I went here for happy hour, and it was an amazing experience. Nick took such good care of us- timing cocktails perfectly, answering questions with knowledge and expertise, and I forming us about the restaurant's upcoming events. The drinks were great, and we loved the Asian inspired flavors. I wish they had more vegetarian options and a happy hour, but overall it was a great experience. I went when they first opened and didn't have as good of an experience. The bartender was wearing a t-shirt from his other bartending job and was a little rude. I'm very happy we decided to give this cocktail Bar a second chance now that they've been open for longer and have smoothed out some of their initial hiccups. Once I can guarantee a good experience the majority of the time, I am open to changing my review to 5 stars.

Talk about a hidden gem! The entrance is literally in a back alley, and the vibe is absolutely perfect! It’s a quaint, well styled space that makes you feel welcome. The staff was so friendly and informative and we never felt rushed or burdened. The cocktails were so dang good! They were unique and very well made! Probably the best take on a gin and tonic that I’ve ever had. With this kind of specialty bar, the cocktails are gonna be a bit pricey (averaging around $15), but I promise they are worth every penny! Do yourself a favor and get over there! You won’t regret it!

This place is great and such a vibe. All the workers seem like they are having fun. The drinks were great. When we showed up for our reservation they had two extra drinks and gave them to us on the house! The food was also really good, though they are not the biggest portions for what you pay. Over all such a great experience and I will definitely be making this a go to spot!

Google
This place absolutely exceeded expectations. We didn’t try the food but the drinks were absolutely outstanding. The pistachio one was one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. The bartenders were wonderful and attentive - on top of their game! The music was a whole vibe. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend!

Khla is an amazing cocktail bar. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. The drinks were creative, unique and all delicious. Will be a new regular place for me!

Loved this alleyway Cambodian bar. What a cool Concept and some awesome drinks. So Lom Wong ( Thai restaurant) is in the front of this place.. and this is technically the garage of that house! Very cool. Love that Phoenix has such cultural places.. they have no food btw but can eat dinner at the Thai place and have drinks here.

Came to Khla for a date night. Such a unique spot, awesome drinks - we tried a few drinks including the Ragged Sailor & a few others. Great vibe Taylor and Tyka are great , friendly , and really care about your experience. Everyone I’ve recommended this place to loves it , check it out, you won’t regret it!

Google
Incredible cocktails with flavor and depth like you've never experienced. Unexpected and overjoyed with this spot. Edit. This place has good drinks but it's so snobby about reservations. I've been 5 minutes late and had my reservation taken because "it's Saturday day night". Look, it has fantastic drinks, but this places strict oddities with reservations is exhausting. 4/5, bordering 3 with the attitude you'll get at the door.

Yelp
Khla is a bar in downtown Phoenix that highlights Asian flavors with an emphasis on Southeast Asia. I came with my group of four after dinner. We were greeted right away and led to the cool spot in the back. Laidback and fun vibes. I ordered a Ragged Sailor. It has coffee and chicory infused Japanese vodka, amaro, palm sugar, cayenne, cocoa bitters, and topped with pandan crema. The drink was a delicious and unique twist on the espresso martini. Our server saw (and probably overheard me saying) that I was enjoying the crema so much, he brought me a small dish with just the crema... such a sweet gesture! My party also ordered crispy wings. I didn't try it, but heard it was yummy. I look forward to returning and trying another fun cocktail!

Yelp
Khla: It means "Tiger" in Khmer. The Year of the Tiger is about to finish up in a month on January 22, 2023 so let's celebrate early by writing about Khla! Khla is an Asian-owned business that serves Asian-inspired small plates and drinks. They even carry a nice variety of Asian beers. On this particular evening, I had a Ragged Sailor and nabbed a wing off my friend's plate. The Ragged Sailor was truly a delicious cocktail. The Ragged Sailor, described as having coffee and chicory infused Japanese vodka, amaro, palm sugar, cayenne, and cocoa bitters topped with pandan crema, was truly a delight. My colleague enjoyed the pandan crema so much, she even asked our amazing and nice server for a small dish of crema which he happily obliged. Awesome! As for the wing I nabbed, it was super crispy and oh so good. If I hadn't been snacking the whole day, I could see myself placing an order just for myself! Khla is super cool. You enter through an alley wall and they make dining al fresco a pleasure with their lanterns and cozy atmosphere. Don't forget to take in all the art murals ― they're hand-painted by local artists!

