Keystone Resort

3rd time visitor. It just keeps getting better. My review is limited to parking, skiing, and on slope amenities. Free parking. Score! Super friendly staff. Amazing grooming, especially if you are there early. Vail, Breck, Copper, Beaver Creek are all within short range, but Keystone... get two thumbs up for me

I normally love Keystone Resort and still do. It has some of the best back bowls of any ski resort I’ve ever been to, especially when conditions are strong. The terrain variety and bowl skiing are usually a huge reason I come back year after year. That said, January 2026 snow conditions have been a little rough at both Keystone and Breckenridge, and the mountain definitely shows it. Coverage is thin in spots and you need to ski a little smarter than usual. The photos tell the story. The upside is there are basically no lift lines, which is a rare luxury these days. Even with limited snow, it’s still been a fun experience and you can get a lot of laps in without waiting around all day. If we get better snowfall later in the season, Keystone will shine like it normally does. Even in a lighter snow year, the mountain still delivers solid skiing, great views, and efficient lift access.

First time out west, so beautiful, weather was great (snow) and had an incredible time. We went snow-biking for a couple of days - challenging, yet very worthwhile. The people, food, and fun will always be remembered until my next trip out to Keystone.

This is an amazing massive ski resort mountain. It is a little difficult to get from one side to the other via trails had to take a bus which comes by OFTEN. So still very simple. It was an amazing day of snowboarding. Thank You Keystone for being awesome

Best snowboard resort in early season! Best beginner learning area probably in the world. Best and one of the longest green run, schoolmarm, we’ve ever rode. Can not wait to return to explore the bowl and back mountain during peak winter season

Keystone is a big, lively ski resort that gives you a lot of terrain and a fun atmosphere, especially if you’re an intermediate skier or coming with family. The layout across multiple peaks means you get plenty of long groomers, tree runs, and mellow areas for beginners, so everyone in a mixed‑ability group can find something to enjoy. One of the best parts of Keystone is how long you can stay on snow, thanks to regular night skiing that keeps lifts running under the lights after most other mountains have closed. The base villages are well set up, with condos, shops, and restaurants close to the lifts, so it’s easy to walk everywhere and you don’t feel like you’re constantly shuttling around in ski boots. On the flip side, Keystone can get very crowded, especially on weekends and holidays, with long lift lines and congested main runs during peak hours. Lift tickets and on‑mountain food are expensive for what you get, and some of the infrastructure feels a bit dated compared to the prices being charged. Overall, it’s a great choice if you want lots of groomed terrain, a busy social vibe, and night skiing, but less ideal if you’re seeking uncrowded expert terrain or maximum value for money.

Great sling at the top of the mountain. The enclosed gondola to the top is a big plus. Good combination of green and green/blue slopes. Schoolmarm Run is a 3.5 mile trip to the bottom with green and nearly blue slopes.

Honestly it's one of the best and closest Epic pass ski resorts. One of the main best perks is the free parking. They have a lot of runs from the back to the front of the mountain. The front has a major learning run called schoolmaram which is 3.5 miles long. The best time to go is in the middle of the week because the lines are short and the mountain is not super crowded like on the weekends. The food on the mountain is very expensive. You are looking at spending at least $25 for tenders and fries. I think personally they could drop the food prices a bit. But that is just my personal opinion. Overall still a great mountain to ski and board.

This is an amazing ski mountain that offers a lot of green beginner runs to very advanced black diamond runs. Because of lacking Snow, the double diamonds were not available. In the past, they've skied their double diamonds and we had a lot of fun. There's plenty of parking available. They do have shuttles for the very far out parking, which is a great thing. This will add on a little bit of time because it's done an express shuttle The lifts are fast and moving well In 25 years of coming to Keystone I have yet to ever meet an employee that was not nice and pleasant .

Keystone was a wonderful experience. A great variety of terrain for beginners to advanced. It was family friendly and great for all ages. They have a lot of high elevation and long runs for all levels as well. It was easy to navigate and get from one side of the park to the other. Everything was marked well so it was friendly to new skiers which felt very welcoming. Everything was well maintained and staff was friendly and helpful.

