KI Caravan Park ~ Kingscote Tourist Park and Family Units

We stayed 3 nights and loved it! We stayed in a cabin which was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The park itself was great, staff were super friendly and helpful. The huge camp kitchen was fantastic, had a nice tropical feel to it. Bathrooms clean, kids enjoyed the playground despite it being basic. Koalas in the trees. A great place to base yourself for day trips. The new owners have done a great job improving the park!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had an unpowered site. There was the perfect amount of sun on our pitch but also trees to provide shade. The new owners are friendly and helpful and you can see they are working hard to make improvements to the caravan park. The amenities were clean and the kitchen/BBQ/lounge area was spacious and had what you might need - fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster, BBQ etc.

I have been working at KI for 3 months or so and stayed at this caravan park. The park is close to the beach and is nice and quiet. Overall enjoyed my stay and will be back there at some stage this year. We look forward to seeing what improvements there have done.

We had an enjoyable camping stay for 6 nights at Christmas time. The location was great for exploring the Island and close to beaches and Kingscote for shopping. The amenities were clean and newly spruced up with new fittings and the camp kitchen was well appointed and a relaxing place to be at the end of the day. Recently had the pleasure of staying at this park for 5 nights on a powered site. Short walk to the beach, our dog loved these twice daily trips. Wonderful central location for all the areas we wanted to explore on the island. Only 3k from the town which had a great supermarket, cafes and pub. We also attended the local park run. You can see the time and effort the new owners are putting into the park and I’m sure this will become more and more a much sort after location. Cheryl & Glen

We highly recommend this park. Lovely welcoming new mangers and they are doing a fantastic job. We were in a van with great grassy site lots of trees full of birds with different calls which was lovely to wake up to. Town water is a bonus. Fantastic well equipped sheltered camp kitchen. Close and easy access to the beach for your morning walk. Thank you for a terrific stay.Booked one night stayed 4 , location being ideal to tour around. The 2 Urbans from Queensland.

Stayed in powered site for 5 days. 20/2/2025 to 25/02/2025. Checkin was easy. Ros was extremely helpful. Steve is hard working and the park is a great place to stay. Nice quiet area, next to beach. Ammenities are superior, plenty of space. Helpful hosts. Thank you Bryan

Had a 10 night stay on a powered site and found the park to be reasonably priced and in a nice quiet location with clean upgraded facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will certainly stay here again should I visit KI again.
