioning it only the one time (which is great) and was very helpful in answering all my questions. She made me feel very confident in my choice to rent with their little b&b. I immediately rented for the night in this little cute 1 bedroom that had a balcony and all. When we arrived I called her to inquire about parking and she did a wonderful job in guiding as where I can park. When coming back around to look nearby we noticed a beautiful lady standing outside who happened to be the one I was talking to over the phone. She was nice enough to come out & show us where parking was best for us. We got lucky & she found one for us right in front of the b&b. We finally arrived and were told to come on in when we get our things out the car. Once in she was nice enough to show us to our room right away to allow us to settle in and told us to come down when we have refreshed and she would be giving us all the information that we need. We did so and came back down. First of all, the whole place is so amazingly gorgeous! The decor is unique, the colors, so pretty. Just all around "homey" feels with the welcoming we received. She went into major details of everything and anything we could possibly need for a night out. She suggested a few restaurants close by, she suggested good drinking spots as well, lol and ALL walking distance. She even gave us a map with all the suggestions she gave us. She made us feel so welcomed that it was absolutely perfect! Our room was so perfect for a couple who is wanting to relax and enjoy each others time. We had a balcony and the cutesssst little nook that made it all come together. Everything was clean to the tee, nothing to complain about. Everything was walking distance and we didn't have to use the car at all for the amount of time we were there. The only thing we were disappointed about is the fact that we couldn't stay longer. But trust, we will be back and for longer! Thank you, Liz! Xoxo!

Yelp
Love this place. Kara went above and beyond for our stay for our 30th wedding anniversary. We loved this house, loved our room. Having the hostess there and being local you can get the best info and things to do. We rented bikes for a day and had a blast riding around. We were on the 3rd floor and had the floor to ourselves! We plan i. Being back!

Yelp
I love my solo stay at the Key West bed-and-breakfast in February. Liz was so warm and accommodating and she gives you a tour of the house so you know exactly where everything is at, and how everything runs, that way you can make yourself at home. It was lovely to get up in the morning and daydream out the window and watch the palm trees sway. They Have a nice variety of a continental breakfast in the morning. You can come and go as you please you get a key to your room and also a key to the main door. Parking is a little tight in the neighborhood but I got lucky and parked only a block away the first few nights in the last night I was thrilled to find a parking space right in front of the B&B. I Was concerned about sharing a bathroom upstairs but honestly it was cleaner then probably my bathroom at home, I never had to wait and there's actually two available with full showers also.I would definitely stay here again! And i little LuLu the "guard dog"

Yelp
I want to love this place with all my heart; but there is just something a little off about it. It's a great B&B, no doubt about that. Beautiful building, comfortable rooms, the artsy setting and eclectic atmosphere you expect from such places. Wonderfully decorated, delicious homemade breakfast every morning, and a price that is very, very right. Our room, Bella's Room, was $120 for a night in May. I don't have any specific complaints, just the feeling that there was an overall lack of warmth and welcome, possibly because of so many rules (I understand them and why they need to be enforced), I guess it was just the way in which they were presented. I felt like I had to be extremely cautious with everything, somehow. Anyway, I would recommend Key West B&B to anyone looking for good value and location, but I myself wouldn't stay again. For a place that looks so colorful and friendly, it fell short of every really giving me that "make yourself at home" feeling. Still, we were greeted by the most lovely person, Stephanie, who spent 20 minutes with us detailing everything to do in the area, where to eat, and how long of a walk things would be. It was a very nice way to start our short trip. :)

Yelp
This place is darling and super close to everything. They were helpful, kind, curious, and full of information. The ground are beautiful full of plants and a cute pool. My partner and I stayed in the private suite upstairs. We would recommend.

