Overpriced and Underwhelming
Tried Khan Murjan recently, and while the ambiance is nice, the value just isn’t there.
The appetizers were okay—spicy potatoes were the standout—but the mains? Outrageous. The Mixed Grill was AED 114 for a couple of meat pieces, one lamb chop, and a skewer. The Sultani Kebab (Irani mix) was AED 145, which is honestly a crime. Portions are small, and the flavor, while fine, doesn’t justify those prices.
This place is clearly aimed at tourists who don’t know better. Locals or residents know you can get more food—and better—for way less at plenty of great Lebanese or Persian spots around Dubai.
You’re paying for the location, not the food. I won’t be back.
