Khweza Bed & Breakfast Nairobi

Our stay at Khweza Bed and Breakfast was fantastic! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with a unique African touch. The rooftop restaurant offered delicious meals, and the overall ambiance was delightful. We highly recommend Khweza Bed and Breakfast for a memorable and enjoyable stay in Nairobi!

Stayed there a couple of years ago. Great people, always helpful..clean rooms and great breakfast with fresh juice. I even got my own driver. All in all: great stay

This is a truly delightful place, and the staff are absolutely wonderful. The only thing that kept me from giving five stars is that the restaurant was frequently out of menu items. Supply chain issues are not necessarily their fault, but it would be great if they would figure out a way to communicate these outages to guests. There are a lot of review complaining that the hotel is in a "bad" neighborhood, but this is simply not true. It is in a very poor neighborhood, but this does not mean it is a "bad" neighborhood. I walked the streets around the hotel several times, and never once felt threatened.

Khweza is always a good start for travellers who want to get in touch with Kenya: a cozy place with good food, a quaint rooftop restaurant with yummy food and a lot of extra services. Simple rooms, a bit of backpacking atmosphere. We were there twice and always felt at hone - definitely a come back place in walking distance to the CBD. Make sure, you‘ll be nice with the staff. Kind staff, good breakfast. Tiny but pretty clean rooms. Water temperature sometimes does what it wants, hard to regulate. Can get a bit noisy, but still okay. Convenient location. Good value.

We had an excellent stay at khweza, the breakfast provided was good and the service from staff was excellent. They organised our shuttle to Moshi. Only recommendation would be a fan!

We stayed here for 1 night. Booked room with private bathroom. Price wise, the room is okay. Good only for one or two nights max. Rooms are quite small, no ventilation, and the bed is uncomfortable. You can hear people talking in the corridor. Neighborhood isn't great. Rooftop is good. Good place for drinking and chilling. I liked ordering concept for breakfast. There is a predefined menu for the breakfast from which you can select and order , mention the timing and type of service (in room or rooftop). The breakfast was served sharp on the mentioned time ( extra star for that). Breakfast was good.

We are 30 years old and came to Nairobi for 2 days and stayed at Khweza and thought it was incredible. They are genuinely the nicest and most caring staff of any hotel we have ever stayed at. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a great rooftop and very reasonably priced food. The only downside was the shower which was only luke warm, but given how good the service is and how safe and welcome you feel I would say it is a very minor point. The staff will make you feel like family, we could recommend this enough! We also did a great tour of the Nairobi national park with Khweza tours which we would also recommend!
