Rooms are amazing the front desk employees are very good friendly but the housekeeping is the worst. Housekeeping doesn’t clean properly, the candies from the last guest were still in the room and I requested them to clean the room in 3days stay didn’t do only made the beds. The floors required vacuum that was done. I gave 3 stars for service only for the front desk employees. Location and the view was amazing

The lodge was wonderful with friendly people and close to the convention center and ski fields. Easy walk and easy drive from their car park. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food was good at the Bighorn Restaurant. The space is quiet and clean. The pillows could have been variable with a softer, thinner option. We would definitely plan another trip their very soon!

We have stayed here the last three years for a family ski vacation and loved it. The rooms are nice, the pool and hot tubs are great and the staff also are very friendly. We had a problem with the coffee maker in our room and the staff promptly came and replaced it. We will be back again next year.

Excellent Stay at Keystone Lodge & Spa!||Our stay at the Keystone Lodge & Spa was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The bell staff greeted us warmly, followed by a smooth and friendly check-in at the front desk. Every staff member we encountered, from housekeeping to maintenance, was kind and welcoming.||The hotel's location is perfect—just a short distance from skiing and evening ice skating, making it an ideal spot for a winter getaway. A special highlight was the thoughtful welcome gift for me and my kids. It truly made us feel special, and the chocolates gave my little ones the extra energy to ski for two full days!||I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay in Keystone. We can't wait to return!

The room itself was good, but we were really disappointed that the hot tub and swimming pool were closed for maintenance during our stay. I specifically called the hotel before booking to confirm if the hot tub and pool would be available, and I was told they were fully functional. That was the main reason I chose this hotel.I feel misled, and honestly, it was a waste of money given that the main amenities we were looking forward to were unavailable.

We go to Keystone once a year and we always stay at the Keystone Lodge and Spa. Keystone Lodge and Spa is close to the ski slopes and you can catch a bus right to the slopes if you don't want to park there. The Lodge is clean, bright, and feels like a 5 star hotel. The restaurant is 5 star too. ||||The staff is wonderful from the Front desk to housekeeping. We love how we can bring our dogs and get a room that opens to the outside to let the dogs out to potty and play. They also gave us a little toy and treat upon arrival for the pups. ||||We love the cafe in the morning for some great coffee and pastries.||||There is a great hiking area (beautiful Trail) right out side the back of the Lodge. The heated pool is so fun especially if it is snowing. And you can get extra warm in one of the 2 Hot Tubs. One Hot Tub is out side and one inside. ||||If you are looking for a Spa day the Spa and staff is amazing too.||||Nini Koch, (Lead Front Desk Agent) is amazing. She makes you feel at home as soon as you walk in the doors. She helps to accommodate anyway she can like when she helped us with a early check in when we arrived early on 2/10/2025. She is always warm and friendly. She always greets us when we come back in from Skiing and always acknowledges us as we leave the Lodge for our fun filled day. She is very attentive and her Customer Service is a 10 or in my option 100 :) ||||Thank you again for an amazing stay and we will see you next year. ||||Sincerely, ||Zac, Brenda, Sammi, (Josie & Louie pups)

Have stayed here multiple times on my summit county snowboard trips. Whether it’s with family or solo trip, Keystone lodge and spa is a great spot with great value. Only about 20 mins from Breckenridge is a nice perk also. Parking is provided on site and is a short few minute drive to free parking on the slopes. They also provide a shuttle to the slopes if you don’t want to drive. All in all, you can’t beat the value here for what you get.

Hotel does not have AC. I would not recommend staying during the summer months. Our room was 80° when we arrived. Open windows and box fans were the only provided solution, which were not effective to cool the room.

Yelp
Great place! Staff was wonderful. Location is fantastic. Restaurants are good! That's

Yelp
This is the first time we stayed at the Keystone lodge and we were so pleased... It's really nice that the parking lot has a tunnel so that we don't have to cross the highway to get to the lodge .., there is also an option to have valet, but we decided not to pay for valet for only one night. The staff at the front desk and the concierge staff that took us all around were absolutely absolutely wonderful. They were extremely professional, kind, helpful and well informed and were able to make excellent recommendations for places for us to eat in the village. There is a wonderful swimming, pool and hot tub that are both available inside and outside to even talk to a great fitness center. We had a wonderful view from our room and the beds were super comfortable. We also had a very nice deck that overlooked the mountain and the outdoor hot tub/pool. We werent able to enjoy the deck mostly because it was just so cold in December but thoroughly would've enjoyed that in the summer. Overall, we were very pleased with everything and even spend some time in the bar in a cozy little alcove, catching up with some family that we hadn't seen in a year. We would definitely come back and stay at the lodge again the service was impeccable, and everything was just as expected.

Yelp
I have stayed at Keystone Lodge and Spa a few times and I love it. Not necessarily a budget option however its proximity to the park and amenities makes it a great value. The staff it's friendly and very helpful. The rooms are cozy and confortable with great views. My favorite is the nice size hot tubs and heated pool. A perfect way to wrap a long day snowboarding. They offer complimentary local transportation, so going out to a local restaurant it's a breeze. I can't wait for my next trip to Keystone.