Yelp
I really struggled to decide on a star-rating for this one but ultimately "A-Ok" really summed up our experience. There was a lot of good stuff this B&B had to offer. First and foremost was price which came out to about $145 a night. They were easily one of the least expensive options we found in the area and the location was stellar, we could literally walk everywhere. We booked the last room they had available which was the Pink Room w/ shared bathroom (this was for early Feb). Our bed was super comfy and there were always clean towels and linens. Although the bathrooms were shared we never once had to wait to use one so it was a non-issue. The overall look and vibe of the place was totally charming and the staff truly was fantastic. Now for the drawbacks. *I'm an early riser (around 6 a.m.) but breakfast isn't served here until 8:30. So although breakfast is "included" I still ended up going out and buying coffee and grub elsewhere since 8:30 was too late to wait and most mornings we had stuff planned. I noticed one morning that they actually keep the kitchen door locked until 8:30 so although it is a shared kitchen, you don't really feel very easy-breezy about using it. * One morning my husband was told by one of the ladies who worked there that some other guests had complained about a "raucous noise" the night before and then asked him what time we got in (we were in by 9:30 BTW). Now, she didn't directly blame us at all, but since we were easily the youngest ones there by 20 years we sort of felt chastised. We spent the rest of our trip tip-toeing around in the evening and talking in whispers so as not to inadvertently disturb anyone. This wasn't very "relaxing" and actually just stressed us out through the rest of our stay. *TV's-- Now initially I really loved that the entire place is TV free. However, we were in town during the 2014 Winter Olympics and we REALLY wanted to see the opening ceremonies. Originally we figured we'd just go to a bar to watch them but after spending all day on a fishing boat and sightseeing (in addition to being 5 months pregnant) I really just wanted to mellow out in pj's. So not having the option to watch TV (even in a communal space) was kind of a bummer (NBC wasn't streaming it online either--- We looked). *ART-- Now this last part is me just being nit picky but a lot of the hanging wall art really isn't that good. Don't get me wrong, the decorating and furniture and overall vibe of the place is fabulous and funky but all of the paintings that I saw had a beginners vibe to them and we were actually distracted by how mediocre they were. Some of it was just down right tacky. But artistic taste is all relative so take this last bit with a grain of salt. So like I said, overall our visit was pretty good. Chances are if you like B&B's, you'll love this place. But if we're ever back in the area again we'll most splurge a little more for a room with thick walls a mini-fridge.

Yelp
Wonderful but inexpensive B&B in the heart of Key West. 5 minute walk to Duval St, 15 to the Hemingway House. They serve a simple breakfast of fruits and breads, but wonderfully prepared and fresh. The rooms are nearly 1/2 comparable rates in the area. We are sharing 2 baths between 4 rooms and it's been no problem. Our bed is firm but nice, the room small but clean and nicely appointed. Wonderful art adorns the walls, the backyard is a garden with an unheated but large jacuzzi. Our hostess spent 20 minutes with us explaining the town and things happening. There's a nice hammock on the upstairs patio. The kitchen is open to use for anything but cooking (no microwaves). There is a fantastic seafood shop 1/2 a block away. (Beer drinkers note: the fish store carries a very nice IPA selection at very good prices.)

Yelp
I read a ton of great reviews on Trip Advisor for the Popular House, so we decided to give them a try for our most recent Key West trip. We went the last weekend in July and booked their upstairs queen bedroom (I think it's called the Blue Room). The nightly rate was less than lower quality hotels, so I was pleased but also a little nervous about what to expect. My wife and I had never stayed in a bed & breakfast before; just hotels. So we arrived on a Thursday late afternoon, found a fairly close street parking spot (which is the only parking available), and were greeted by Liz. Let me just say that Liz was FABULOUS. She was very, very friendly, inviting, and knowledgeable about the area. She gave us a little tour of the place and then sat down with us to discuss our interests and recommend places to eat, things to do, etc. We ended up taking some of her suggestions and they were all great (Garbo's for lunch one day, The Porch for some good craft beer with a people-watching view of Duval). Our room was really great, too. The building is very old & historic, so the guest rooms have window A/C units. That was fine with us and it kept the room comfortable enough even in the blazing late July heat. The common areas of the B&B are another story, though. They just leave the windows & doors open and there is no air conditioning. So if you go during a warmer time of the year, plan to dress very light if you want to hang around the B&B. This didn't really matter to us 'cause we were out doing things most of the time. The back deck has a little small "pool", which is just an oversized jacuzzi tub. But they kept it cool and we spent quite a bit of time cooling off in there. The deck just feels really private and isolated from everything outside the walls of the B&B and we loved it out there. They serve a great little breakfast every morning that's included in the rate and was a nice way to start out the day. I squeezed fresh orange juice each morning for my wife and I and enjoyed bagels, different quiches/cobblers/pies/etc. All really tasty. The location is fantastic. It's close enough to walk to the marina area in just a few minutes and only a few minutes more to Duval St. But you're just far enough off of Duval to not be effected by all of the noise and partying all night. I'd have to say the location is about perfect (unless you WANT to be in the thick of the partying atmosphere) Our room had its own private balcony that we sat out on each night and enjoyed the night breeze and sipping some drinks. Just really, really relaxing. I can't say enough good things about this place. The only thing I can see being an issue is if you were staying at the same time as a group of loud partying people. Because there isn't nearly the sound deadening between rooms as newer hotels have. But I don't think this place really caters to younger partiers. Which was fine with us!

