Sadly the apartment we had was infested with fleas! We told the company and they moved us to another apartment. However the new one had fewer bedrooms and no outdoor space, so after the trip, we politely requested a partial refund as of course, moving apartments was inconvenient and disruptive to the vacation. We were grateful to be moved, but very disappointed with the company's emails in response to our request - they were rude and completely refused to engage properly or offer any refund for the fact that we were given an apartment covered in fleas... Will not be using again.

!€3,000 withheld without proof – beware! We booked one of their properties in Biarritz, France. After our stay the owner claimed that we had damaged a sliding door and withheld €3,000 without any neutral inspection. However, the door was already faulty when we arrived. It jammed and could not be closed properly. We immediately suggested hiring an independent, neutral company to objectively assess whether the damage was due to a pre-existing defect or improper use. The owner refused and said it was difficult to find a company in summer to repair the door. We explained that we were not looking for a repair company, but for an independent inspection.(and certainly not a company personally known to the owner) On top of that, the property had noticeable cleanliness issues upon arrival, including dust (4 of us experienced severe allergic reactions) and surfaces that were not properly cleaned. There was a persistent musty smell throughout the stay. Unfortunately the owner refused an objective inspection, and €3,000 was withheld without solid proof. Our advice to future guests: Document all defects in writing and with photos/videos upon arrival to avoid being held responsible for pre-existing damage.

€3,000 Deposit Still Missing – Not Luxury, Just a Scam We stayed at one of Christophe Grosjean’s “luxury” properties in Biarritz. The house had mold, insects, and dirty floors. On arrival, he demanded a €3,000 deposit we hadn’t been told about — and weeks later, he still hasn’t returned it. This is not luxury hospitality. It’s deception. Avoid.

Christophe Grosjean: €3,000 Withheld, Zero Accountability Mr. Christoph Grosjean, your reply reads less like the words of a professional in “luxury hospitality” and more like an emotional outburst aimed at discrediting a guest rather than addressing the facts. Let’s deal with the facts which you have avoided entirely: 1. The €3,000 Dispute On the second day of our stay, the sliding door could no longer be closed. You could have proposed hiring an independent, neutral inspector to assess the issue, but instead you claimed that in summer it was impossible to even find someone to fix the door and now you state it will take you “one month” to evaluate the so-called damage. Withholding €3,000 without impartial verification is not luxury service, it is opportunism. You are still holding this money. 2. Misrepresentation of Safety Before booking, you assured us the villa was in one of Biarritz’s safest and most prestigious neighborhoods. Later, you told us it was in a “dangerous area with frequent break-ins.” That is not just a contradiction it’s a deliberate misrepresentation. 3. Unprofessional and Irregular Demands Luxury operators do not request €2,000 in cash under the table or spring an undisclosed €3,000 deposit upon arrival. These practices are not only unprofessional, they are deeply questionable. 4. Condition of the Property Mold in the cellar, insect infestations, floors so dirty we could not even walk barefoot, and cleanliness issues severe enough to trigger allergic reactions among guests are not compatible with the word “luxury.” They are a breach of the most basic hospitality standards. Your attempt to shift the conversation to irrelevant, unverified accusations is transparent damage control.

BEWARE OF KEYWEEK & CHRISTOPHE GROSJEAN The most arrogant host we’ve ever met. Christophe Grosjean sold us a “luxury villa” at 10 Avenue des Chasseurs claiming it was in a safe neighborhood. After we paid, he admitted it was in a crime-ridden area with frequent break-ins. My family and I stayed there for a couple of days and had a horrible experience. 0 AC, complicated door codes and bad service He withheld €3,000 from us over a sliding door issue without proof, demanded €2,000 cash off the books, and ran the property like a scam — dirty floors, mold, insects, nothing close to luxury. Instead of accountability, we got arrogance, excuses, and zero professionalism. 👉 Avoid KEYWEEK at all costs. Total misrepresentation.

🚨 WARNING: KEYWEEK & Christophe Grosjean = Scam 🚨 €3,000 withheld + €2,000 cash extortion — DO NOT trust this company. I stayed at the 10 Avenue des Chasseurs property and it was the worst rental experience. Christophe Grosjean is the most arrogant and dishonest host I’ve ever dealt with. • He forced us to pay €2,000 in cash outside the Airbnb platform, threatening he would not give us the house otherwise. That’s extortion, not hospitality. • He then withheld €3,000 of our deposit arbitrarily, refusing to bring in an independent inspector and arrogantly insisting it would take him “a month” to review the so-called damages. • Before booking, Christophe told my family the house was in a safe, prestigious neighborhood. After we checked out , he admitted it was in a crime-ridden area with frequent break-ins. This is outright misrepresentation. • The TV didn’t work, the sofa was filthy and dusty, and I got allergies from the dirt. Nothing about this property matched the word “luxury.” KEYWEEK and Christophe Grosjean hide behind the “luxury” label but operate with zero accountability, shady cash demands, and arrogant contempt for guests. 👉 Do not work with KEYWEEK. Do not trust Christophe Grosjean.

After reading other guests’ negative experiences we were disappointed to discover many of the same issues during our own stay. The property may be marketed as “luxury” but the service and management didn’t come close to matching that standard. We found the communication unprofessional, the pricing opaque, and the extra charges excessive. The general cleanliness of the property was well below expectations for a high-end rental. Seeing similar complaints from other travelers suggests this isn’t an isolated incident but rather a recurring pattern. Luxury is more than nice photos it’s transparency, honesty, and consistent quality, none of which we experienced here. One of the biggest surprises was the huge deposit demanded on arrival which we had not been told about beforehand.

Well...it's difficult to know exactly where to start, there are so many good things to say. Greg met us at the apartment (Petite Atalaye) and was so very helpful and enthusiastic. He had been very kind as, even before arrival, we needed a few additional things sorting, such as flowers etc. He gave us excellent advice about local cafes and restaurants and trips along the coast. Greg has a huge amount of local knowledge that you can actually rely on. The apartment is the height of tasteful, modern, luxury…the kitchen and bathrooms are fitted to THE highest standard. Just completely comfortable in every way. There is an excellent TV and Bose stereo equipment available. The view from the apartment has to be the best in Biarritz, with panoramic views over the sea. The balcony was superb and we managed to have a light lunch overlooking the sea…even in February! Parking is really easy just outside the door but a private garage is available at the rear. This will be such a bonus in the summer months. It’s possible to leave the car in the garage for the week as there is so much to see and do in Biarritz…a wonderfully stylish place. It was a perfect break…now how many times can you truly say that? We honestly didn't want to leave. Just faultless. Thanks Greg…we hope to see you again very soon, your properties really are the highest standard and you are a true professional.