Yelp
If no stars was an option I would give them this. Booked a 2 bed "reservation" through a 3rd party. Showed up and they gave us an "upgrade" to a condo. We drove to the condo in sub zero temps, found parking of which I was told would be there but given no direction as to where. It's a hike from the lot to the condo entrance. Finally, got all our stuff and kids up there for there to be one bed and couch. . . There was a storm in the hills and they were over full. However, in the words of Jerry Seinfeld, "That's why you have a reservation." I then called the number to the front desk where I was told the room was a complementary "upgrade." If you have kids you already know this isn't an upgrade. So then we get the kids in swimsuits and trudge across the parking lot in again sub zero temps. The pool doors didn't open with our keys. We finally got into the place (by climbing onto the deck and entering through that door,) we were promised the same amenities. There was a pool, a hot tub for a small number of people and a sauna. No spa amenities, no steam room. Hardly any chairs. Not clean. It was better than sleeping in the car but if I "reserve a room" I expect it to be there and the same as what I paid for. I was planning ahead bc of the weather, it's CO in the mountains and the storm was predicted. Basically, stay anywhere but with a Vail resort. The worst part of all there was no acknowledgment that this was not ok. Just a lie of it being an "upgrade." How a couch is an upgrade from a bed I will never know. Traveling with kids in feet of snow, driving 4 hours bc of the roads being closed, planning ahead so the kids could have a good sleep before skiing, and not even a I'm sorry for the problems. Just treated like we were asking for the moon, when truly all we needed was 2 beds, in the same building with the indoor/outdoor pool.

Yelp
We had an excellent stay here a week ago. Traveling during Covid can be tricky. I'm so glad the folks over at The Lodge and Spa took care of us. From getting a primo room with a nice balcony, to the awesome shuttle drivers, this was a place full of amenities. I loved the atmosphere, and the rustic furniture made it feel just like a lodge. Bedsheets and surfaces were all clean upon entry, and the room had adequate heat. The balcony view was fantastic, and definitely a perk of the higher floors. We loved looking at the resort, and walking right down to ice skating that night. There's a great place to eat attached to the hotel, and more options in Keystone village. I felt this was a great choice for the area, and we'll be back soon!

Amy R.

Yelp
We loved our stay at the lodge!! The room itself was super nice.. had a huge bathroom and huge balcony. The staff was very nice. The complimentary shuttle service to get around the resort was so convenient, definitely take advantage of that. Also make sure you get your free drink voucher when you check in! The hot tub and heated pool were awesome.

Kim R.

Yelp
The only redeeming quality about this resort is the staff. They are top notch. The resort itself however.... It's summer. I don't care what you say about "the cooler mountain air". There's no A/C. My room faces the pool. If I wanted to relax during the day at all in my room there's be no way. I'd have to open my balcony door and blast the fan they provide while listening to screaming kids in the pool. Or keep my room a dark cave with the heavy blackout curtains. Not 1st class at all. I overheard one person say he was a floor above the rest of the building's HVAC so he couldn't leave his door open at all because it was too loud. I'm pretty sure my room was getting into the 80s in the day. The building is outdated. No great food choices. The restaurants at the resort are subpar. It's also having some construction and the air quality is terrible! I wish I had stayed at the Hyatt or down by Lake Dillon for the event I'm attending. Super disappointed. The negatives way outweighed the few positives.

Yelp
I booked a suite for myself, my son and my 2 service dogs for the weekend. At check in I was drilled with question after question about my dogs and then told I will have to pay $70.00 per day and have to stay in the basement. Again, I booked one of their nicest rooms. After the questioning was over I let things be and just went on my way. (I have very severe anxiety and to avoid it I just agreed) The staff at the front desk called me shortly after and waived the fees they were charging me for my service dogs. Obviously seeing they were in the wrong. They left me in the basement and did not compensate me a single dollar on my room for being down there. I booked a 2 level top floor suite, not a garden level room with 2 queen beds. I stay in Breck just about every weekend and have never been treated so poorly. I felt degraded and disrespected in almost every way by the way this was handled. Not one time have I been questioned so much that I would rather just pay. Upon checkout the driver I had a couple times asked if they did anything.......I said no I just let it go. The ladies at the desk asked how they could help so I told them how things went and they basically laughed about it. I don't think I will be staying here again knowing how badly I was discriminated against for having service dogs.

Yelp
I stayed for business, walking distance to their conference call by about 10 minutes. They only have valet parking, and the parking lot is really small. I was recommended to park in a large outside parking lot (free of charge) by the conference call, which is what I did. The hotel lobby staffs were very friendly and helpful. The lobby was pretty and large, with nice amount of chairs. The lobby where you check in is located on 5th floor, which feel strange, since it was the ground floor from the parking... The sense of height is kind of all messed up here. The shape of the lodge itself is very long, so I had to walk quite far to get to my room from the entrance/exit every day. The room was a nice size with a huge armoire instead of a closet. Interesting... They had a humidifier in the armoire which was awesome since it is quite dry here. But, it didn't have any instruction on how to use this particular type of humidifier. It would've have been helpful. The room had adjoining door with next room, which I don't like to have...but it was ok, no issues during my stay. The walls are paper thin though, I could here people walking and talking in the hallway. The room had a balcony with a great view. I enjoyed sitting out there to relax every evening. The AC was not working, even it was summertime. Maybe intentionally? It was kind of warm in the room, but since the outside was the perfect temperature, I kept the door to the balcony open to let the cool air in. The lodge has many levels (floors) but it was handicap accessible. There were some eateries attached to the lodge, but not many options right there. I do not recommend eating at Edgewater Café, horrible food and horrible service. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay for a short business trip.