Yelp
From the second we parked in front, I never wanted to leave. This place is absolutely perfect and I cannot wait to come back. There are seriously countless similar B&B's on Key West and I'm sure they are all equally pleasant, but I was so happy with this place that I see no need to stay anywhere else next time (and there will be a next time). We were checked in and given a tour and then settled into our upstairs room (we had two bathrooms which we shared with one other room and it wasn't a problem at all throughout our short stay). The inside décor of this place makes you feel like you are in a different country in a different era, and everything was so cozy and magical especially the backyard area and the several patio/porch areas scattered throughout the small property. It was pouring rain when we got in so we just enjoyed ourselves and relaxed and then were given some tips from our check-in lady (sweet as pie) as far as where to go/what to see during our stay and then we were off. They give you a key to your room and to the front door of the house so everything was very safe. The next morning it was raining again so we took our coffee and breakfast (serve yourself style in the kitchen) on our upstairs patio with some of our "roommates" enjoying the rain and the porch swing and the very Key West quiet vibe of the day. We paid $120 + tax (ish)/night for a room with two double beds and it was worth every penny and more. Highly, highly recommended. As far as location goes, it isn't right in the mix of Duvall Street but it is a very short walk to the harbor (great place for happy hour), and still a little bit further to Duvall and everything else. It was quiet while still being close enough to everything else on Key West. Perfection.

Yelp
We enjoyed our time at this sweet B&B! The house is very charming & in a great location too. It was a breeze to walk to tons of things. * We stayed on the first floor in the King bed room. It's across from the check in desk - which was info provided before we booked, so it wasn't a surprise, but it was closer than expected. Would absolutely stay here again but not in the same room - not only for privacy but the higher rooms have private balconies, which would've been worth it in hindsight. * The staff are nice & extremely helpful. Gave great tips on places to check out. * The breakfast was lovely. Thought we might miss having more protein like eggs & meat but it was filling and perfect for vacation.

Yelp
Spent three nights here and can't wait to go back. This is the quintessential b&b - from the charming front porch to the gorgeous breakfast spread to the very warm and welcoming staff. The house itself has so much character (we loved the hammock on the second floor). It's old Key West in the house itself but it's so very clean. It's also the perfect location - in close proximity to Duval (2-3 blocks) and the marina (2-3 blocks). Thanks so much to Liz, who truly went above and beyond in making us feel welcome in the house. We took her up on many of her recommendations and loved every place she suggested. We had the most wonderful time in Key West and much of it had to do with our stay at the Popular House. We would recommend this b&b to anyone who wants to experience Key West the way it's meant to be experienced.

Yelp
What a great experience at this place. Liz and the staff are amazing. Had a chance to meet Jody, the owner, which was very nice. Great customer service from everyone which are there for your every need. This is a quaint little place that has 10 rooms which are exceptionally manicured. Every part of the house is well kept. Will definitely return again and would recommend to anyone looking to switch it up from staying in a major hotel.

Yelp
Beautiful place to stay! The staff was very welcoming and made the place feel like home... except you don't have to do the dishes! HA 10/10 would recommend. We will be back here

Yelp
Simply put, there is no place I would rather stay in all of Key West. This amazing antique house makes the perfect B&B, and it's priced to work with any budget. I will start with this - don't let the shared bathrooms scare you away if all that's left is a room on the second floor. They're kept immaculately clean, and not once during our entire stay did my wife or myself find anyone else in them when we wanted to use them. Aside from being across the hall, they were just as good as a private bath. This was our first visit to Key West, and as such, the staff was more than willing to be our concierge. EVERY SINGLE RECOMMENDATION THEY MADE WAS SPOT ON!!! I cannot stress enough how well they know what's good, what's bad, where to go, and what to do. If you want to plan an itinerary, I reviewed all their recommendations on Yelp, so check out my profile ;-) The staff, overall, were delightful, helpful, and cheerful... they made the stay that much better. The house itself is a late 19th century building, meticulously cared for. The decor and furniture reflects this, and it all culminates as a warm, inviting, and comfortable place to stay. You feel more like you're staying at a friend's house than at a hotel... with free WiFi and your friend's making you breakfast. And a friend's house that's within walkable distance of everything downtown, with bikes to rent if you don't feel like walking! The breakfast is a vast assortment of fruits, drinks, and breads... I describe it as the worlds best continental breakfast. There are no eggs or waffles, but the selection is fresh, delicious, and top quality. The antique OJ juicer they have convinced me to get one on eBay immediately! To sum it up... if you stay anywhere else, you're either stubborn, foolish, or just don't know how to read. Stay at the Key West Bed & Breakfast, there aren't any better options in all of Key West!