Spend two days on the slopes. Even with the bitter cold winds there was a good amount of people on the mountain. The staff did an amazing job at making decisions in order to keep us safe in closing lifts during the high winds and cold. They also did an amazing job at maintaining that the lines moved quickly and smoothly.

Free parking, easy to navigates. Decent amount of shops and rentals there. I actually broke one of my straps on my board and one of the rentals were able to help me fix it quickly and free of charge as well. This resort isn't super beginner friendly I will say, more for advanced levels. Very pretty and we had a great time!

Love the option of night skiing. It's sad that it's not offer more often. It's definitely my favorite spot in all the area. Not as busy as others and still have amazing runs. Often there are no lines or if they are, they move fast. Can't wait to be back again.

Pros 1. Close to Denver 2.The Keystone pass is very affordable compared to others 3. Kids 4 and under are free Cons 1. Not a fan of the parking situation at all 2. It's a pretty long walk from the parking lot so bring a wagon if you park at River run and have kids. 3. The easy green runs is almost 3 and 1/2 mi from the top to the bottom which is pretty long for kids. Mountain house West which is the closest parking lot to the magic carpet and the children's area charges $25 for parking per day during peak time and $15 per day off peak. Tip 1. Mountain house parking lot D is free. And the closest easiest parking lot. If you get there by 7:45 to 8:00 on a weekday, there's usually plenty of parking.

I took my son here the 2nd time he went skiing when he was 6. He will be 40 in August. Family friendly. Free close up parking if you have children. Yay! Lots of greens and easy blues for my 6 year old twin granddaughters that started ti ski at age 3. I would avoid coming here to ski in the weekend. Quite crowded. Long lines ... 20 minutes or so in Wayback chair this past Sunday. .

Keystone is a must for skiing and snowboarding. Lots of vertical and terrain, free parking.

We visited Keystone and made it a half day as we were staying in Breckenridge. Visiting keystone we rode the gondola which is very well kept- , visited the ice castle and did some snow tubing. The resort is very well kept and the staff were all very helpful. We were first time visitors for tubing and they help led us in the right direction. If you feel lost that's okay - just ask for help! You must purchase the gondola ride AND the tubing pass if you plan to snow tube- you can check for pricing on the website. We found the easiest way to purchase our pass was by visiting the counter as then the Keystone team help lead us in the right direction.

family outing with kids first ski experience, planned months in advance. Upon arrival were told equipment rented was not available due to overbooking it was first come first serve. Incredibly unprofessional and in retrospect should have checked many, many negative YELP reviews.

Such a bad experience today. Specifically NOWHERE at the Mountain House bad area takes cash. I had no idea, and brought $60 in cash in my pocket (I have a fear of losing my wallet if I ski with it). Well I got SO much grief about trying to buy my kids lunch. I ended up having to spend 60 dollars on about 20 worth of food because they don't have change. Everyone was so rude. You should be able to use American cash at any American stores. Awful experience today. I'll be going to breck instead from now on.

Terrain park great. Awsome view. 3.5 mile run is the best. Park is bussin if you know what I mean. No mean workers.

Great place to go skiing or snowboarding! I had taken my lesson and felt like the runs and instructors were great. Highly recommend going here for skiing or boarding!

I had a great experience at Keystone Resort mountain. I went two days in a row and that was a good amount of time to get used to the mountains and trails. I'm from New York so I got hit pretty hard with the high altitude sickness, please be aware that this might happen to you, it sucks so much. This was my first time skiing out west and it was completely different than the New England mountains. The green trails are so long which was awesome. Took me about 12 minutes to get down the mountain. They do close at 4 PM though so definitely want to come on time and get as many trips up the mountain as you can in the day

Went to keystone today! My first day of this ski season! Schoolmarm is the only run open so it was super crowded and not super enjoyable but the snow was actually pretty good surprisingly and I enjoyed the views and the sunshine. It was a fun half day of skiing and the sun made it a fun day to walk around river run village.