Laura M.

Yelp
Overall - had a good stay here. It's extremely convenient if you are attending a conference here, as the conference center is about a 10 min walk (underground tunnel) - free parking is also available across the street from the lodge (closer to the conference center). The check-in and check-out process could both use some improvement. Large lines to check in (no early check in), and the same to check out (tried to check out early am around 7am, before the 11Am checkout to attempt to avoid this). Will say that while I didn't use the valet - they were probably the most helpful/nice staff I encountered. Greeted everyone cheerily and answered questions knowledgeably. The hotel itself could use some updating, however my room was very comfortable and very clean - I had a room with a balcony which was nice. Also the ability to open the windows/let fresh air in was wonderful. Again - great place to stay if you're going to a conference - just pack your patience for the check in/out process.

David B.

Yelp
Lodge is ok. Employees are nice and helpful. Restaurant in the lodge is horrible. Here for a conference with about 20 people attending in our group. Not one person in the group had a pleasant experience with the meals.

Jyoti N.

Yelp
There are two front desks one for the lodge & one for the condos but they don't tell you that during reservation. When you finally find the right front desk, they check you in & give you wrong directions to your condo. Some buildings have names & unit numbers not all. None of the 2 dozen employees on site know which building is what name. After walking around the entire lake for 55 minutes with my luggage, from employees giving me bad direction, I went back to my car & drove to front desk. They again give me bad directions & I spend another 30 minutes calling & standing in the parking lot. Calling the main number doesn't help because NOBODY knows where the units are. They have never even heard of the Edgewater building. Finally ran into a locksmith working on locks who showed me where my unit was. I get there & the key doesn't work. More calling & waiting for the right key. After finally getting in the room, the TV & Refrigerator don't work! I called front desk at 3pm. TV was fixed at 5.30 pm . Refrigerator is still on the fritz. This whole place is a joke & they have the gall to charge resort fees . $50/night motels in Florida are better than this place. All the buildings need a wifi password but nobody knows what it is . The buildings are in a construction zone. Employees are completely clueless. I have never had a 2 hour check-in process even in the largest resorts in the world!

Marissa A.

Yelp
Would not recommend, front desk made me wait for 8 HOURS. When they could've told me to book through a 3rd party app. And the general manager Dustin threatened me

Cindy S.

Yelp
FOR ALL THE THINGS I HAD TO DO MYSELF I MIGHT AS WELL HAVE BOOKED AN AIRBNB NO CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST, NO MICROWAVES in room, NO LAUNDRY ROOM to wash your clothes. NO ROOM SERVICE! You have to call each and every time you want your room cleaned, or if you want water, coffee, creamer, down to exactly how many packets of sugar you want. When I asked for my glass bottles of water to be refilled (the room provides them to prevent using plastic water bottles) I was told to walk to lobby and refill it. I was the one cleaning my room daily, putting our dirty towels out, requesting more, taking the trash out! I was on VACATION AT A RESORT AND I WAS CLEANING. MY. ROOM. NO FOOD DELIVERED TO YOUR ROOM BY ROOM SERVICE. Nada. Nothing. The breakfast they "provide" is over $90 for a family of four and it is terrible for the price. Every time I ate there the pancakes were ROCK HARD. When I asked them to replace them, they brought ANOTHER TRAY OF HARD PANCAKES OUT. The eggs are the powdered mix kind which I don't mind but $90??? They provide a coupon that you get for each night you're staying which is $10 off but even with all four combined which totaled $40 off, the total was still like $50. Let that sink in. FIFTY DOLLARS FOR WHAT IS A VERY CHEAP BREAKFAST WITH POWDERED EGGS, watered down orange and apple juice, AND HARD AS ROCK PANCAKES. Like you can't even soften them with syrup. I was CHARGED FOR THIS. The village stores were all closed due to covid so we didn't get to stop in and buy ANYTHING The skating rink was covered in snow because "their machines were broken" so we only got to ice skate on a little part of it. I WAS CHARGED FOR THIS We only got two robes we had to use for our entire stay from Dec 31st-Jan 5th because they didn't have anymore. I WAS CHARGED TO STAY AT THIS PLACE LIKE MOTEL 6 is looking better at this point. THE FOOD options around keystone are limited, we found ourself in brackenridge most of the time and we regret not staying there. When we pulled up to unload our luggage, there was no offer to help whatsoever, we loaded it ALL UP and took it to our room. Same thing when we left. The carts are also as big as the inside of the elevator so it's hard to fit the cart into the elevator let alone steer it. We were not informed about alot of amenities that were offered such as personal rides. We also didn't know you had to book the tubes in advance so our family missed out on it. We ended up going to carter park in brackenridge and had the most fun for FREE!!! The only positive is the view from our room on the first floor was so beautiful and the hot tubs were awesome when they weren't filled with drunk teens. Also, every staff member was friendly and they were always telling people to put on their mask. I mean, I'm all for safety but it was the only thing they were consistent about. We also wasted money on lift tickets we paid like $1000 and reserved them for the days we were there. We are newbie snowboarders and needed lots of practice so we didn't even get to hit the real slopes except once. We also didn't know they provide free skiing for the kids, and of course we couldn't get a refund on our epic passes. Complete waste of money. I don't think EPIC is affiliated with keystone but heads up to anyone looking to get lift tickets. Unless you're an avid skier DO not get epic passes. We also went to Frisco adventure park to get snow boarding lessons and saved so much money. Keystone wanted to charge us like $700 and we paid $275 and had a great time! OVERALL OUR experience with keystone was awful but our family tried to remain positive and we made the best of it. Oh well, we learned the hard way and will NEVER stay at keystone again!!!