Yelp
Came here on a Friday night and had a great time. Staff were all nice and we liked the music/environment. Good selection of cocktails and we loved every drink we tried. They also serve a small food menu that partners with the Thai restaurant next door. Definitely make reservations here, everyone who didn't got turned away at the door because they were booked up on a Friday. Would come back the next time we come to Phoenix!

Yelp
Cute vibes and music. We got the fried chicken wings which were really good. I can't remember the name of my drink but I had Ube in it. It was okay, not bad but not something I would order again. My friend for their version of an espresso martini and it had some type Of pepper in it. I did not like the yall taste of it at all. The service was a little slow but I love the vibe.

Yelp
We made a reservation here for early-ish on New Year's Eve. We sat inside since it was cold. I wasn't really impressed with the inside decor and would sit outside if it's warm out. Everyone was very friendly. Kaiju was definitely spirit forward as it states in the menu. I thought it was just ok because I don't like spirit forward but he loved it. Love language is really good but a little sweet so half of it was a perfect amount for me. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Fierce little cocktail bar! We had the "Ragged Sailor" ($15) which has coffee and chicory infused Japanese vodka, amaro, palm sugar, cayenne, cocoa bitters, and pandan crema! The pandan cream knocks it out of the park. Somewhere between an espresso martini and a cold brew with cold foam. We also had the "Manilla Vice" ($15), Filipino rum, dark Jamaican rum, ube, coconut, calamansi, orange, and pineapple. This one was well-balanced and refreshing like an ube fruit punch. For food we had the "Tua Samun Prai" ($8) which is toasted peanuts with Makrut lime leaf, lime, crispy shallots, crispy garlic, and toasted chili - excellent snack, the crunchy lime leaves were our favorite part. We also got the "Khao Kiep Kung" ($7), shrimp crackers with house made sauce nam prik pao, also a delicious snack but a high price for what you get. Service was great, multiple people checked on us. The door man was nice too. We made a reservation for a Saturday which I recommend. There is street parking, metered parking, and a parking garage nearby, but definitely recommend the lightrail as it is a short walk to it.

Yelp
I'm a skeptic with cocktail bars since the pandemic. For some reason we, as a society, decided it was ok to charge $18 for a martini that you could have done better at home for $1 or gotten an equal representation at Applebee's for like $7 at happy hour. But here we are. So we're left with the choice of paying or foregoing and, I typically forego unless that cocktail is something I'm not able to recreate. Let me tell you about KHLA...you cannot recreate these drinks. They are art. They are perfection. If I wanted to recreate one of these it'd take me days and about $60 in ingredient purchases and then it wouldn't be better. It'd be a cheap knockoff. These are the Louis Vuitton, the Porsche, the Rolex of cocktails that actually deserve their price. In short, there is value. The service is fantastic, the atmosphere is cool and intimate, and it's the perfect nightcap place after dinner (but they also have great food). Go. And get a Dessert Jade.

Yelp
Stopped by Khla for a drink with a friend and we were so happy with our experience. We were promptly seated even without a reservation at a table inside. The lanterns outside were such a vibe and the inside was just as cute. The smell of incense in the air. You can tell this place cares about both their cocktails and the ambience. The service was amazing as well with our servers being so attentive and nice. My friend and I both ordered the Silk Road which was a silky smooth bourbon based cocktail with a Thai tea and coconut accent. Amazing! I'll be back to try more of their drinks.

Yelp
Such a great spot...! If I was closer to Downtown PHX, Khla would definitely be a regular hangout. Great service. Great cocktails. Great food (which happens to come from Lom Wong which is steps away and an incredible experience in itself..!) Great bartenders (got to chat with Dustin...thanks man!) Will be a go to stop any time I'm in Downtown. Absolutely need to make resy on Tock though to make sure you get a seat..!