My friends and I went on our 2nd annual trip to Keystone last week. It was nonetheless another great adventure. Pros: - Absolutely gorgeous views - Easy access to the mountain - Cute decor and spacious rooms - Friendly staff on the mountain - Helpful ER assistance and professional work Cons: - Customer service w/ Buffalo lodge and not having an elevator - really expensive and unappetizing food at 9280 tap house - dangerous ski slopes on the back side of the mountain

Went here for our anniversary the staff were great! We received a complimentary bottle of champagne, $10 off on the gondola ride or ice skating, and 2 free drinks at dinner. The food could of been better for the price we paid. Overall was a fun trip and good memories. There are other places for cheaper with the same attractions. This was a highly recommended area in Colorado. We would go somewhere else next time we decide to visit Colorado during the winter.

Came to the Keystone Lake Ice Rink. First of all, super hard to find this place. You have to park in a lot and go under a tunnel and walk down to the ice rink. Okay, we figured that out and it was settled. Got to the rink and unfortunately, forgot our cards (our fault). Asked the staff if card number entry or Apple Pay is possible. They're not sure - they went to find the information. Come back, it's possible to manually enter information but an ID is required. Staff member informs me that it's not possible to show electronic ID because it could be false. I explain that the photo ID is proof I'm the owner. Okay, settled, we move on. I tell them the card numbers and show my ID. Then we pay $30 for rental skates and 2 hours of admission even though I was with a Youth skater - was still charged for 3 adults. The ice is choppy and snowed up, the skates are dull. There's no lights outside in the dark. Overall, not really worth it.

We can't say enough amazing things about how hard the employees work, and how great the ski patrol is. We got into a bit of trouble on Thanksgiving Day, and they responded right away, they were very gracious, and got us off the mountain quickly! Update: Lots of variety of slops for different ranges of ski expertise. Watch as snowboarders can run you over, but overall I feel people do try to be respectful.

We had a great time at the resort. Very smooth process staying at the lodge, getting rentals, etc. just a warning If you are a beginner/ first timer you might not need to buy the lift pass. The beginner slope does not need the lift pass. We did not know that so we bought 2 day lift passes and ended up not using them at all so it was money down the drain! If you are a beginner get your rentals from the mountain house bc that's where the beginner slope is. The staff throughout the whole resort was super friendly. We can't wait to come back! I would suggest staying at the keystone lodge bc there is a free shuttle that takes you around the whole resort!

I love to ski here but am leaving two stars for the mountaintop yoga class. The class costs $35 per person (not including the lift ticket) and was supposed to be from 10:30-11:30. The instructor showed up with barely a planned flow and the class only lasted 40 minutes. It was also just basic stretches despite my sister and I being the only people in the class and saying we were very experienced yogis. For this price, we were very disappointed by the class. The views were amazing but we could have easily stretched on our at the top and saved a lot of money.

We planned a trip MLK weekend, and activities were cancelled by the resort due to the wind. I spoke to someone at the resort that day, and they stated we'd receive an automatic refund. A week later, I had been transferred to different lines at least 13 times, often speaking to the same pool of reps. Needless to say, I sent an email instead, as I couldn't get anywhere through the 7 phone numbers I was given. Another 10 days after that, I still have not received a phone call or response to email. I am beyond disappointed.

This review is specifically for first time skiers like myself. I will say that this was not a very Beginner-Level friendly ski resort. In order to get to the the bunny slopes, you MUST take the ski lift. The ski lift is quite steep so if you are afraid of heights or have never been on a ski lift before, take caution. Also if you do the night skiing (again as a beginner), you cannot take the gondolas back down, you must ski back down the mountain on level Green. Otherwise if you have some experience with snow activity, it seemed like everyone else had a blast. Do not recommend for first timers.

As long as you have an Epic pass, or at least an Epic week pass, this mountain is great. I can't imagine paying more than $100 for a day pass here though. Been skiing here and Breck for years and I love them both. Keystone has beautiful views and great blue trails. Don't park at the gondola, there's a free lot for an extra 6 minute walk over to the Gondola. Cute little resort town of stores that you'll walk past.