Heather J.

Yelp
Stayed 3 nights, very comfortable, had a great massage at the spa, staff is very friendly, not much open during mud season but beautiful scenery, I would definitely stay again. Pool was heated and nice indoor spa and sauna, you don't have to get a massage to use these facilities.

Carrie S.

Yelp
Steep extra resort fee when you check out despite being told the rate "includes taxes and fees" when you book. Front desk staff was super friendly but couldn't recommend a single local restaurant, thing to do, map of the hotel to know where pool or anything was. Anything. Parking was super far. No exit information. When we tried to take the stairs so we didn't have to walk down the length of 26 rooms (all on the same side, so extra long) we couldn't figure out how to get out. Once we finally found the floor with the exit, you have to climb a steep hill through weeds to get up to the road. No walkway up there. Just weeds and a busy street.

Ryan P.

Yelp
The lodge is decent and the room is spacious however upon checkout they revealed a lot of hidden fees . When I questioned the fees they said they would remove some of them which came across as a scam. Parking included for the stay isn't convenient if you are traveling with a lot of ski gear. It's across a busy four lane road which you can access in an underground tunnel. The restaurant in the resort is an absolute disaster. Upon checking in we were given a drink ticket so we figured we would check it out . The menu seemed good, however high prices which were to be expected . The entire experience was awful from the moment we sat down. It reminded me of an episode of "kitchen nightmares" . Those complementary drinks took 15 minutes to reach the table. The $13 French Onion soup had us wondering how it left the kitchen in the first place . One bowl hardly had any soup in it and what was there was bland mixture with a strange mixture of cheese and bread in it . The $27 main course (per plate) was so bad and cold that it was uneatable . We thankfully spoke up and they comped the main dish. We offered to pay for the soup but then they lost the bill which took another 20 minutes to figure out. They finally said the computer system isn't working so don't bother paying. If you do decide this resort is for you, make sure you don't stay there on an empty stomach.

J K.

Yelp
Positives first: valet attendants Mike and Nick were bar bone amazing guest service and care, morning hellos, accommodating in every way! Remembered our dogs name and ours of course. Negatives: over priced, heater in our room didn't work- maintenance said wait a couple hours the portable heater will start working --- it was -5 that night, booked a king w a balcony but the pet friendly meant being relegated to the 1st floor garden level 2 queen beds- freezing (no heater) and outdated. felt like a punishment, broken coffee maker, outdated facilities, no microwave in the room (community) - breakfast sandwich was $19 and $14 for a burrito. No Continental breakfast options. Over all- over priced lacked quality tasted freezer burnt. disappointed over all! oh ya and $800 for 2 nights Thursday and Friday night stay. not to mention resort fees, pet fees, valet fees and taxed on top of the fees.. just too much cost for an outdated 1975 build that needs updating.

Austin F.

Yelp
1. Had to park far away. Parking sucks 2. Had to find cold medicine after 9pm. "Gift" shop closes at 6:00pm you can either walk a mile to your car and drive 2 miles or walk a mile to the store that closes at 10pm. 3. No pamphlets or brochures. Too modern? Or bunch of teenagers running the place? 4. Had to go to the front desk for a spoon or fork. About a mile away from the room. 5. Walking a mile for ice. Seriously everything was far from everything 6. $3.00 vending machine 7. Putting up with rich people (f***ers) 8. Resort fee at check out 9. Sorry cleaning person, we didn't tip you because we were so angry about the SURPRISE resort fee enforced by the teenage manager. Add on: the fire department should really inspect the exits

Kristin S.

Yelp
They have free valet and ski storage! Starting at 8am they have a free shuttle that comes around and picks you up and it will take you to the ski lifts. For the winter months they have a huge pool that is heated. You get inside the pool indoors and then swim outside. It was snowing when I went in the pool! There are also two hot tubs. One hot tub is outside and the other is indoors. There is a sauna and a steam room and also a place to dry your bathing suits after you are done. The is also a restaurant and bar within the hotel. If you get room service you MUST get the chocolate cake they have for dessert. It's TO DIE FOR!! Overall the hotel and service was great.

