Fast, friendly service, cool vibes & great food! So happy we found this place while vacationing in Cape May! Portions are big! Well worth the price. We had chicken tacos and they were so flavorful. We would highly recommend this place!

Consistency great food. Always great service. What you expect in a tourist town. My wife and I always order way too much food every time we are here. You definitely won’t be disappointed if you give this place a try.

We know this little restaurant for many years but never tried it for many reasons. Today we passed by when we were back to the hotel. Why not for a try! We chose the fish taco (single, $8). We were still full after the brunch in Beach shark, otherwise we might also order the pork taco (today’s special).The local Today fish tastes so good (not knowing what kind of fish) with the fresh vegetables and sauce. It’s terrific and juicy! We will definitely come back again and bring friends!

May 2021: amazing menu, incredible taste, bright colorful ambience, friendly staff, side inside is very cozy so plan your order before you enter the place, outdoor seating was very beautiful, but all will be usurped by the taste. Good vegetarian and meat options.

Within walking distance of where we stayed🚶🏽‍♀️, so decided to try it for lunch. Even without Covid-19 restrictions😒, it looks as if it couldn't support dining in. We both got the Caesar salad, Romaine lettuce with cherry tomatoes and parmesan cheese- my husband got the chicken and I topped mine with the catch of the day...payed $30...pretty steep for a bowl of lettuce with protein, in my opinion. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Absolutely delicious!!! I got the special, which was the short rib thai soft taco and have to say - I would drive all the way here from Pa just to have that again!! My dad doesn't even like tacos but took a chance and had the steak tips taco and he loved it!

Key west Tacos has vegetarian options. The taste is good. They server the food in the beautiful garden. We ordered burritos and tacos. The quantity is more then what I expected 👍🏻. Everything in budget. Per head $10- $15. I like to visit this place again.

What a hidden gem! Cozy indoor seating adorned with eclectic and colorful decor of nautical and memorabilia from the Florida Keys. More expansive and covered outdoor seating is available. The chicken taco platter was a hearty sized portion of deliciousness and a great value for the price. The shredded cabbage added crunch and texture complimenting the chicken. The tropical themed music (perhaps a streamed radio station from Key West?) was an additional touch of authenticity. Hit the ATM before venturing out to this cash-only gem between Sunset Beach and downtown Cape May.

CASH ONLY! Tiny little taco shack with lots of outdoor seating, but if you go on a rainy day like we did, there's not much room inside. This is not table service- you order at the counter and sit down, so people don't long, which was good for us because we were waiting for a table. The tacos are double tortilla, so they don't fall apart, and they are PACKED. I ordered the two specials- one shrimp, one chicken. Honestly one would've been enough. The platters come with rice and chips which I was excited about but the rice was bland and the chips were kind of stale-from-a-bag. The tacos were delicious though.

Best fish tacos! First time eating here because we always forget it's cash only. Platters are huge, tried the fish taco platter, islander steak and the classic. Everything was perfect but the fish tacos are the best. Fun al fresco eating area, quick service, lots of people getting takeout. Food was super fresh, great pico. Can't wait to eat here again

This place is a must go to if you are in Cape May. They offer interesting taco options. My favorite part is the local seafood they use and how they make speciality tacos so the menu switches up constantly. Key West offers their own home made sauce which you can try out on their nacho chips offered. I got the Ahi tuna taco which was amazing! There was a good amount of tuna with pineapples in the taco as well. One taco definitely leaves you stuffed!

So tired of trying to eat here when it's always closed during hours that it is supposed to be open. Went Monday at 12:30 when they are supposed to open at 11:30 and not a sign if anyone there. Was told by someone familiar with the situation that there are staffing issues. I get that it's hard to get help but it's an inconvenience when you invite friends to meet you there, park, just to find out it's closed (again). Hoping they can figure things out.

We had a fish taco, pulled pork taco, chicken quesadilla and a nacho supreme. The place is super kitchy & cute with a small indoor section as well as outdoor seating. The staff is pretty friendly as well. The two tacos, although stuffed generously with meat and extras, were both pretty bland. The chicken quesadilla was solid and the nachos was the star of the show. It was tremendous and bursting with flavor and toppings. You can add on proteins for an additional few dollars as well, but honestly you don't even need it. When we go back I'm skipping the trendy named bland tacos and going to the Main event nacho supreme. Let's get ready to savage.

So good. We do take out from Key West Tacos a few times a year. It's really good and convenient. If I remember correctly they're cash only.

They don't answer phone when they are open. You can't get info on the business because they don't update either of their social media platforms, or their website. It's a shame, it was my go to for years! Every time I came down it was a must have. Now it's a can't even get

Love their fish tacos and pulled pork tacos. Comes with chips, too! The price is great too! Only problem is they are sometimes closed when I want my taco. They sometimes change the day that they are closed. So that is confusing!