Yelp
This place was so charming!! We stayed here for one night and loved it. We got the 3rd floor front facing room, with a private bathroom. Do keep in mind, many rooms share a bathroom, so if that is not your thing, you will want to be sure you book a room with a private bath. The staff here is so, so lovely and helpful and they have the most adorable house dog, Lulu. The included breaKfast in the morning is basic but very good. I did not get to use the pool as we came when the weather was less than stellar. This was such a cozy spot so close to walk to everything, but off the busy, loud main streets. We will definitely stay here again when we come back!

Yelp
We stayed in the TFB (Third Floor Back) room. The bed & pillows were comfortable, the room & bathroom were clean, the day bed was comfy enough for a nap & the balcony had a calming view of roof & treetops. The cool tub (it wasn't heated since it was Sept) was perfect to cool off in on a sweltering day. The staff were so friendly & helpful we felt like we were visiting friends. Location is ideal since it's only half a block from Eaton St Seafood (yummy lobster sandwiches) & only a 10 mins stroll to the wharf. Duval St is only a 15 mins stroll away. So it's away from the noise of Duval but close enough that you can walk back to your room after a night enjoying the activities on Duval. We're definitely staying with them again if we go back to Key West.

Yelp
We just spent 5 wonderful days here! You will not be disappointed in this beautiful and cheery B&B! Lucy and Liz are phenomenal and made us feel so at home! The breakfast in the morning was my favorite part and I just loved how everyone was so friendly and just very "chill." I honestly felt right at home! Love this place and can't wait to return!

Yelp
I am simply not a good enough writer to express how fabulous this B&B is and how amazing and phenomenal the staff is! A quick walk from the hustle of Duval Street on a quiet peaceful street, the B&B itself is absolutely gorgeous. You cannot walk though the door without feeling welcomed and relaxed and will exhale any stress that made it to Key West. The Caribbean inspired decor absolutely lends to the tropical, laid back atmosphere and everything is spotless, bright and clean. We stayed in the "Yellow Room" which has a private bath and balcony over looking the gorgeous and tropical back yard. Mornings bring (complementary) fresh fruit, yummy fresh, homemade muffins, bread or cakes, bagels, toast, and a fabulous cup of coffee (from a previous guest that roasts their own incredible beans). Fill up a plate and a cup and sit at one of the lovely outside deck tables and you are in heaven. As wonderful as the B&B is - the staff is what takes it to the next level. They are warm, funny, engaging, welcoming and happy to offer suggestions for restaurants and attractions worth seeing. Liz and Tippy were especially wonderful - I cannot begin to express how great they made our trip after we had a somewhat disastrous event come upon us. They really helped save our trip and guaranteed I will never stay anywhere but here on (multiple!) return trips. A WONDERFUL place to stay!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I just returned from a lovely getaway in Key West, and I'm so grateful a friend recommended this spot to stay! In possibly the most overpriced island ever, this B and B is very reasonable and most likely the best deal in town. We stayed in the yellow room with had a queen bed, private bathroom, and balcony. The room, and the entire house for that matter, is so lovely and well appointed. A beautiful breakfast spread is offered every morning which includes fruit, bagels, cereal, and baked goods. There's a cute little pool/jacuzzi on site too which is a perfect spot to unwind and chill. The location is pretty ideal, with Duval Street only about a four block walk. But it is far enough away from Duval to still be quiet and peaceful. Everyone we met who worked here was super friendly and helpful. Liz was working the night we checked in and she sat with us and went over a map of Key West and made plenty of great recommendations. I'd recommend this place to anyone planning a getaway and hope to get here again soon!