Amanda B.

Yelp
DO NOT STAY HERE. MONEY HUNGRY COMPANY. But honestly, what do you expect for Vail Resorts? If you do stay here, DO NOT PAY THE FULL SUM. I stayed here last year, it was very underwhelming, but figured I do it again because of the spa only. The rooms are dated. Parking is terrible and distant from the hotel. Poor to non-existent food options. And it's a "hike" (shuttle ride) to the base. However, this time there was a massive snowstorm in the mountains. Pass to the resort was closed. CDOT advised not to travel. I am currently traveling for work and due to the nature of my work, I cannot be delayed. I canceled my reservation and requested a refund. Given the nature of my work (military, don't believe them when they say they are military friendly), my request was elevated but was ultimately denied. I was then told that perhaps during my next stay that I should consider their travel insurance which based on other reviews is a waste of money anyways. So, my next stay? There will not be a next stay.

Natalie H.

Yelp
Here for an Education Conference for International Baccalaureate programs and schools. Beautiful surroundings, older style lodge with spacious bedroom/bathroom. Shuttle and many unique outdoor activities for purchase ($$). Nice meal amenities for the meals included in conference. Overpriced 'on your own meals' if right in this village area. Not sure yet about eateries avail by shuttle. Will be exploring!

Kristi M.

Yelp
Me and a few friends stayed here this weekend and Kristie at the front desk had terrific customer service and she suggested a fun, local bar with live music to check out! Clean room, great views, comfy bed, and ample parking! (it's across the street but not far by any means) I will warn you, if you are a light sleeper this may not be the place for you, the walls are paper thin and you will hear every conversation of people walking down the halls and people in the rooms next to you!

Jules G.

Yelp
The rooms were okay but super hot during the day because it's a mountain town and there is no AC. The front desk staff were friendly along with the valet men. Hotel is pet friendly which is nice! My main complaint is with the cleaning staff. . they stopped me in the hall at 10 to let me know they were waiting to clean our room but check out wasn't until 11. It irritated me because we spent good money to stay there. It was nice they offered a 10.00 voucher for the lakeside deli.

Jafey A.

Yelp
The first thing I will say is the staff is very friendly and clearly tries to do what is right for their guests, and that is something that is very appreciated. If you are a college age kid with a few bucks, this is a great place to stay. The bar, spa, pool, restaurants, and ice rink were all packed with weed smoking, fun loving college kids. That is all well and good, but not what I expected. I thought (from what I read in the past) that I would have had a perfect relaxing hotel for my family on a weekend where my daughter is learning to ski. Instead, I almost got in a fight with 5 college dudes at the indoor hot tub (I would have destroyed all of them) because they wouldnt stop smoking weed around my wife and kid. The spa staff was clearly too afraid to stop them, so on my vacation I essentially had to moonlight as a security guard, and that just ruined the weekend. If you are looking for a good FAMILY resort and spa skip this place. If you are young and cooler than me give this place a shot.

Adam H.

Yelp
Has a definite 1980s feel, which is kind of cool. The spiral staircase is a nice novelty at first, then it becomes exhausting after a day of skiing. The hot tub and pool or absolutely amazing. The service everywhere it was amazing. We would stay here again. But, next time we would probably stay closer to the slopes. No air conditioning in the room, which was sweltering the first day, but wasn't a problem after we were able to air it out.

Garrett R.

Yelp
My friends and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The check-in process was easy. The room and spa amenities were clean and easy to reserve. We requested a late check-out and Paige was able to accommodate our stay. The grab 'n go breakfast cafe was a nice touch and the barista was super fun. This place is a 5 minute drive to the ski resort so it's the perfect location.

Natasha B.

Yelp
Stayed December '20 at Keystone Lodge & Spa. Not bad price for being close to Keystone Ski Resort. We had an easy check-in. Pet friendly with additional fee. Only complaint was they don't provide at least a microwave in the rooms. would have made the stay amazing but slightly inconvenience not being able to heat up leftovers.

Matthew B.

Yelp
Worst experience of my life Elevator broke. For 3 days We on top floor They lied about when it would be fixed They toilets don't work They leave exposed wires At elevator Worst resort ever Never will I return To this place

Christina D.

Yelp
We stayed four nights at the lodge so we could snowboard. The valet service was great. The guys were all super friendly, and we had some nice chats about conditions, boards, etc. It was really nice they stored your boards, so you didn't have to keep them in your room. The shuttle was a little inconsistent. We were told it started operating at 7:30, but one morning it didn't begin until 7:50. Not horrible, but when it's 20 degrees out and you want to get breakfast before going up the mountain, it's a little irritating. The lodge and its rooms have seen better days. The decor desperately needs a refresh, as the funk of years resides in the carpet, drapes, and upholstery. We were also pretty surprised that the room didn't have a fridge or microwave, two things that seem pretty standard in hotel rooms nowadays. You do have a coffee pot (with coffee, creamer, and sugars) and some bottled tap water, but that's it. We didn't take advantage of the spa, but we did go check out the weights room. It was clearly added on after the hotel was built, as you have to head through a maze of twisty passages and through the spa to access it. I didn't end up using it because it wasn't well kept; weights and trash were strewn about, and an overwhelming smell of gym funk pervaded the area. I get it's a weight room, but some level of hygiene is expected. Overall, we won't stay again, especially not at the price point we paid.