A FAILING RESORT AS WE WITNESS THE FALL OF ONE SKIING AMERICAN DESTINATION THANKS TO BLUE STATE WOKE POLICIES. Here is another more recent and relevant story which encapsulates our own personal experience. After much excitement of the new Bergman lift opening very recently, taking skiers to an even higher elevation, some current management policies and direction may doom Keystone resort altogether. On National Customer Service day, IRONICALLY ENOUGH!!!! Jan 17, 2024- I was compelled to forward a complaint to Vail resorts' executives for the terrible hospitality and poor customer service on behalf of Keystone Resort's management desk. They treated us like livestock,- we felt hustled. We felt discarded and pushed out upon check out like if we were trespassers. We were not allowed remain parked in the guest garage beyond our check out time. While I have to recognize that this is indeed a private resort and Keystone has the right to allow and not allow people on the property, I question this policy as a paying and returning guest. I simply have the choice to either continue funding Vail / Keystone or not. So do you. Is this really the proper way to treat guests? We wanted to try and ski for maybe a couple of hours and then turn in our equipment. We hadn't been able to ski except for 2 half days mostly due to weather caused closures along with an Epic pass black out day. My family and I were very disappointed. During our last couple of days we even heard other guests complaining about the low quality of attention. Keystone resort's quality has quickly diminished over just a few short years. In the past, it was my preferred family winter vacation destination until we began to experience low quality attention and an incredible lack of care. Approximately 2 to 3 years ago now we experienced several problems with the condo we rented for the week and tried to bring it to the attention of management. These were significant issues and we were blatantly ignored. We were so upset that we chose other destinations from there forward. This year we foolishly decided to give it another chance anticipating another trip soon thereafter. We fell for a family promotion and thought to feel it out. Assuredly, our observational experience was not our imagination. Our conclusions was the result of a significantly diminished quality of service. It appears that Keystone has hired some of the wrong people in key positions for their reservations and general customer service. This has become a prime example of which type of people just should not occupy those positions. Skiing is an expensive past time and those who can afford it expect and demand high quality service. These poorly educated employees just don't understand this nor do they care. This is the wrong placement of people for this industry. It is important to say that it did not appear to be the same case in many of the departments under the greater management. In fact, the workers in the rental shop have been excellent as always. Keystone resort use to offer free cookies for the kids and wagons around town to make lugging equipment and kids easier. This has gone away along with other eroding benefits which beckoned family vacationers like us. No more characters walking around for the kids to have a surprise thrill at random, no more festivals that we have become aware of, no more parades where cookies are passed around. In fact our experience as I explained was a bit bitter and we very likely will not return and continue to fund Vail resorts/ Keystone depending on how they handle my concern forwarded on National Customer Service Day. I will update this hopefully soon. Based on this observable experience, I predict a significant loss of affluent visitors to Keystone and significant loss of promotional appeal very soon under this kind of management. I would say, avoid coming here and let's all make something else, some other place happen as a voice against continued liberal policies which further erode and lower our social standards down toward the poor standards of third world. ONE VERY POSITIVE THING I WILL ADD AND AM HAPPY TO REPORT, THERE IS STILL BIBLES AVAILABLE IN THE CONDOS. AS ALWAYS, WHERE THE WORD OF GOD IS THERE IS ALWAYS HOPE.

Two stars for the the resort being tarnished now that it's under the umbrella of the unscrupulous wokies at Vail (way to bring back segregation Vail). Otherwise a 5 star skiing experience (though I skied on the weekday, so it likely would have been unbearable lines had it been the weekend). Huge Mountain with a ton of great skiing. Best mountain I skied at after Vail and Taos Ski Valley.

So....I thought I provided guidance to all of my fellow Yelpers, but it appears I did not. Here it is!!! We have gone twice this year so far. Both times they were operating all lifts and about 2/3 of the trails. So what we liked about this mountain is how one mountain has front side trails and then a trail called Mozart on the back that you take that connects you to the next peak. I felt Mozart was a bit busy and skied off but it's not a bad trail (it's a blue). The rest of the trails were in good shape. Overall the connectivity between the peaks was nice. One thing that I thought was really nice was that their signs show you which trails are open but then it will also say groomed or moguls. I do feel that is helpful for people who don't really want to ski moguls and for people who do. The views from the third peak over are phenomenal (pic posted). You can see Breck from the top of these peaks. We found lift lines moved fast and that they honored covid rules when we were there. Lift and gondola limited to your group only. This will definitely be a mountain we spend time at. I am interested in skiing when all, or most, trails are open to get a better idea of the mtn. I felt it was limited and not as many options I would like due to the lack of trails.