We stayed at this place based on a yelp review. What a wonderful place to stay on your visit to Key West! Unfortunately, we only got to stay for one day. But next time I go, I'm staying at this B&B for at least 3 days! Previously, none of us had stayed at a bed and breakfast before. The rooms were super comfortable, clean, and unique! Its colonial style and awesome staff give this place 5 stars. You are literally treated like royalty from the time you enter the door. The owners/workers are so hospitable that you feel like you are at home! We wanted to make the best of our one day in Key West, so when we got to the B&B, we rented some of their comfy bikes and rode through key west seeing the sights and beaches. The B&B had recommended we go to Alonzo's Oyster House for happy hour, and we took them up on their advice! We were out and about most of the night, but when we came back, this place was great to get a restful nights sleep. We ate a homemade breakfast in the morning (continental style with papaya, grapefruit, fresh squeezed OJ, bagels, and homemade bread) and left Key West hoping to return again soon. Stay here! You'll love it!

Yelp
Everything is wonderful at Key West Bed & Breakfast. From beginning to end, we were treated great. Thanks, Liz, Bailey, Nancy, and the rest of the staff for making us feel special Jaime and Debbie

Yelp
The other reviewers have summed up this B&B quite nicely, so I'll keep it short and sweet. We were lucky to book the last room (downstairs king) available on Easter weekend (3 nights at $175 per night). The bed in our room was the best I ever slept on. Liz and Lynne are super cool and gave us a bunch of recommendations for food/drink and activities to get the most out of our 3 day stay. Location is super convenient and about a 15 minute walk to the waterfront and Mallory Square. Soaking pool in the backyard is great way to chill and cool off on a hot day. This place has many repeat customers and a rock solid reputation among the locals. It's a great alternative to a chain hotel and definitely worthy of your consideration when planning a trip to Key West.

Yelp
This place was amazing. The staff are welcoming and so sweet. We stayed in the blue room as an upgrade from the yellow room. It felt like staying in a nicer version of my own bedroom. The sheets were wonderful. Our private balcony was beautiful. I wish I could have stayed for a week.

Yelp
My partner and I spent a few wonderful days in this gracious inn last month and had a very pleasant time. The location is perfect! An easy stroll to everything that Key West hast to offer. The Inn was clean and professionally run and maintained. The hosts were warm and welcoming and charming. Very eager to be of help. I would definitely recommend the Kew West Bed and Breakfast.

Yelp
Charming, comfortable, calming, cool, clean, creative and close to old town Key West. I stayed here with my boyfriend in the "Yellow" room and absolutely loved it! The staff was very friendly and informative, especially the house dog Lulu. I would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
My husband and I just spent a wonderful anniversary weekend at the KWBB. We had originally booked with another location on Duval Street but then I came across the KWBB on the internet and was extremely impressed by the reviews. We decided to give our weekend a more romantic feel by staying at a B&B. I'm so glad we changed our reservations and booked with KWBB because we had the most wonderful experience while staying there. The one-to-one attention and care was outstanding. That alone gets it 5 stars. The room we stayed in was extremely clean (which is very important for me) as was the rest of the house. We stayed in the third floor, front room. There was enough privacy as it was on the third floor and has its own bathroom. We could walk to most places and that we did! The atmosphere was so laid back and the house has so much character. I fell in love with it! The breakfast was also a big plus, we loved the fresh cakes they made each day and fresh fruit. Yum! I would definitely return and recommend it to anyone who is traveling to Key West... especially on a couples getaway. TIP: Bring your own toiletries, no shampoo or conditioners here.

Yelp
WoW! What a great place to lay your head!! Super clean, very cozy, the most friendly inn keepers your gonna find. My wife and i only stayed one night, Unfortunately we had other arrangements for the rest of our trip but We will be back. The breakfast was homemade, fresh, tasty and plentiful. Big shout out to Brandon, Jodi and the cool South African chick(sorry I didn't get her name)for being super nice helpful and available. Oh and i don't want to forget the nice woman we met the day before at the best jewelry store in town. If your looking for all the charm old town in the keys has to offer this is it. I didn't take pictures but Yelp already has a bunch check it out for yourself. Trust me.

Yelp
This inn is nothing short of fabulous. Nestled in a lovely, quiet street, although near all the major sites. The hosts and staff are helpful and efficient, all with a smile. The inn itself is very charming, lovingly decorated. A beautiful tropical garden invites everyone to sit for breakfast or relaxation. The breakfast spread was so beautiful, I quickly went in my room to fetch my camera. Bicycles available. Free WiFi. Balconies, impeccably clean. Heaven.