Yelp
Best to get a reservation! This new bar is a cool new spot to check out. Really cool Asian inspired drinks, creative ingredients, in a well thought out menu. Situated next door to a new Thai restaurant, Lom Wong, that has also been receiving great reviews. Everyone go support this place, because downtown needs places like this to continue to grow it's diversity, creativity and small business culture. The vibe is cool backyard alley, gotta be "in the know", recently grand opened, creative drink menu for the adventurous townie. With drinks like Saigon Sour and Silk Road, varying notes of coconut, Thai tea, & tamarind, the flavors are unique and tasty. Go try them all. We had a group of 8 and we sipped and tasted a bunch of bases from vodka to bourbon to mezcal and everything in between. What a treat! We had a great time!!

Yelp
It's been too long! Back again to check out the new menu. THRILLED to see the Silk Road is still there and in love with the new low-abv Lemon Soda Shorty.

Yelp
Khla will provide you with a cocktail experience unlike anything else in DTPHX! Every drink on the menu is crafted with unique distinctive characteristics that will blow you away. I had the Manila Vice, which tastes like taro milk tea, and the other drink we had was the devil's deal. I would get both again! The bar will provide you with a personalized exclusive feel. The mixologists will approach you at your table and help with recommendations to make sure you enjoy your experience with them. The ambiance will set you up for the perfect mood to enjoy every sip you take. You will no longer feel like you are in phoenix, but somewhere in Southeast Asia. The place is small, so I would recommend getting a reservation before heading over. My biggest regret was not ordering anything off the snack menu, because the table next to us was enjoying the bites, and it smelled amazing.

Yelp
A neat little bar tucked away in an alley in downtown Phoenix. They have a small plate menu with food items coming from the Thai restaurant next door, and an extensive drink list. The decor is pretty neat, and makes you feel like you've stepped out of downtown Phoenix. KHLA does a good job with the Asian theme, without it feeling forced or tacky.

Yelp
What a unique speakeasy-ish bar! The place was quite busy at 10:30pm on a Wednesday but we were seated right away. All their cocktails have an Asian flair and thoughtfully created. The Devil's Deal had the perfect level of spiciness. If you're an ube fan, you will love Manila Vice, which is on the sweeter side (but not too sweet). They are also very accommodating if you want a non-alcoholic drink and made a great mocktail for us. The ambiance and service were amazing as well. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
A couple friends and I visited khla after we visited lom wongs and we all really enjoyed our drinks! The ambiance of their patio is really nice, with murals and hanging lanterns. The drinks were expensive but tasty. I tried the Silk Road and really enjoyed it. If you're in the area, give it a try!

Yelp
Khla Phoenix, a southeast Asian cocktail bar in downtown's Arts District, has brought an immersive Asian-inspired aesthetic to the food and beverage scene. Once you step through the heavy iron gate onto the patio, you are whisked away to another world. Cambodian space rock pumps through the speakers, and white paper lanterns are strung across the sky. Monochromatic murals in white grace the raven-colored walls, created by local tattoo artist Malia Hee. On the black walls above floral patterned vinyl table cloths, film boxes display iconic Cambodian and Vietnamese movie posters, crafted by Local graphic artist Dump La Rock. This space is nostalgia. For co-owner Tyka's childhood, for bar manager Dustin Doan's Vietnamese heritage. The cocktail program is a taste of nostalgia for these guys, combining many Asian flavors from Vietnam to Japan. Featured is the bright green cocktail, "Arcade Dreams" With a Japanese gin, Midori (a Japanese muskmelon flavored liqueur) paired with dry vermouth, lemon, and an effervescent tonic. A pure taste of nostalgia. Days of Thunder A southwest meets southeast Asian cocktail with Raicilla, turmeric, Calpico, lime, grapefruit and ginger bitters (an anti-inflammatory elixir) Devils Deal Oaxaca meets Cambodia with Thai chili infused @ilegalmezcal espadin/hazelnut/lemongrass/yum berry/lime/pineapple/peanut oi