Great little hidden gem in West Cape May right on the corner of West Perry and Park. The owners are super nice, food is a bit pricey but worth it for the portions and quality!

Small little place in Cape May with Key West vibes. 2 tacos in a platter but they give you an extra shell per taco which acts perfect as another taco that collects all the extras that falls out of the main one. I got the catch of the day tacos, and my boyfriend got the pulled pork ones. Will definitely be back again!

This is my third and final review. I went from a crappy one star review to a five star review in two years time. I think we got them on an off day our first try (re the bowling alley nachos) but now we love them ;)

Got takeout at 1230 PM in august. We were able to order over the phone which was nice. Some nights they only do in person ordering. They said it would be 5-10 minutes and by the time we got there only waited another minute and it was ready. Took our food home as it was a bit hot out and the outdoor seating area was full. The vegetable taco platter was huge and tasty. The single shrimp taco was very full of slaw and the shrimp were well cooked. The pico was my fav part of the tacos; wish there had been a bit more!

J.b.'s Famous Fish Taco nice and authentic. I really enjoy supporting little places when i can. I see this place sell out constantly during the summer months, making it intriguing to try out. I thought my meal was good but nothing extraordinary, the chips were like premium Tostitos and the guacamole was simple with not much flavor to it. My meal was done well, i enjoyed my taco and it was tasty and not fishy whatsoever. A big bonus was that all the ingredients tasted super fresh, but def nothing to write home about overall. Give it a try!

I didn't care for it. Protein on the taco was OK but the rest was a mess. Too many toppings that take away from the protein. There are too many other great lunch places in Cape May.

This place is certainly a gem! I am a local and was looking to grab something quick to eat for lunch with my two kids. We chose to get take out even though it was adorable on the inside and very cute outside. The tacos are huge and super filling. We tried the chicken, tuna, and short rib and they were all absolutely delicious! On top of the great food I would just like to mention every single one of the staff were polite and kind. We will definitely be back!

Limeade is fresh squeezed and delicious. Joe is charming and Justin is hard worker. They make the place fabulous. Their food is divine. Come here for a delicious meal and you won't be sorry. I highly recommended it. Good music playing too.

Why are they closed during the busy season on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday? Makes no sense.

I've been by this place dozens of times. Decided to stop in because I love Mexican food. It was awesome. Very very friendly staff great environment and good food. Highly recommend it!

We ate a couple of tacos and they were very mediocre (and overpriced, paying 18$ for two). The place did not have a bathroom and the waitress told me to go to the corner CVS to use one, it's pretty incredible you can't even wash your hands in a place you typically eat with them. The teenager waitress was very rude to us the two times we asked her questions. Not a great dinner experience.

This small taco stand at the corner may be easy to miss from the road, but you will notice it immediately on a walk through the town. The atmosphere is wonderful with a small indoor dining area and an outside area with large picnic tables under a tarp with fans to keep the air circulating. The food is beyond amazing. The tacos each have 2 tortillas and are filled to the brim with meat, cheese, and vegetables. My nacho plate was enormous, fitting of the "Lots of Nachos" title to the platter. There was a variety of local hot sauces to sample on your tacos. The one hot sauce was good enough that I had to purchase it later from a local shop. The food surpasses anything from any other type of chain restaurant that serves tacos. If you are in the area and are up for a good lunch, please be sure to visit. The food will be worth the price.

A little place serving the best damn seafood tacos I've tasted. I had the ahi tuna taco platter and my wife had the blackened Mahi Mahi (special) taco platter. Love that they play Jimmy Buffet Fun Music. The inside is tiny and cramped, but they have a cute, outside, picnic area to utilize as well. Definitely highly recommend and will be back.

Key West Tacos is a must stop in cape may. The food is so fresh, great ingredients and speciality tacos each day. The portions are large and a fair price for all you get. Outside is first come first serve seating or you can take your food to go and head to the beach!

Take out for 7 ready in 10 minutes. The prices are as reasonable as you can expect at a tourist trap but the quality surpassed my highest expectations. The pulled pork tacos were wonderful, the crab, shrimp and chicken tacos all received high marks. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. This is hardly traditional TexMex so don't expect that; but if you want to try something refreshingly different, head to Key West Tacos.

I have to give them one star because what they are serving are not tacos. If you have had Mexican food from a Mexican restaurant and are expecting to get real Mexican food from this place, try somewhere else.