Yelp
Customer service was good. Two jacuzzis , one indoor and one outdoor. Heated pool. Steam room was lovely. Sauna wasn't working but it's there. Drinks served near pool area. Comfortable bed and pillows. The Bistro Bar located on site has some delicious drinks. Their bacon Bloody Mary was perfect. Also their chocolate martini hit the spot. Burgers were just okay. For 19$ I was expecting something great but these tasted like the pre-made frozen ones. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. We would just have dinner some place in town.

Yelp
I stayed here for a summer conference for a week and was thrilled with every aspect of the visit. The check-in process was great. They had plenty of employees to attend to the rush of visitors, so the line went very quickly. Although I heard the employees telling most travelers that their rooms were not ready yet, my room was ready for an early check-in. I confirmed the dates of the stay and signed the paperwork without any issues. We received welcome cookies, a cell phone stand, and maps for the property. We stayed in one of the condos in Decatur and it was HUGE--two full bedrooms and bathroom, a lovely family room, and a full kitchen. The furnishings were very cute and it felt really cozy. Everything was clean and thoughtfully arranged. The bathrooms were stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. Bars of soap were also available for the sinks. (If I return to the resort in the future, I'm going to request this location again, since it was so easy to get around.) The room also had free wifi that worked quite well. The bus system at Keystone was fantastic. They had several different routes that were clearly posted at each stop. I rarely had to wait more than a few minutes for a bus and the drivers got us there quickly. They also played some great music on the buses as we traveled. We enjoyed a few of the activities at the resort, like a ride on the summer mountain lift. (They even had bike slots in the lift for bikers.) It was somewhat pricey, but the view was fantastic. Although some of the conference was staffed by outside employees, the Keystone staff was also fantastic. There was always plenty of water available, prompt meal availability, and helpful guidance if we needed direction. It was a huge conference and there's no way it could have gone as smoothly as it did without a strong staff. It was easy to check out the morning of our departure. We called the number listed on our welcome packet, gave the required information, and left the keys on the front table. It was a lovely resort and I hope to return someday!

Yelp
Tyler in the dinner restaurant was horrendous. We ordered drinks and he never came back after half an hour. We walked out and we're not able to order our food.

Yelp
I'm really disappointed. We checked in today and I'm unhappy for more than 5 reasons!!! We spent over $600 for two nights stay, which is a splurge for us. I would expect top notch service for the price. Before arriving, I called to ask if we could have a mini fridge. The manager was kind and let me know we could have one free of charge. She let me know we could check in between 2-4. Awesome! Then my husband came back because I didn't think to ask if there was a microwave. The person he talked to offered one for our room for free and that our room was ready, so could check in now. Awesome! We went to the grocery store and purchased groceries. Someone from the hotel gave us the ok, so we bought groceries requiring a fridge. When we arrived, a group of valet drivers were huddled around the valet stand. Someone came out to kinda-sorta help us but never came back. Granted, they were busy. Ok, whatever. I retrieved from inside the front hall and loaded my own cart, none of the valet helped. When we got inside the front lobby, the staff were baffled that someone told my husband our room was ready. That fine, we wanted Ski anyway. Then I was told we could only have a mini fridge if one was available... :-( The information we got on the phone was mostly incorrect. We go ski and return. We officially check in and I asked if owe anything. The front desk person told me she couldn't help me because I booked through a third party. You can't help me? Really? Nothing you can do to make sure I am paid in full? I did force you to sell your room to be booked by a third party. We get to our room with our groceries and guess what? No mini fridge. Also, they have fireworks on Saturday nights. No one at the hotel told us, but they were over by the time we figured it out. Missed opportunity with your guests. Could have been memorable, romantic, and special. Redeeming factors: location, free transportation, some friendly staff, and clean/nice rooms These things are not big deals, but all together it makes staying here a very stressful experience. I will not return and I couldn't recommend this place for the price to my friends. I really want to like this place, so I hope my opinion will be changed in the next 48 hours.

Yelp
We stayed for a full week and a major snow storm was approaching (March 2021) we had nowhere to go when our flight was cancelled. The "manager" said if we did not leave he would call the sheriff to make us so they could fill the rooms with new reservations instead of trying to accommodate existing guests. Terrible front desk service that left us as a family in a bind during a major weather event. They care about the money not their guests. Shame.

Yelp
Great little spot; dog friendly. No air conditioning though. If you have a dog with you, you stay on the ground floor and they only have double bed rooms. Staff is nice and accommodating.

