I placed an order for pick-up and went through the drive-thru. When I arrived I was told my order would take another 20 minutes, and was instructed to park and come inside to pick it up. Despite receiving an app notification that my food was ready, I was again told inside that it would be another 20 minutes. At this time, we were the only customers present—there was no one inside or in the drive-thru. While we waited, we noticed the employees gathering their belongings and preparing to leave, even though there was still an hour before closing. They repeatedly made comments about wanting to go home, which came across as passive-aggressive and unprofessional. After about 30 minutes, another customer walked in and was not greeted; it took several moments before an employee approached him, and even then the worker’s body language and facial expressions suggested a lack of interest in helping him. Overall, this experience was very disappointing, and I do not plan to return to this location. I understand it was late at night, but that does not excuse disrespectful or dismissive service, and I did not appreciate how the situation was handled.
