I love this store and have had several good interactions with sales associates. I read over some of the other reviews and honestly waiting outside for an associate to become available is not uncommon. I was in NYC this week and it was absolutely frigid and I had to wait at several stores. Unfortunately, their have been too many robberies and companies need to ensure the safety of staff and clients.

Like some other posters, I had a strange and off putting experience. The front doorman would not let me into the store even as 2 others exited, said I had to wait for a sales person to come get me. I was wearing a Celine purse, Moncler coat, diamond earrings but apparently did not pass muster. No apology, no time estimate, and it was freezing! Message received — I’ll buy a different designer belt from any one of the many options in the neighborhood and wont come back.

Had a great experience here with the sales associate Bryant who was extremely prompt, kind and attentive. Looking forward to going to the store again soon

Walked over to the store in Soho to purchase the medium Lotus, which I spotted on line but decided to go in person. Apparently, I did not pass muster, because they did not even allow me to walk into the store!!!! I realize that I was not dressed to the nines on a Sunday afternoon, but how disgusting. Never, ever will I buy anything from you. Plenty of places sell $2500 bags, with a far far better attitude.

Having traveled from New Jersey to visit this store to try on dresses for my rehearsal dinner, I was disappointed to find that the air conditioning was not working, making it uncomfortably hot inside. Despite the store's beauty, the excessively hot temperature took away from the overall experience.

To the store manager, security staff ,floor staff and whomever else it concerns , I am writing to express my utter disgust and outrage at the abhorrent behavior displayed by the security and sales personnel at your SoHo store during a recent visit. My wife, along with her friends who are black woman professionals, were subjected to racial profiling and discrimination as they were blatantly followed around the store by security. This deplorable act not only displays a complete disregard for basic human decency but also perpetuates harmful stereotypes and prejudices against people of color. It sends a clear message that individuals who are black are automatically presumed to be suspicious or up to no good simply based on the color of their skin. Your employees behavior is not only morally reprehensible but also illegal. Profiling based on race violates the civil rights of individuals and is a clear violation of anti-discrimination laws. By singling out customers solely because of their race, your establishment is not only engaging in racist practices but also opening itself up to potential legal consequences. It is imperative that immediate action is taken to address this issue and ensure that all staff members undergo comprehensive training on diversity, inclusion, and unconscious bias. Additionally, steps must be taken to hold accountable those responsible for perpetuating such discriminatory behavior. As consumers, we have the power to hold businesses accountable for their actions. I urge you to take action to rectify this situation and demonstrate a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all customers. James

This remarkable fusion of architecture and interior design is a rarity in Soho today, showcasing the product’s beauty with elegance. The attentive and exceptional staff further elevate the experience.

I love Khaite and shop the brand fairly regularly online. I've been into the store a few times but never purchased. Never had any issues with sales associates and all have been kind. However, during my most recent visit, I found a belt I loved. I asked for help by a brunette, long haired associate and she was very rude. She was barely helpful when I asked for sizing or style help, implied I was "large" by stating I got the biggest belt that Khaite offers when I asked what size she thinks could work for me, and minimally engaged. Fine - whatever. Went back home and tried on the belt again and it was clearly way too large for me. So I went back the next day to see if I could exchange it for a smaller size. Unfortunately, I was assigned to the same associate. She was incredibly rude, even more so than the day before. When I landed up having to return the belt since my size wasn't available, she took my card and simply handed it back after the return was done and said thanks and walked away. The store itself is beautiful, other associates have been helpful, and I love Khaite. But I know I won't go back there because of her or make it clear I want to not work with her again.