Yelp
I went for a prenatal massage. It was a good massage, and definitely appreciated the pillow with the cutouts that allowed me to be face down instead of sideways. I thought my masseuse and the reception were both five stars. The place itself though was just lacking in cleanliness more or less. I found the 1 shower actually gross. I was kicking other people's leftover slippers off the bench in the locker room, and I had to move a leftover plate of food and some pedicure toe separators to put my water down on a table in the relaxation room. An hour later, when I returned after my treatment, that was all still there. My massage room was also part of an adjoining room that was being used for storage i suppose, however, they chose not to close the rooms accordion door separation so i could see all the stuff piled up which was very weird. It's not a busy spa and it was late in the day, but it was definitely just more like a YMCA then the location of a $145.

Yelp
We attended the July 3rd celebration around the lake. It was a blast! We went paddle boating, ate the street food, had some drinks, and watched our daughter enjoy the jumpy castles and other kid attractions. It was a beautiful day and there was just the right amount of people which made it fun without it being a madhouse. I've grown up going to Keystone and the surrounding around and I love it every time!

Yelp
The lodge seemed picture perfect. We booked a room with a king bed and living space, however didn't know it was a loft until we arrived. Coming from a lower altitude, it was hard for me to acclimate. The loft made it worse. The room was stuffy with old carpet and smelled a bit musty/moldy. The walls are thin and we could hear everything from the rooms next to us. We took the first day easy and ordered room service. I was sorely disappointed when my steel cut oats arrived ice cold with no butter and no brown sugar. They brought another one up, but it too was luke-warm... not the hot bowl of porridge I was craving. The room had a broken fan in the corner of the loft, the wooden knobs on cabinets popping off everytime we opened them, and a toilet that didn't flush all the way. It wasn't exactly the mountain retreat we had hoped for. Went skiing on the 2nd day, and had a difficult time breathing. That night, we decided to eat at the restaurant. It was a bad choice. Our food (soup and salad) took over 45 minutes to come out and it was only mediocre. When my husband ordered an "old fashioned" the bar tender brought a drink that was full of ice, had a cherry floating and an orange slice on the side. I don't drink bourbon, but even I knew it was made wrong. The orange and cherry should have been muddled together and had one large cube and a splash of water. By the 3rd day I had to leave early because I had altitude sickness and could not catch my breathe. I didn't expect a refund, but asked if I could have one. No one was more disappointed to leave early than me. The concierge who was helping us had to bring out a manager who smuggly told me that's what travelers insurance was for. I didn't appreciate that at all. The only thing that made the stay bearable was the hot tub/pool/steam room. Needless to say, we won't be making this an annual trip.

Yelp
Absolutely the best place I've ever stayed! I was so impressed by this place. They were so friendly and went above and beyond. The place was so clean my family and me felt at home. I highly recommend this cozy little paradise. The views were breathtaking and the amenities were perfect. I really loved all the little things too. They really pay attention to detail to make your stay great. Very homie and cozy also very convenient.

Yelp
Nice place in Keystone and right across from the Conference Center. The good. - nice outdoor pool open through winter. - two hot tubs (one inside one outside) - gym with updated equipment - rooms nicely furnished and comfortable beds - views of the mountains - onsite restaurants and cafes - good starbucks coffee in the room - easy parking across the street - fitness/yoga classes on site Meh - WiFi super slow or non existent (not usable 70% of the time) - valet slow (we waited 40 minutes to get our car after both calling ahead and checking in at the curb)

Yelp
Ah, Keystone. I came up for a night with my friend and his two children (11 & 8). It was a Thursday afternoon/night and mellow. Traffic was easy, the slopes weren't busy, and lines were short. All of this said, the staff and every employee I interacted with was totally passive and/or rude. No smiles, no real greetings at the stores, ski shop, restaurants. The warmest greeting/meeting was with the hotel front desk--very kind. Beyond them it was flatline faces, take-your-money and walk away, no communication about waits, specials, or reasoning behind slipshod service. Keystone Lodge & Spa--get it together. Find joy in your job.

Yelp
This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in and I have traveled all over the world. The 'humming' from the electrical room makes it impossible to sleep and the staff is incredibly rude and incompetent. Skyler at the front desk was muttering the f bomb repeatedly under his breath as he checked a guest in

Yelp
I'm just here for one night so I'm not an expert but the facilities are as that of a high end ski lodge...I don't say that kindly. For some reason most winter resorts don't feel the need to be *perfect* the way, say, The Four Seasons in Maui would. Admit it. There's a lower standard. But Keystone is right on the river, has a great pool, great food and drink and insanely friendly service. So It's that service that bumps this place up from 4 to 5.

