Discovered this gem of a hotel while walking about. It was during TET (Vietnamese New Year) when many places are over-priced or simply full. We agreed a bargain price for 5 nights during TET.||This is a small family run hotel. The entry lobby on 1st floor is quite impressive with heavy wooden furniture and a lovely small seating area overlooking the front. This was a nice place to relax with a morning coffee (included in room price). ||The room we stayed in was very good value, very clean, fairly spacious, with a small balcony as well as hot water, TV, bottled water, a fridge and a fan and aircon (although we did not use the aircon as the cool breeze from the balcony was sufficient in January. Unusually for this type of building/hotel there was a lift. They also offer motorcycle hire at a very good rate.||The hotel is in a nice quiet location just a few minutes walk from the boulevard and there are a number of restaurants close by. ||The Vietnamese family owners were the most memorable part of our stay. Although their English was very limited they worked so hard to ensure our stay was perfect and were always smiling. And we were honoured to be invited to their TET celebration lunch. They wanted nothing in return but hosted a wonderful lunch with family and us plus an American couple who were also guests. This was the highlight of our trip to Vung Tau. It is because of the outstanding and welcoming treatment we received, we decided to add their hotel to TripAdvisor and create the 1st review.||This is a small, simple, economic, very well presented, family run hotel which we would absolutely return to. And because of the way we were treated during our stay we'd rate the hotel 6 stars if that were possible.||JandS