Yelp
If I lived closer, KHLA ("tiger" in the official and national language of Cambodia, Khmer) would totally be my regular bar. Sitting outside, you truly feel like you could be in Southeast Asia. The ambiance they've managed to create here is nothing short of remarkable! The alleyway entrance is the first indication you're entering hipster bar coolness; the black-light sign with the tiger is the second. The Asian-inspired cocktail bar opens up to a narrow indoor-outdoor area with black walls, hand-painted white line murals, intimate seating, and rows of hanging lanterns dancing overhead, creating a space that feels unlike anything else in Phoenix. The cocktails are just as inviting, with ingredients guided by Asia -- Filipino rum, Japanese gin, and Thai chili-infused mezcal, plus flavors like peach bitters, pandan crema, and peanut oil. One of the unique drinks that I tried here was the Ragged Sailor. I considered it as their version of an Espresso Martini but it definitely has its own signature. The green pandan crema on top makes for an Instagrammable drink that resembles a grasshopper (with way more booze, of course!). I also tried the Silk Road cocktail which is a must for coconut lovers. For as busy as they get, service outside was efficient and unobtrusive. I was impressed by the variety of other guests here: couples on dates, groups of friends hanging out, even some after-work colleagues coming to relax. Indeed, there is something here for everyone. I sat outside for my visit but I did pop indoors and the space was cozy and more romantic. On a future visit, this is where I will sit so I can chat with the staff and learn more about the menu. I really look forward to seeing how this space develops as it is still so new. Bottom line: an exciting addition to downtown Phoenix's ever-growing nightlife scene! I have to say that on nearly every level, the team behind this bar has nailed it. Our waiter alone has spent more than a decade working in some of the Valley's top bars. This is a thoughtful team that is trying to elevate the cocktail scene and really create an experience. KHLA is small and I would strongly recommend making reservations in advance if you want to experience it. There is a service charge for parties of five or more. #AsianOwned #AsianOwnedOnYelp

Yelp
I am so happy to see highballs on the menu! I probably should read the name of the drink before I ordered. Tiger jaw name probably mean a strong drink, and sure it is super strong and manly. We came on Sunday around 6ish and got seated right away. The bar is cool. We did not get any food because we just had dinner next door. Cool concept and will go back for sweet highball (if they have one)
google avatar

Yelp
Backyard cocktail bar! KHLA is a fun quaint bar with some Asian inspired flare. I love the Thai music playing in the background! I'm generally a basic when it comes to ordering cocktails; I like it neat. Needless to say, it was a hot day and I needed something refreshing and lucky me they had a refreshing menu. I shot for the Love Language; coconut oil washed cognac, americano rosa, orgeat, lemon, creole bitters. Okay, aside from the cognac and lemon, who cares! The drink was sour and bitter, but chill enough to sooth my warmth. Plus, it came out pretty! They serve Highball cocktails which has a more bubbly texture to it; definitely my next go! KHLA has a full bar which has some local beers and along with your typical Asian beers. However, why go so basic when they have such an eclectic menu! Enjoy!

Yelp
Super cute hidden jem. Pop up with some intentions of permanency. Come here for a great cocktail to get the night started or for a chill vibe. Nothing fancy just good and carefully crafted drinks. The Jade with pistachio is like nothing you've ever had. You will be happy you tried it!

