Neighbourhood spotlight: Lodhi, Delhi - SilverKris

"A popular spot for Mughlai-style dishes that highlights the cuisine’s Persian and Central Asian roots; best known for robust biryanis and tikkas (marinated chunks roasted in a clay oven), and recommended to visit with others to sample the wide variety of dishes on offer." - Meenakshi J

This place gives you an old school feel. Food is tasty and costly. Their main delicacy hover around nonveg food items as i picked Hariyaali Paneer rolls and it was okay okay type then i won't be judgemental about veg dishes.

You can visit here for the food. Great quality, the mutton kebab was very tasty. Considering the location the cost is on the higher side and quantity is comparatively low. Average ambience, limited seating capacity, and it's self service.

Food was overall good. But quantity was too less compared to exorbitant prices.

The main issue is that the staff is not adequate to handle operations. Food quality is great, but staffing not enough to handle dine-in as well as take-aways. That hampers the overall operations of the outlet. Super location and a goodwill that few brands enjoy. Overall a must visit place for the food.

Taste was not upto the mark, as we expected. It got even difficult to finish Mutton Korma. The only dish that was tasty was mutton kababs.

Khan Chacha is famous for its small number of non vegetarian dishes including rolls, curries and biryani. There's seating of around 30 people there on first and second floor. Food is good. You need to order and pay at the counter while when food is ready, they serve at the table. Furniture furnishing are very basic and seating is not comfortable.

Visited this restaurant recently for the first time. We ordered mutton korma, taftan, rumali, veg biryani, hariyali kabab, ice tea, shikanji and coke. Mutton korma taste was authentic old delhi. Taftan a persian bread was good. Veg biryani gave homely taste with peas and fried onions. Hariyali kababs were from the seekha and their taste was delicious. Drinks were not upto the mark. It is located in khan market and I think this place is quite renowned. Attaching photos of the food for ready reference. A must visit outlet. Small in size with 6-7 tables. You need to place order at the counter and then pick your food based on the number displayed on the screen . Self service concept they follows. Food was halal. They also serve mutton nihari, butter chicken, chicken and mutton biryanis. I think this place is famous for its rolls.