Yelp
Had a wonderful & relaxing time! Liz and her staff were wonderful and made our belated honeymoon a memorable experience. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were great (the baked goods were freshly baked and delicious!) and we enjoyed the hot tub everyday. When we're find ourselves in Key West again we know where we will be staying! Thanks ladies!

Yelp
Can't say much except that everything was pretty much perfect! Check-in, check-out, staff, breakfast, the room, the furniture/bed, the shower -- everything met or exceeded our expectations. Can't beat the location. This is a well-maintained, clean and friendly place to stay. We had the back room on the top floor which has french doors opening onto a small private balcony. An extra couch/bed in the room could easily accommodate 1 big or 2 small children. I also loved the many outdoor places to sit: balconies, porches, the patio. Wish I had been able to try them all!

Yelp
After checking out various hotels and bed and breakfasts, calling around for availability during the popular 4th of July weekend, the Key West Bed and Breakfast stood out as a clear winner. Not only was the woman answering the phones cordial and helpful, but she sounded so welcoming and gracious we couldn't wait to arrive. She informed us that there weren't any televisions in the home, so we wouldn't be disappointed, and told us how to deal with late check-ins, since we were arriving after driving post-work later at night. Immediately we recieved a confirmation email detailing our itinerary and some need-to-know tips along with pictures of our room. We arrived without problem and made our way up to our room (the Blue Room), and were pleasantly surprised by the quaint and charming room with a private bathroom and cozy balcony. While the rest of the house may have had the typical Florida warmth, we turned up our AC and fan and had no problems falling fast asleep. Early the next morning I went down for breakfast and was delighted by the feast of fresh fruits, the sweet homemade coffee cake, and the freshly squeezed orange juice from the very homey kitchen. Warm tile, and colorful ceramics lined the walls, making you feel instantly at home. Met with the friendly Jody and the house mascot, the little puppy that we fell instantly in love with, Goo. Liz helped us to get checked in and we were given a tour of the house. Bright art from local artists lined the walls, and we were shown the common areas, including the living room, a porch upstairs with hammocks, and a backyard patio with a the little jacuzzi. Another perk is that they offered the fridge for you to store your leftovers or groceries. The living room held an array of different hued yarns, a large loom and some comfy sofas for sitting and relaxing. Liz also mentioned that they had magazines, a little library, and newspapers there daily if you want to just read and relax. Although we had been to Key West before Liz still managed to give us some useful recommendations for fresh seafood (Alonzo's for happy hour) and hidden spots worth seeing. Some girls that I met during breakfast mentioned a free pool they were planning to check out too, as per the owners suggestions. The location also was just perfect, about 2 blocks to the great places at the docks, and only about 4 blocks from Duval. Close enough to walk, but far enough that you don't get inundated with noise from rambunctious partiers. Unpretentious, cozy and absolutely lovely. The house and rooms were immaculately clean, the breakfast was a splendid array of delectable choices, and everyone was so kind. They really made us feel like part of the family, we couldn't have been happier with our stay the Key West Bed and Breakfast!

Yelp
This place is very much in tradition of key west, house is beautiful and staff very helpful and friendly.(Liz will chat your ears off if you let her, lol) We may have paid more due to being there for Christmas, we had one room down and one up, both rooms were nice. I don't like to be too critical but we need to be honest here. it is very obvious people come back which is a good thing and maybe not. We paid high rates for a quiet place where we could really relax after a long day at the beach or biking around town before dinner. We could not have naps, even with the air conditioner running the noise in the halls from people chatting right outside our room made it impossible, I asked another guest who was upstairs and they also said it was quite noisy at times. If you don't mind people chatting right outside your room and can still find quiet time with your spouse/partner then its the place for you. One thing in am breakfast consist of fruit and carbs or sugary cakes, no protein, so if your ok with eating fresh bagels & cake go for it. Hate to be Debbie Downer here. Good things, bikes are handy, your location is close to everything, go to smathers beach no one really encouraged us to go, but it was a very nice beach(taco stands there also) the beach is sandy and easy to walk on. State beach is very rocky and hard to go for a swim, rocks are extremely sharp. Go to half shell, good food, affordable compared to other places, also blue heaven is fantastic, you'll wait but the food and staff are amazing. Some people say this place is cheaper then most, this is not entirely correct information. Finally, have a good time, key west is a party town and can be chaotic, enjoy:)