So I wish I could do two reviews. All the staff in the equipment rentals and on the mountain were amazing. The skiing was fantastic. The lodging not so much. The elevator was down the entire time we were there. There we're just lots of thinking in the condo that weren't up to par. You couldn't cook anything with out the smoke alarm going off. Couldn't watch TV which normally wouldn't have been an issue but it was the NFL championship weekend. The staff would leave bags of linens in the hall ways for days.

Easily my least favorite resort in the western US. The people who ski here are incredibly reckless and as I lapped Outback I probably saw one harrowing crash every time I went up the lift. Conditions were bad but to add insult to injury they had trail boards at the top of some lifts claiming that certain trails were open... those trails weren't open. There is definitely some solid hike-to terrain but, make no mistake, this is a locals mountain. The village here also sucks and all the restaurants seemed to be owned by the same company which made for a college dining hall feel. On-mountain dining was also crappy with the BBQ restaurant being "out" of ... BBQ ... and chili ... meaning they only served fries and vegetarian chili.

The whole reservation system this year is a complete hassle and pain especially if you are spontaneous BUT it is so nice once you are on the mountain! Keystone (unlike Breck) really do enforce the Social distance guidelines. They had guests 6 feet in line, reminded guests to wear face masks, sat only groups that were together on the chair lifts.(felt badly being a solo rider on a loft for 6 but that was the chair lifts decision). The runs were nice since they were not crowded and that was amazing on a Saturday and the day after Christmas. Plenty of parking as well.

Loved going to Keystone last year before the pandemic. Got it on both a snowy and sunny day and it was crazy to see the difference! I am a pretty advanced skier so I spent most of the day towards the Outback part of the resort. It's definitely laid out strangely and you have to trek back and forth to get to your car if needed. However, if you are prepared to ski most of the day, it's a great way to escape the crowds. The snow is delightful and you can definitely find powder pockets days after a storm. I would say it's a bit less skied then Breck next door. The North and South bowl terrain is truly amazing and offers great beginner options if you've never skied backcountry. There is a bit of flats though so be advised. Overall, this is a great family friendly resort, with enough of a wild side to keep experts busy!

QUESTIONS ABOUT COMMITMENT TO SAFETY I ski with a large and growing circle of retired people who live near or are willing to commute to the slopes, particularly mid-week when there are fewer people. What we have all noticed, experienced, and are all discussing is how much less safe Keystone feels this year compared to last. It is not just a matter of overcrowding, which initially we all attributed to the lack of snow and open terrain. We've adapted to crowds and inexperienced skiers/boarders by being hyper-vigilant and seeking out terrain less attractive to those groups. But the safety issues go beyond the crowds and the usual complaints from skiers about snowboarders. We've had multiple experiences with inattentive or absent lift operators, and what seems to be a lack of communication between operators running the bottom and top of the lifts. Worse, there seems to be no interest in or procedures and policies for dealing with hit-and-run incidents. I was within 15 feet and witnessed a snowboarder in a very distinctive outfit traverse a straightaway and crash into an older man, sending them both sideways to Sunday. The boarder got back up and without a backward glance, went on. I do not know if the older man was injured, but since he had companions helping him up, I skied after the boarder. When I caught up with him, the young man was completely unapologetic, defensive, and without any idea of applicable etiquette or responsibility in the event of crashing into someone. As a clear witness, I assumed the resort would not want such a person on the mountain. I took a picture of him, and attempted to engage a nearby lift operator. There was no one actively attending the lift as people got on, and it took an extraordinary effort to get the operator's attention and get her out of her glass bubble. She was completely perplexed about her role in this situation, even though the guy was within view at that point. I took a lift and went to the ski patrol hut at the top. The five patrol guys lounging there actually scoffed at me. "There are 7000 people on the mountain," said one, rolling his eyes. Since I could not say if the older gentleman was injured, there was a collective shrug from all of them. Stunned, I inquired what would be the procedure if the man were injured. Again, a collective shrug. "It's like a hit and run in a car," explained one. I pointed out that in such cases, an authority (police) would be involved and make attempt to find the runner. One guy ventured weakly that they might call the county sheriff if someone were really a problem. A hit-and-run snowboarder apparently did not rise to that level, and there was absolutely no interest in looking at the guy's picture. "Yeah, he's not gonna look like that now, and who knows where he is," said eye-roller. The last experience, in particular, has shocked and shifted the perspective of my entire group of skiing friends. We understand and accept the risks of the sport, and do not expect particular concern from a profit-making venture that may become extinct in the next decade. But it feels as though something is wrong at the top levels of Keystone's management. Consistently inattentive lift operators is a management problem. The lack of procedures, policies, or even urgency about downed skiers/boarders is a top-down problem. I have begun to pay special attention to the absence of ski patrol on the busier runs or the slopes in general. In the last four times I've skied, the only places I've seen any ski patrol is in lodges or skiing as a group on empty challenging terrain. I love skiing Keystone's terrain, but with the dangerous lack of attention or commitment to safety, I'm not sure I will be back.