Since discovering this hidden gem, every time we've gone to Cape May it's a must. Love their fish tacos (grouper, mahi-mahi or tuna), they are the best I've ever had. Overflowing with fresh stuff, and very flavorful. I always need extra napkins after I go there! Their steak tacos are great also. And they have great "small batch" hot sauces on their tables. Nice outdoor space, but not that big, with excellent music filling the air. I shouldn't write such a good review, now I won't be able to find a table when I go there. ;)

Yummy food. Always crowded it is worth the wait the staff was very kind and made sure we got everything we needed. My kids enjoy the tacos and nachos.

After coming to Cape May for years, I finally made it out to Key West Tacos - normally I'm too lazy to leave the beach, so a cloudy day sent me right to get tacos! I tried their fish taco and it was SO GOOD! The chipotle sauce was such a good complement! The tacos were really great sizes and came with chips! I wish there was a salsa bar of some sort to compliment the chips. I love all of the decor and bright colors of the exterior and interiors. It definitely makes it a fun place to sit and eat!

Don't adhere to set hours. Don't close at six when u post open till seven. And cash only.Come to the twenty first century.

Awesome tacos. Portions are pretty large. Had pork and chicken and both excellent. Employees very courteous and helpful. Highly recommend!

These tacos are delicious! The ingredients are very fresh, well-balanced, and delicious. At first glance, it is a little pricey, but a "single" is a taco so large that you can't really close it and comes with two warm, thick tortillas and a generous side of chips. The single taco is more equivalent to an order of two or three tacos. I ordered the Ahi Tuna taco, and the tuna was amazingly fresh and cooked perfectly! The owner was also wonderfully friendly. He saw us on a Wednesday, when they are closed, and honored our six-year-old gift certificate. Definitely recommend trying Key West Tacos!

Hit the spot... but hit the wallet harder. Initially I was shocked by the high prices. For a single (but large) taco it ranges from 6-9 dollars. The platters of 2 tacos are 11.50- 17 dollars. Quite a bit too high. The variety almost seems to drown out while you scramble to find something affordable that you want to eat on the menu. While the food was a bit too pricey, the portions were rather sizable. The two tacos were large (but for 6.50 each they should be) and came with rice and some chips. It was very delicious. And was a good amount of food. My brother even got a box because he couldn't finish his. The guac was 2.50 for a very small Dixie cup sized portion and was not great in flavor. Don't recommend getting it on the side. Outdoor seating was nice. Would potentially go again, only because it's cape may and a great location. Tacos always hit the spot. Just wish they were a little cheaper!

Quaint spot in west Cape May... Bring cash! Delicious and full tacos so you won't leave hungry! My group had the catch of the day and shrimp taco platters which were both fantastic... platters include rice and chips + great hot sauces to choose from at the table. Definitely worth the wait if its busy but there is limited seating. Will certainly be back!

Key west tacos is a gem in cape may!!! The staff is very nice and personable so you can have the best experience. Honestly, 1-2 tacos will get you full and satisfy your taste buds. The tacos also come with some chips so you can scoop the scraps of the taco. This place gives any parents a small reminder that they need to book a trip to key west with the ambience key west tacos provides the minute you walk in!

Hands down the best tacos in cape may county ... my girlfriend who is vegetarian got their vegetarian platter tacos were overflowing with all sorts of veggies ... and the thia shrimp taco was out of this world ... the owner cares and asks how it was witch is rare and means a lot great food, great atmosphere, great customer service 10/10

Awesome food. Freshly cooked. Convenient outdoor seating. I had a bowl and it was delicious. And it was huge!! Both my kids "helped" to finish it. One taco is more than enough for lunch. High quality food for a great price and very friendly help!!

This place is really delicious. I love simplicity of the place. They were fast and friendly and allowed pets on their patio. They had a fresh bowl of water for pets. If your in town on vacation try this place for lunch!

The Tacos are all pretty tasty and affordable. You can have a lunch for 4 and not feel like you've spent to much.

TERRIBLE. The fish tacos were flavorless. The fish was tough. It had no flavor. Very cheap ingredients but way overpriced. The rice tasted like it came out of a box. If you want tacos, you're better off trying local mexican spot.

Three times I've been here and all THREE TIMES they were sold out. It was around 3:30 each time we got there. They claim they close at 9pm on their website. So aggravating. Never coming back.

OK, every single taco tasted amazing (except for the short rib ones, but they were a special; hopefully they can refine that.) Loved the shrimp varieties. Giving 5 stars, because we showed up here at 8pm with exhausted children, and they delivered the food in what felt like a minute or two. Amazing service, friendly staff, delicious food, A+

Great place with excellent food that won't break the bank. We get lunch from here often, and it is consistently great. Most of the platters and bowls can easily be 2 servings. I highly recommend it.

Over priced for basic food. Very underseasoned and very overrated. Stop by if you're looking to waste 40$ on two underwhelming dishes

Ate here yesterday and the tacos and rice platter I had was very bland and average. Last time I was there was 4 year ago and wasn't disappointed.