Yelp
Finally getting this written from a trip a couple months ago. Loved this place, 4 of us "girls" on a getaway had the King and Bates rooms on the first floor, it felt like we practically had our own living room and kitchen, it was right around the corner. We had to adjust our reservations twice, due to our needs and they were fabulous about it. Liz checked us in and was very helpful, maps and directions, recommendation on restaurants, they even keep a bottle of aloe lotion in the frig for sunburn. The breakfast - every day there was a different freshly baked item, with a big selection of fruits, bagels, spreads and of course coffee. Worked great carrying it out to the tables by the dip pool. Coffee and breakfast starts at 8:30 and they need the kitchen clear of people for an hour before. I need my early morning coffee so I just had my instant packets and nabbed boiling hot water from the bottled water dispenser before they started, worked fine till I could get the real thing. The rooms - We went in April, so it was warm with more heat in the afternoon. The rooms had AC but not the common rooms - historic, and they make it clear so it's not a surprise but I wondered how comfortable it would be in summer. Beds and sheets very soft and rooms are spacious. The bathrooms clearly on add-ons, well done but be ready for small ones in these rooms anyway. We had our own bathrooms but I peeked in the 2nd floor shared baths and they were clean and well supplied, I would have been fine with those too. All in all, a wonderful stay in an original Conch house, for a very reasonable price.

Yelp
I can't begin to think of enough superlatives to describe our experience. KW B&B is situated on a quiet residential street in old town surrounded by charming period properties. From the moment we arrived we felt as if we were "home" both in terms of the welcome we received from the staff and the wonderful, cozy ambiance. The historic home is magnificently maintained both inside and out, the grounds are impeccably landscaped and the accommodations excellently equipped and very tastefully decorated. Inside - wonderful art and unusual antiques combine to create a unique decor. Outside - a very special tranquil atmosphere and tropical landscaping. There is a great pool and patio area where we spent many lazy days in the sun. A complimentary breakfast of delicious homemade baked goods, gourmet coffee, and fabulously presented fresh fruit is served daily. The staff are simply the best. Everybody is so friendly and cheerful and they can't do enough to make your stay a special and memorable experience. I won't name specific staff as that would be unfair to those I didn't name as every member of staff deserves the highest praise. Finally, a big and heartfelt "thank you" to all the staff for making our stay so special. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
We just returned from Key West B&B last week, and boy did we love it. My pros: 1. The hot tub! We had it to ourselves every night, and it was so secluded and peaceful and a fantastic way to wind down our day. I can't believe more people don't mention the hot tub bc it ended up being one of our favorite things about the house. 2. Our room (the king room on the first floor)-really spacious and excellent with its proximity to the kitchen (and our beloved hot tub). Plenty of space to spread out and one of the comfier beds I've had on vacation. 3. Location. You can't beat the location or the price FOR the location. We walked everywhere, and it was tucked away in a lovely little neighborhood side street. It felt like we could experience a true Key West getaway. 4. It was fantastically quiet. No slamming doors. No elevator racket. No screaming kids. Just the most peaceful and serene setting. My (teensy tiny) cons: 1. We had trouble getting hot showers on 2 out of the 3 days we visited. It was January, and chilly, so it's understandable. We mentioned it to them and they were quick to say it's something they're aware of and that it's hard in the winter to always have hot water. Not a big deal, but something I noted. 2. Parking. I only mention this as a negative bc we felt we'd been led to believe it would be a breeze. Personally, we struggled to find a spot that wasn't a dedicated resident spot, and there wasn't really a place to unload our belongings. My husband ran over his glasses in our fevered attempt to unload and move, which isn't their fault, but it bummed us out and was an unpleasant start to our trip. Just be prepared to spend a little time looking for a place nearby to leave your car. 3. We loved the breakfast that was included every day! I only wish there had been the tiniest bit more variety, as it was very fruit heavy and as non fruit eaters we got a little fatigued of bagels. The coffee was excellent. They have a fridge that you're welcome to store your own food/drinks in should you want to, which we made use of. All in all, I just loved it, and we will absolutely be back if they'll have us!

Yelp
Good times in Key West. My mom and I stayed at the Bella room. Very cute and comfortable. The bathroom sharing was not an issue. The walls are pretty thin and i could hear the neighbour's conversations so if you want more of privacy, I'd recommend the rooms all the way upstairs. The breakfast is nice. The location is very good in my opinion, a block away from the dock. Definitely my go to place when here.

