Key West Lighthouse Sunset Experience

Old historic lighthouse and keepers house and museum beautifully maintained. Nice grounds and tour guide with facts and stories. You can go to the top of the lighthouse, it has 88 steps but is actually quite easy to climb. There is a fee but well worth it for the view of Key West.

It was great! 88 steps to the top of this narrow wrought iron spiral staircase. Great view. Clean rest rooms and small gift shop. There is a museum as well which was interesting with a/c. The history of the 2 lighthouse keeper's families, who cared for the lighthouse was explained.

Awesome view, excellent preservation of history, great layout of information. Oh, and Bob was a delight.

Very cool place to go. Don’t go if you have a fear of heights, overweight, or bad knees. The only way up is the only way down… spiral stairs. LOTS of stairs. It’s worth the trip and cardio though. The view is spectacular.

We did this as a family to include parents, grandparents, one child 4 years old and another 2 years old. It was an amazing, fun and educational experience. Chaze was an awesome host! We highly recommend for all ages!

Just book it! Treat yourself and your special someone to a really unique Key West experience! You get the lighthouse grounds all to yourself! Check out the history of the lighthouse in the lighthouse keepers house, and the other historical elements. Then snack on wine and a charcuterie board, while you wait for the sun to start setting and then you get 360° view of the island all to yourself for a special sunset Just for you and your loved ones! My girl and I went there for a date, and it was fantastic. Highly recommended.