Great place for family. Everything around. Great area. Comfortable apartamento. I could've stayed for a week. Would love to come back.

Great place to ski and dine! Definitely a must visit, night skiing was wonderful!!!!!!

Almost didn't come here because I was told it's better in the winter. Glad I didn't listen. A few restaurants and many rooms with decks overlooking a lake with mountains as the backdrop. On the lake, you can paddle-board, paddle-boat, kayak, and canoe. There is also a small beach. Great views on the drive here. Highly recommended if you're in the area. Added Bonus: You might make friends with a few ducks.

We had such a great experience at Keystone! We did two half day beginner/intermediate lessons with Don and he was absolutely incredible; he taught us so much. The resort is clean, has great amenities, and is a great place to ski at. I hope to be back!

1. On Sunday 2/13/22, I did NOT see a single yellow jacket safety person the ENTIRE DAY ... many people (mostly young snowboarders) were straight-lining down the mountain ... it was crazy and very dangerous ... I don't get it ... why NO YELLOW JACKETS ? 2. My son and I ate at the Outback ... His chicken tenders were ice cold ... Actually partially frozen ... Not safe ... Not acceptable ... And the woman behind the counter was totally rude ... Like terrible, mean and confrontational ... 3. The 11 am Orange route bud driver literally almost crashed into me ... I had to jam my breaks, or they would have taken out the front of my SUV ... They we're going way way way too fast ... And later when I took that bus, the same driver was still speeding ... And every time they stopped the bus, everyone and all their equiptment flew forward ... And the driver couldn't care less ...

This is what happens when the "experienced" ski lift operator isn't paying attention after 1 child and 2 adults fall getting off the Santiago chair lift. A child fell with her snowboard getting off the chair in front of us. We saw, and as we got closer assumed the operator would stop or slow down the lift...nothing was happening. So we had to make a game plan on how to maneuver around the child which caused my mother on the far left to fall trying to move around the child, I then tripped on her skis because she was on the ground, my husband on the far right stayed on the lift or else he would have fallen on-top of us. We've been skiing here for 10years. We have NEVER experienced such inconsistency and negligence at Keystone, that's why we keep coming back. Why all the sudden the employees are not paying attention is beyond me. Even after we fell, the lift DID NOT STOP. Which hit my mother in the back of the head. And i had to duck so it wouldn't hit me in the head. My husband had time to jump off the lift, undo his snowboard bindings, and walk around to help my mother and I stand up before the lift operators even came outside. She got 12 staples in her head because THEY were not doing their jobs. And after the fact we get no response or the accident report from Vail corporate. They don't care about their customers especially when something that screams negligence on their side with their employees. Skiers beware. We will never be back.

I completely disliked this resort. Overly crowded and it is a family oriented resort. If I were with young children it d be a good spot but this is not the place if you come with 8 friends. Also the slopes were short and just too many people. All bars and restaurants crowded; very commercial.

