Awesome. 4x4 required for the soft sand. Wonderful bush experience. Amazing camp sites that are private. Ablutions are great. Site shop very poor no stock. Great birding and animal sightings

Beautiful place to stay on your way North or South in Botswana. The main areas and ablutions are nicely and neatly done. The campsites are beautiful, spacious with braai and running water under the Baobab trees. The food was really good and we had a great guide during the game drive. All good price-quality. For a community trust it is pretty well organised.

Out Botswana Holliday trip started with Khama Rhino Sanctuary in Botswana. We went camping , no electricity ,but we knew. Hence why we had solar etc. A really nice get away with plenty Rhinos to see. We'll done to them for safeguarding the Rhinos. Will most definitely visit them again. Also had their traditional food.

I saw 10 rhinos in the 2 main pans/waterholes on a 2-hour 4x4 self-drive 14 km, plus a few antelope, zebra and Buffalo. good price. good 4x4 roads. bring your own park roads map, none are provided free, they want to sell you one. I did not camp there.
gate closes 5 pm.

We stayed in the cottages that are quite far from the main buildings. You must be given a ride to the cabins and picked up when you want to leave. The cabin was basic and rustic but was comfortable and clean. There is no heat or air conditioning, so be prepared for that. The night sky was incredible out there and we could bird watching out the window. Our cabin was set for 2 sets of twin beds, 2 in a bedroom and 2 outside the bedroom with a shared bathroom. Since there is no air conditioning or other mechanical noises, it is very quiet.

We had a day trip on the drive from Maun to Gaborone. Fantastic place. Very friendly staff, and more importantly lots of rhino sightings! We saw rhinos at the bird hide, and all waterholes. The admission price was also very reasonable in comparison to the extortionate Botswana National Parks. Would definitely recommend a visit. Afternoon is the best time to see rhinos, but we also saw many in the morning.

We camped at the sanctuary and found the camp sites are large and well spaced for privacy. The ablutions are clean and close by. There is a shop on the premises that has the basic necessities. We did not use the restaurant or swimming pool. We did a self-drive game drive and saw a fair amount of game. Well worth the visit.

Great for viewing Rhino, as there are a lot of them in a relatively small park. We saw ten in an hour. Chalets are basic with a fridge and kettle but no cutlery. Bathrooms need a bit of maintenance, but the remote location makes up for it.
