Khweza Bed & Breakfast Nairobi

This hotel is super nice. The rooms are basic but very clean and the price is very affordable. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I felt very safe and enjoyed my stay very much. The breakfast is fantastic as is the restaurant in the evening. I loved the roof top terrace.

The rooftop bar is really nice and good food. The porter Julee was outstanding very genuine guy and recommend the local walking your he does. My only criticism is that some of the men behind reception were not welcoming at all.

I spent 5 days at the hotel and every day the personnel took proper care of my comfortable stay at the hotel. The possibility of choosing a different breakfast every day is definitely a plus, and the option of eating on the roof is something great. The room was clean, it was very comfortable, so I definitely recommend it.

Small lodging with decent breakfast With limited facilities at affordable costs.

Khweza is always a good start for travellers who want to get in touch with Kenya: a cozy place with good food, a quaint rooftop restaurant with yummy food and a lot of extra services. Simple rooms, a bit of backpacking atmosphere. We were there twice and always felt at hone - definitely a come back place in walking distance to the CBD. Make sure, you‘ll be nice with the staff. This is a truly delightful place, and the staff are absolutely wonderful. The only thing that kept me from giving five stars is that the restaurant was frequently out of menu items. Supply chain issues are not necessarily their fault, but it would be great if they would figure out a way to communicate these outages to guests. There are a lot of review complaining that the hotel is in a "bad" neighborhood, but this is simply not true. It is in a very poor neighborhood, but this does not mean it is a "bad" neighborhood. I walked the streets around the hotel several times, and never once felt threatened.