Yelp
Food: N/A Ambiance: 3.5/5 Services: 3.5/5 Prices: $$$ (avg 180/night) Before booking my vacation to the Summit County, I have read several reviews about this place and was really not sure as I read more negatives than positives... especially on TripAdvisor website. But when we found a great package deal on Priceline that include flight, car rental and this hotel, we decided to just risk it... We were glad! First of, this is a huge complex. They have the main building where you check-in, then there's the Lakeside and the Condo sections. I called in few days earlier to secure for a bedroom with king size bed instead of a double beds. So, we were placed in the main building, otherwise, you will have to walk out of the main building to the other sections and its no fun when its below 30F outside... So, this review is mainly for the main building... The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The ambiance is quite typical "lodge" & 70s style hotel with bricks and woods. We were checked into room# 510, all the way at the end of the building. Its a decent size bedroom with wooden furniture all around - bed frame, entertainment center & cabinets. There's a decent size balcony overlooking the hills and the pool. Because this is a spa, there's complete toiletries available. On-site there's a Deli and the Edgewater Cafe located on the 2nd floor and then the Bighorn Steakhouse with its bar. We been going to the cafe every morning for breakfast. The cafe overlook the man-made lake which is converted into a skate rink in winter. They offer very decent $18 breakfast buffet or $12 Continental buffet. Being us, we ordered ala carte. This hotel is located about 1.5miles West from River Run Village (the main ski area in Keystone) and 3.5miles East of Silverthorne (small town with Outlet stores). So, if you are only here for snow activities and dont care about spending the evening walking around stores & shopping, then this is a great place to be. They have heated pool & jacuzzi to relax in the evening. Otherwise, if you need evening entertainment, then go Breckenridge (35mins) or Vail (1hr).

Yelp
I was looking for a relaxing day at the spa, and I found just that with an outstanding massage from Cheryl. Also, her wealth of knowledge regarding natural resources to help with being healthier and less stressed. Facial services and body treatments are also a must !

Yelp
Ever see that movie Cannonball Run, where there's loads of cars in one big highway free-for-all all competing for a prize I can't remember but that may have involved chocolate? Welcome to Denver before a giant snowstorm. News came the drop was about to hit, and it was gonna be a big'un. So we piled into the car at around 11.30pm and made a mad midnight dash for the mountains to beat the storm and jam fresh pow the next morning. The drive was hairy, we'd left our run a bit late but at the end of the drive, a shining jewel - Elvendor! Fine not quite the magical homeland of the Elves from LOTR, but close enough. Keystone Lodge is big, it's bad, and it's right in the village. The beds are problematic, in that they're so comfy you can barely get out of the bastards for early fresh tracks. Didn't get to try the spa sadly, but the real gold here was the staff, they were so friendly and helpful and realised that we just wanted A) to get to bed and B) get to the slopes the next morn, and they got us expedited with smiles all round and a minimum of fuss. Only down side was not getting to enjoy the lovely rustic hotel more, but hey, when in Rome right?

Yelp
This place is amazing. Wonderful staff, clean rooms and good location. Free shuttles from hotel to "downtown keystone", a 3 min ride. They have a free shuttle that will take you just about any where you want to go. The drivers are so nice! There's an outdoor heated pool and hottub, and indoor hottub, sauna and steam room which is attached to the spa. We would definately stay here again!

Yelp
We will NEVER return. Customer service... Even customer attentiveness was horrid. Every issue I brought up was received with a blank face or monotonous apology and no solution or compensation. The best thing about our stay here had nothing to do with the lodge and more to do with the area. We paid for their best room, with a mountain view and a king bed. Due to my issues with PTSD, I specifically requested that I wanted to be in the quietest area possible. When we arrived, they saw my service dog and lowered our package. Legit. We were shoved into a crap hole dusty room in the basement because we had a SERVICE dog, despite the fact that it is totally illegal to do so. They assured me that the only difference in rooms was that we'd be on a lower level, and we'd have an extra bed... that we didn't want or need since it took up all of our living space... but we'd be blessed with a quieter stay and a back door to let our dog outside instead of just a private deck. No charges were lowered. We paid for their best room with a loft... but, let me describe the room they blessed us with: There was no fitted sheet, so we slept on top of a loose sheet over a gross bare mattress all weekend. We requested new sheets, but they sent us hangers instead. Our food from room service came late, cold, and looked like a 5th grader made it. Dirt on the floor. Mold in the bathroom. A foul smell of old urine on the floors, old mattresses, old furniture, dusty curtains and walls, filthy heater that left a burnt hair smell when on, and a dirty sock under the bed. The first night I slept 1 hour due to the 6 people crammed in both rooms next to me each having their own issues. On one side, was a girl crying loudly, vomiting, and from what I can imagine, mosh pitting (by herself) in the shower while a man loudly laughed about it. On our other side was some "happy people" that didn't want to sleep through the rave they were having. Jolly fun time for them, it was! At the end of our stay, guy asks me how our stay was...I vented respectfully as he stared at the computer about every issue we had. He just said, "I'm sorry to hear that. Did you call the front desk?" after I said yes, he just replied with a "hmph! We usually are much better at telling guests to be quiet." ... yes. Perhaps. I'm sure they're also claiming that it's usually much tidier than it was for us. (Just like you told that hottie that came over to your cool new unusually cluttered apartment with super neat but unusually obnoxious roommate.) I don't know, friend. This place was lame for me... I could rant and complain about all the other things I hated throughout the stay... but... I won't. I'll just say that this place is a complete waste of time to any traveler that wants to get what they paid for, a decent rest, and fair treatment. The end.
