Khao Yai Art Museum Date of visit: 2025 Dec 15. Time of visit: 2:00 pm to 2:25 pm. Overall: 7.833/10. Sight Seeing / Activity: 7. Indoor and Outdoor Ventilation: 10. Ambience: N.A. Location: 6.5. Expected activity 0.5 hours. Price Entry: 50 THB. Note: You would need to manually write your own details to "register" yourself. Sight Seeing: 3 small indoor art galleries, 1 outdoor art space with a simple green landscape and 1 souvenir shop on the second floor. There are several art drawings and a few sculptures or statues in the indoor art galleries, and several statues and sculptures in the outdoor art space. Indoor and Outdoor Ventilation: The 3 small indoor art galleries have air conditioning and 1 of them is slightly warmer than the rest. The outdoor art space is open to sky and there are no shelters to provide shade. As the outdoor art space would only take about 5 to 10 mins of exploration, there might not be a need to carry an umbrella to shield against the sun for such a short duration. Location: It is about 20 mins ride from hotels in Khao Yai. Khao Yai is about 2.5 hours ride from Bangkok.

• A spot combining a small art gallery with a decent cafe. The overall experience is okay with clean, peaceful, and not crowded, but there’s not much to explore. For fans of Ajarn Chalermchai, there’s a dedicated room showcasing some of his pieces. That might be the highlight for some visitors.

Free admission. You just need to register at the entrance. The staff is approachable and helpful. There are 3 galleries, cafe and souvenir shop on second floor and garden area with statues and other art pieces. There are enough parking spaces.

Amazing place! It’s 50 baht entrance ticket. Some people said it’s free so maybe because we’re tourists. But totally worth it in my opinion. You have to visit the cafe area as well. Stunning view

This is actually my second time visiting this museum and the paintings still amaze me. Very talented artists. No entrance fee. But you need to log a few of your details. The museum has 3 indoor galleries and outdoor sculptures as well. They have a coffee and a souvenir shop on the top floor. Great view from the coffee shop as well. It’s a must visit museum when in Khao yai. Need a private car to go there.

I went to Khao Yai Art Museum last Wednesday, and it honestly turned out to be one of my favorite spots in Khao Yai. It was my first time there, and I didn’t expect it to be this beautiful and relaxing. The museum is surrounded by so much greenery — it already felt peaceful the moment I arrived. Inside, the art was stunning. There’s a mix of modern and traditional Thai pieces, and some of them really caught my attention even though I’m not usually that into art. The sculptures outside were also amazing, especially with the sunlight and mountains in the background — it made the whole place feel alive. What I really loved was how quiet it was. There weren’t many people, so I could take my time and just walk around without rushing. The staff were friendly and gave space for visitors to enjoy on their own, which made it feel even more comfortable. After exploring, I stopped by the café next to the museum — good coffee, nice view, and a perfect spot to just sit back and take everything in. If you’re planning to visit Khao Yai, I totally recommend dropping by this museum. It’s peaceful, inspiring, and honestly, I left feeling lighter and more refreshed.

Beautiful curation of artworks!! Once at Khao Yai, don't miss this spot. Thanks to Scents of Siam Travel and Tours Thailand, a Bangkok based travel agency, they made our museum tour experience smooth and hassle-free.
