"A perennial favorite among locals for Chiang Mai’s iconic khao soi, this bustling hawker-court-style spot beside a temple and the Ping River serves a signature bowl piled with tender beef or chicken, springy egg noodles and a rich, coconut-laced curry broth. The menu extends beyond khao soi to a full spread of northern Thai staples, including khanom jeen nam ngiaw (fermented rice noodles in a tangy tomato-based pork curry) and tam khanun (spicy pounded jackfruit). Come hungry and expect a crowd." - SilverKris
Very good and rich khao soi here. Lots of herbs and spices... so fragrant when they were stirring the large pot of curry
Wife had beef which was tender and I had chicken. Both good.
Pork satay was very tender . Sauce and pickles go very well with satay.
Seating : indoor covered , non air conditioned.
Parking : temple beside shop.

Khao Soi Samerjai is located right next to the street so you may experience a bit of background noise. Nevertheless the food is great. I ordered the chicken khao soi and it was fantastic. The place seems authentic and the soup is rich, creamy and spicy. I recommend going here just for the food. Thank you 🙏🏼

Really good Khao Soi and super affordable. We had chicken Khao Soi for 70thb. It was a little bit busy but we managed to find a table. They are quick too so we didn’t have to wait a lot. The skewers are good too.

I usually like my khao soi on the sweeter side where the coconut milk is front and centre, but this khao soi might have changed the game for me. It leans savoury and spicy, just very satisfying. No wonder it’s packed with locals!

Just a normal food place. Food were good. Recommended on the pork satay and fish cakes.

Great food at increíble price. No nonsense place, which looks average and lacking anything special, but they deliver excellent food consistently. I recommend the jackfruit paste (than khanun) and the rice mixed pork in banana leaf (kao jeaw).

Ordered the chicken Khao Soi. Gravy packs a gastronomic punch with its spiciness and rich flavour. Chicken drumlets were tender and well soaked in the gravy.

Honestly, it was one of The worst thai food in Thailand. Untasty, cold food. If you can, you should choose other place to eat. Unrecommend!