Yelp
We found the Key West Bed & Breakfast (KWBB) on Trip Advisor and we're glad we did! We spent 3 nights in early October and wished we could have stayed longer. Upon arrival we were greeted by Trish. She was very friendly and super helpful. After we got settled, Trish gave us a tour of the property and sat down w/ us for about 45 minutes asking what we wanted to do and what kind of food did we like. She gave us good tips like to avoid Duval Street for dining but enjoy it for people watching, as most Duval St. establishment are more known for drinking, but are required by some local regulation to serve food as well. She also suggested local stores to pick up beer or wine, tour companies for activities and off the beaten path places to get something to eat like BO's fish wagon that was a quirky little place w/ delicious seafood at reasonable prices We stayed in the "Pink" room located on the second floor. The room did not have a private bath & we shared 2 bathrooms with 3 other rooms. This was not a problem as only once were the bathrooms occupied and even at that we only had to wait a few minutes. Some useful info to those looking for a great place to stay: - great attentive staff. They made me feel like home, which is the best compliment I can give. - the house is over 100 years old and has a lot of character and charm. Has nice hardwood floors, is clean, and quaintly decorated with art and the owner's weaving loom. - The bedrooms have A/C, but the common areas in the house do not so it can get pretty stuffy and hot. There are ceiling fans which help a little - Great breakfast w/ fresh squeeze your own OJ, tea, coffee, at least one homemade baked goodie such as fruit crumble, banana or blueberry bread, fresh bagels delivered from a local bakery daily, an assortment of fresh fruit including pineapple, papaya, kiwi, watermelon, cantaloupe, strawberries, plums & apples. - no TV's, but they do have wifi and plenty of reading material - porches w/ hammocks that you can chill out on - only street parking available. The street parking spaces are blocked off in painted rectangles. Make sure you park in spaces with nothing painted on the edge of the space such as "for residents only". We found parking pretty easily, but it is hard to find during peak evening hours, which is why we walked/biked everywhere. - bike rentals for $12 per day or $50 a week. Highly recommend you rent a bike for at least a day and the week if you stay that long. - about 3 blocks away from Duval street towards the Mallory Square end. Nice and quiet, well located even though you do have to trek a little bit to get to places. We really enjoyed are stay here and would highly recommend it!

Yelp
This place was awesome! This is an old house but pleasant, totally worth the rate and the hosts were more than friendly, they really made you feel at home, I would stay here again. Thank you Liz and Jody!!

Yelp
I stayed at Key West B&B for a week during a business trip -- it was fantastic in every way, and so much better than a cookie cutter chain hotel. The house is beautiful, the gardens are lovely, the people are super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was scrumptious and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I stayed on the top floor and it was like being in a tree house -- very quiet and with a view over the rooftops. Plus, it's an easy walk to Duvall St. And every restaurant they recommended was really good (Eaton St. Fish Market, Old Town Bakery, Garbo's Grill, Santiago's Bodega, in case you are wondering).

Yelp
I enjoyed a beautiful stay in Mo's room with my boyfriend and I honestly can't think of one thing I'd change about the experience! The room was comfortable, the service was great, the jacuzzi was awesome, and the breakfasts were amazing. I only wish we could have spent more time with Goo the dog! Duval street was just a brisk walk away, so we had something to do every night. I can't recommend the Key West Bed and Breakfast more!

Yelp
I stayed at the Key West Bed and Breakfast for five nights and I enjoyed every minute. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. I was a solo traveler and stayed in the "nun's" room which was perfect with it's comfy twin bed. The breakfast was always a great way to start the day, and I appreciated that it went until 10:30am. The staff was always available to give me advice on excursions and Jodi in particular had some wonderful advice. I was also happy to have such a great wifi connection (something I really didn't expect). Jasmine kept my room and the bathroom spotless and the individual ac unit in the room ensured that the room was always a cool retreat after a hot day in town.

Yelp
I told the ladies it would pain me to write this review, only because I love this place so much, I don't want anyone else to know about it!! I have fallen in love with Key West because of this gem, and I would never stay anywhere but Key West B & B. Liz, Lucy, and Sheri are wonderful, accommodating but relaxed while still being professional. This week was my second stay there and I will of course be back because the place feels like home. The breakfast rocks, the house if always sparkling clean, the decor is marvelous and spunky, and you will always find a friend amongst one of the guests. I'm in love with this place.