Yelp
Khla is the best kept secret in all of downtown Phoenix. My husband and I were visiting from out of town & we almost didn't come here at the end of our night...but I'm so glad we did. I had this place on my list of yelp bookmarks & totally assumed it was Thai based on the fact it was connected to the Thai restaurant up front. I was in the restroom & it dawned on me that KHLA is also the Khmer word for tiger (I'm Cambodian). Anyways, finding out that this place is Khmer-owned was a happy accident & I'm so happy that I we came. I love that they got the Cambodian rock n roll oldies playing. Love me some Sinn Sisamouth and Ros Sereysothea tunes. iykyk. We didn't make reservations but got seated right away at the bar. It goes without saying but this bar is 21+ so be prepared to show IDs at the door. Drinks were so delicious. Our bartender Dustin made us our libations, and they were soooo good. We ordered a Devil's Deal, Day of Thunder, and Manila Vice - all of which were 10/10. Manila Vice tastes like boozy Boba and if you hadn't tried it, you should. I rly wish I could have tried the Days of Thunder w/Raicilla but since the bar was out of Raicilla, I had it w Tequila instead (Dustin offered me the option of having it w Tequila or Mezcal). It was still very tasty. Service was amazing, and I can't wait to come back next time we're in Phoenix! The vibes are immaculate. Please support this business when you're in town!

Yelp
Khla showed up on my radar via an AZ Central article. I have been twice now, and have thoroughly enjoyed each time. Tucked away from the main street down the alley way, the unassuming door opens up to an ambient and welcoming atmosphere. The lanterns and murals truly set the scene and allow for visitors to be transported out of Phoenix. The indoor space is cozy, however the outdoor space, while not huge as well, allows for each party to remain intimate. To note, there are misters for the summer season, keeping visitors cool however rather damp. The cocktails are perfectly crafted and truly out of his world. The Silk Road captures each flavor and ingredient without question. The Saigon Sour masks the flavor of alcohol with a delicate mix of sweet and sour. The Manila Vice, a beautiful purple, makes it a very instagrammable cocktail. Khla truly is a wonderful addition to the Phoenix scene! I will certainly visit again and be bring friends/family.

Yelp
The staff here is amazing! They are very friendly and they make sure to check on you throughout. When we came at 10:30pm on a Friday night, it was not very busy at all. By 11:00pm this place was filled with people! The music is not super loud and the playlist is along the vibes of Duffy meets Amy Winehouse. The drinks that we tried were delicious. They weren't overly boozy and got the job done! This is a nice spot to meet up with friends. Reservations are not required but recommended. We will be back!

Yelp
My new favorite little bar to go to. Omg we went out on a Saturday night and we had reservations but were late but they were so accommodating. The drinks were amazing the vibes even better and let me tell you the staff was too tier! Ask for their recommendations and you shall not be disappointed! I can't wait to go back! I love that we are getting these new places in downtown
google avatar

Yelp
Service was good and the drinks were even better. I got the Silk Road and it was amazing!! It really tastes like Thai tea. What would make it even better would be some boba in it! The ambiance was also super cool with lanterns everywhere

Yelp
100% would recommend! The drinks were strong and good. We didn't know what to expect but we left incredibly satisfied and can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Khla has hit my expectations as a Pan Asian, particularly Southeast Asian, cocktail bar. This Khmer owned bar is hidden in downtown Phoenix, next to all the action. Once we arrived at the entrance, we did not know what to expect. I felt like I was transported back to Southeast Asia's outdoor nightlife, minus the humidity. There is also an indoor bar however drinking outside was just as cozy with the music playing. The service was quick, friendly and always checked up on us. Because we had had drinks next door at Lom Wong, we only had one last nightcap to end the night. I ordered the Manila Vice which was delightful, light and super refreshing after a hot day; it had hints of sweetness and creaminess which reminded me of flavors of halo halo. The menu looked very intriguing and special with inspirations from neighboring Southeast Asian cuisines! I loved the music and the ambience that was created here. We both agreed we will be back when in Phoenix. This truly was a special night. Accepts cash and card. Open late! Indoor/outdoor dining. Drink up!

