A Mausoleum/shrine dedicated to the Prophet Daniel. You’ll need an entry ticket but is not expensive. You’re not able to take photos of the shrine and people come there to pray, but overall cool to see.

Khoja Daniyor Mausoleum is a sacred Makbara (mausoleum) located on a high hill, offering stunning scenic views of the surrounding area. The atmosphere is peaceful, clean, and serene — perfect for those seeking a spiritual and calming experience. Below the mausoleum lies a vast, beautifully maintained park with a charming canal running through it, adding to the natural beauty of the place. The entrance fee is 50,000 som. One of the highlights of this site is a 600-year-old pistachio tree, believed to be sacred by many visitors. Just above the mausoleum is an ancient graveyard that further adds to the historical and spiritual significance of the site. Overall, it's a must-visit destination in Samarkand for those interested in history, spirituality, and natural beauty.

Hi! This is the best place ín Uzbegistan. The spiritual presence is very high. There is a cold water source.

Not much to see, entry should be free as it is a pilgrimage place.

A sacred place, where the remains of Prophet Daniel were brought back by Timur from a military campaign in Persia, allegedly. The grave is 18m long because the skeleton of the prophet is allegedly continuing to grow. Down the hill you can find a holy spring of fresh (potable) water. You can also see the Siob river nearby.

A short walk up a flight of steps and the extremely long coffin like structure covered in a cloth with lots of Arabic writing. Just a small door for people to look in and provided there isn't a queue a very nice place to visit.

This is not a must see site, on top of the hill is Kona Daniyor Mausoleum and not much else. We see many, many people fill their water jugs from the natural spring at the bottom of the hill.

Nothing special. Just a common old building, not spectacular at all. But the place itself is quite interesting. You decide, if you want to pay 2 € to visit it. What annoys in Samarkand, is that you should pay every time just to enter the area around. I was in 25 countries and saw something like that for the first time.