Why does a yellow jacket stop me for going "too fast" after a lady cut me off going sideways across the mountain. I will never stop again. Looking back, I did what I thought was right and I left in a bad head space. The lady told me to give her my season pass, (I live here and pay summit taxes) and by the end she told me I may have to attend a class after previously telling me its just a "verbal warning." I will never be stopping again for a yellow jacket when their sole purpose is to harass. Winter: the time of year every single ski resort is packed. Winter for me: a time I dread as I'm not a snow bunny by any means. Although I'm not a fan of the snow, there is something magical about being in the mountains seeing the snow fall. So when our friends suggested hitting Keystone for a weekend, we weren't totally opposed. Being that the hubs and I don't ski or snowboard, we opted to hit their tubing hill - which we heard was one of a kind and worth checking out. ++ Adventure point - located at the top of the ski resort, past the ski lift - is the worlds highest tubing hill! ++ The hill is divided into "lanes" each featuring a different height! The taller the lane, the faster you'll go! ++ Staff is ultra helpful, gives you the extra push you need to get down the hill and are informative about varying heights! ++ Automatic tube lift, you can stand on! Just hop on, hold tight and the lift takes you right up to the top! +/- Sessions are hourly, which is either the perfect amount of time, or not enough - depending on your love for the outdoors! - Tickets are pricey AF. When we went, tickets were just under $25, but NOW tickets are $34/person/hour! yikes! With plenty to see and do at Keystone, I know we'll be back!

I have been coming to Keystone since 2005. Vail resorts is ruining this place. They have made all activities completely unaffordable for families. Case in point: Tubing over $60 per person and you have to buy a lift ticket $40 per person. Are you kidding me a$100 a person to go tubing!!! Go tubing at the nordic center for $20 or Frisco adventure park for a little more. Or take a sled to a hill at the Silverthorne rec center for free!

I bought an Epic Season pass this year and decided to get an early jump on the season with a 3 day and 1 night ski trip to Keystone in early December 2017. I flew into Denver, rented a car, and drive about an hour and half to Keystone. I stayed in a condo rental "Black bear" in the Keystone Village and really loved this resort. Sure the snow was limited this year for the first week of December, but the quality of the snow making, the nice terrain, and the fast lifts made this a fun trip. What I loved about Keystone is that everything is located within a 150 yard walk. Condo, ski rentals, restaurants, grocery, bars, tickets, gondola, parking, etc. was all very close and an easy walk. The night skiing was fun, but sorta like skiing in a black and white movie as it was hard to see all the bumps and moglus on the runs, but if it is not too cold, then take a few runs as the same ticket works at night.

They canceled our sleigh ride because they overbooked their reservations. They canceled hours before our time which caused us to be out money towards transportation out there which they refused to cover. We planned our trip around this activity so my friend's birthday and trip was ruined due to them overbooking their rides. If you're thinking of doing a sleigh ride in this area check out Breckinridge stables instead because they may cancel on you ay any time and you will be out money.

Great time but VERY expensive day for only having one slope open. It was almost $200 for 2 lift tickets and that didn't include the ski and boot rental. I probably should've just stayed next door at Arapahoe Ski Basin which was MUCH cheaper.

This is my first season skiing and I bought a keystone plus pass. Keystone is an amazing place to learn if you are a First timer! They have a few different learner areas that can help you get started. My favorite is Discovery mountain which is more towards the back side (you can take a bus there if you park at river run). It is so much less crowded than the front learning areas so you can more comfortably practice turning and picking up speed! I recommend getting to the resort for the first chair lift at 8:30am. By the time the clock strikes 10am the whole resort is packed! Also, for any gluten free peeps.. there are amazing GF cookies at the Mountain Top cookie shop if you're looking for a little snack!

Keystone has 1 main run that stays packed to the brim. It is crazy to see how many people are packed into schoolmarm. We avoid this resort at all costs. The runs are average at best and the green runs are always so packed that you are almost guaranteed to get hit by someone learning or someone bombing the run between all the people learning. Avoid this resort if you can.