Yelp
Last week, Roosevelt Row's best new bar (IMO) had their unofficial opening. In case you're just looking for the final thoughts: This will be my new go-to for drinks because every single creation was a work of art. Vibes: The ambiance here was a mix of laid-back and fun at the same time. I watched the transition from day to night and was able to enjoy my time with my friend (and have a conversation) the entire time, unlike most bars. The lights inside were dim and moody, which I loved. Outside, you can sit under the stars and there are hanging lights in the far back corner, as well as animated picture frames along the entrance wall. Food: Currently, they've started with a couple of food items, which are delivered from the adjoining Thai restaurant Lom Wong. The items include fried chicken and fried head-on shrimp. Drinks: The drink menu was extensive and each one is carefully crafted, with flavors I wouldn't imagine putting together. When you try them though, you'll be shocked and delighted. Service: Every single person from the moment we entered was very friendly and welcoming. From expertly recommending drinks to checking for our feedback after each one, they made the whole experience lovely and memorable. Final thoughts: If you want amazing cocktails and a chill atmosphere, this is the place.

Yelp
This was my favorite bar in downtown. Unfortunately I have been told they are now closed. I haven't been down to confirm myself yet but they aren't taking reservations online anymore... Wish i could get the recipe for the Silk Road. Was a 10/10 drink.

Yelp
If you walk to fast, you might miss this spot. Cool, eclectic vibe with fun music. It's a speak easy and can accommodate a big group. It is perfect spot to hang out and chat with friends. Loved the menu!

Yelp
Now first let me say me and my husband have been coming to Khla for a bit. I'm very sad they got rid of the Manila Vice as it was my favorite. We tried the Mr Purple and my husband got the Caught Slipping. The drinks were good mr purple lacked a the Ube flavor that the Manila vice had. My husband enjoyed his drink. They were made well. But as usual the vibe was amazing and that's why we will continue to come back.

Yelp
Super cool place, sort of hidden in the alley. The place was upbeat and the bar was full, the outdoor seating was nice. The mango peach pie cocktail was 10/10
google avatar

Yelp
Popped into Khla before walking over to First Friday. Khla is hidden in an alley and I consider it to be the best cocktails I've had thus far in Phoenix! The bar tenders were fantastic and had great recommendations. I ordered the Palm Reader then realized they had milk punch! Milk Punch is my current obsession and Khla did a creative take using Thai Tea. It was delicious. The Palm Reader was refreshing and my friend ordered the Days of Thunder which was also fantastically balanced. For food, we ordered the fried chicken. The wings were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I'll definitely be returning!!!!
google avatar

Scott L.

Yelp
Definitely not your average cocktail bar. The service is friendly and you can tell the mixologists have a strong passion for their craft. The ingredients are truly unique making for interesting drinks with an Asian flair. If you're looking to try something new and are a little adventurous this place is for you!
google avatar

Lisa R.

Yelp
First of all, let's start with the host. He was incredibly welcoming and friendly. We had a reservation for 7:00 and we were promptly seated on time. Very inviting ambiance and we sat outside under the beautiful lanterns. It was a bit chilly, but they did have heaters which made us much more comfortable. I ordered the Meteor Garden and my husband ordered the Rush Hour. Their cocktails are so well done and mine in particular was refreshing and transported me to an island vacation. We will 100% be back and hopped over to Lon Wong for dinner and will follow up with an additional review.
google avatar

Yelp
Love it, love their team behind the bar, love the cocktails and selection. Great customer service. Fun vibe. The food is incredible, and you can order from the neighboring Thai restaurant, Lom Wong, which is excellent.

Yelp
This place was amazing, get ambience in the bartenders are very knowledgeable. It's a must to come for a cocktail!
google avatar

Yelp
This is an excellent venue. The most genuine hosts I've ever met in a bar. All the staff are very friendly and very helpful too. The cocktails are sensational and being Asian influence different to the norm. If you haven't been, do yourself a favor, you won't be disappointed. It a small venue with a great atmosphere, you will end up talking to you bar neighbor for sure as everyone discusses thier drinks
google avatar

Natalie F.

Yelp
Good lord, these cocktails are BOMB. We snuck our way down the alley one night with friends and ended up trying half the menu amongst us. Rush Hour was damn tasty. My fiancee is currently obsessed with clarified alcohols so the Silk Road was one of his favorites (and well deserved!). To me, Manila Vice tasted kind of like Fruity Pebbles. Days of Thunder was pretty tasty. I LOVED the Palm Reader, since I'm a big matcha fan. The Devil's Deal was too spicy to finish so we all tasted our way through that one. Ragged Sailor was STRONG and spicy. Absolutely coming back to try everything else we can. These flavors are so unique and very intriguing. I love the excitement of what's to come.
google avatar

Desiree D.

Yelp
Drinks were unique and tasty. Loved the vibe in this place. We were lucky enough to snag a place at the standing bar after dinner at Lom Wong. Drinks were kind of expensive so probably not a place you could go chill all night but very cute for a date or drink after dinner.
google avatar

Yelp
This new bar and bites spot is a must visit! I found them on Instagram by following their neighbors, Lom Wong. The space is an awesome urban vibe with comfortable indoor and outdoor seating We were seated right away on the inside bar area. By the time we had arrived, closer 2 midnight, the Silk Road had sold out. This is KHLA's clarified cocktail. (For those unfamiliar with clarified cocktails, they are prepared in batches and can not be whipped up like a regular cocktail due to the clarifying process. So, please be kind if they are out!) Not to worry! We ordered 2 Manila Vice's and WHOA. It was one of the best cocktails we had in a while. We ended up ordering 2 more haha I also highly recommend asking for a serving of their bar nuts. Those were insanely good and hard to quit! Roasted salted peanuts with crispy Kaffir lime leaves, and Thai chili really hit all the marks, and we haven't stopped talking about them! This would make for a great date night or a chill night out catching up with friends.

Yelp
First stop of our Phoenix visit tonight. There's a good chance we'll be disappointed the rest of the night. Every cocktail that we tried was amazing. Highly recommend the Manila Vice for my fellow filipinos. We'll be back to try the rest!

Yelp
this place was the definition of a hidden gem! tucked away in an alleyway, walking in is like being transported to an entirely new world. when you walk in you completely forget that you're in phoenix arizona! i loved everything about this place, the drinks were amazing, the vibes were absolutely immaculate, and i would definitely return! recommend trying to call ahead for a reservation, although we weren't able to figure out contacting them for one. luckily for us we got to get in and just use standing room, but hoping if we try again we can figure out getting a reservation!

Yelp
I've heard very amazing things about this spot so I decided to come check it out. I made the mistake of getting outside seating with all the plantation back there it makes it pretty humid. I highly recommend inside seating especially for the summertime when making a reservation. When we got to our table water was already sitting there and was beyond lukewarm so for a hot evening it would've been nice to get some fresh cold water not sure how long that was sitting there. Our server took our order and brought the check didn't see him besides that he was pretty absent. Would hope for a little bit better service. We got the chicken wings which were absolutely delicious so I will applaud that and recommend those. When I asked the bartender for a sweet vodka drink, we were met with a vodka pineapple. Which caught me a bit off guard for such a highly talked about bar and restaurant. I would hope for some more creativity. I would say it's worth checking out if you're around looking for somewhere new.

Yelp
I'm obsessed with this new spot! Between all of us we ordered most of the cocktails on the menu - ALL delicious. Some faves were the Mezcal drink and the Japanese vodka and yuzu cocktail. The fried chicken was the perfect bar snack! The hospitality was top notch and the staff cares about what they're doing. This place shocked me in a great way, unlike I've been in a moment!

Yelp
Service by the host/waiter was awful. We had a reservation for 945 waited an additional 15 minutes to be seated. We sat until 1045 and didn't even get served. The place was not packed or overwhelmed. The waiter spent more time saying high to his friends and Bullshiting rather than do his job. Also he was stoned which doesn't help any. I can completely understand the challenges with food and bar service industry and I have all the respect in the world for what they do. This was just a poor performance and lack of service. Don't waste your money and more importantly your time

Yelp
Amazing cocktails! They have a rotating cocktail menu so there's always something new to try! The outdoor patio is so cute with the floating lanterns.

Yelp
This is our fave bar!! Such an amazing representation of the Asian community. The owners are so friendly. They have accommodated us both with or without reservations. I love this place.
