Kibo Palace Hotel Arusha

This hotel is AMAZING! So Beautiful! The grounds were Immaculate! The Service was Awesome! Never carried my bag once. The food at the hotel restaurant; Magnificent! Tons of options on the menu and breakfast buffet! If you dont believe me, Go see for yourself! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to the wonderful city of Arusha!

We stayed here for one nights in September at the start of our safari trip. The hotel is nice and clean all round and the bed was comfy. ||The staff are all extremely friendly and happy to help. We arrived late in the evening and the staff still made sure we could order some food which was much appreciated after a long day of travelling.||We didn’t explore the hotel or the surrounding area any further but it was great for what we needed it for which was a good nights sleep after a long day travelling and the perfect starting location for our safari.

Staff are very friendly.We loved that they have sauna and offer a variety of massage services. Great place to relax and get ready for a long flight.

Extremely Unprofessional Hotel. I booked a future stay with this Hotel and due to the Ongoing War that has restricted Air Travel into the Region they are refusing to honor my request to Cancel my lodging. I had other lodging which the establishment cancelled without an issue. Please don't book a stay with this unprofessional Hotel.

Centrally located yet tucked away in a quiet area, the hotel is celebrated for its lush, beautifully manicured gardens and an expansive outdoor swimming pool that provides a serene oasis from the city's bustle. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed with traditional wooden furnishings, offering a warm, "English-rustic" charm alongside essential amenities like reliable Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Guests consistently rave about the exceptional hospitality, noting that the staff is attentive and professional, often going the extra mile to ensure a personalized experience.

I am deeply disappointed with Kibo Palace Arusha regarding the inconsistent treatment I received during my recent stay. Upon my initial arrival at this hotel, I was informed the pool was open 24 hours. However, when I returned a week later, I was told by staff—including the Manager, Bernad Mukami—that the pool closed at 6:00 PM. Despite being denied access, I chatted with a group of white American guests who were told by reception that the pool is 'always open' unless cordoned off. As an Asian woman of color, this blatant disparity in how guests are treated based on their appearance is unacceptable and suggests a discriminatory bias that I hope the management takes seriously.

Very nice hotel, everyone is welcome and friendly, David from maintenance was impressive! He quickly understood the problem with my suitcase and fixed it like a pro. Great problem-solving skills and excellent English communication. A true asset to the team!

Our tour operator booked us into Kibo Palace Hotel in Arusha as our pre- and post- safari hotel. We stayed at Kibo Palace the last time we traveled with Leadwood Holidays, so we were thrilled to see it on this itinerary. The hotel is large enough to be comfortable, but still small enough to be cozy and safe. The restaurant is more than adequate, with meal plans available, with full service and seating indoors or outdoors by the pool. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, always greeting us with a smile. If you need it, there is an ATM next door, as well as several restaurants within a few blocks walking distance. We’ve stayed in several areas and floors of the hotel, each room has similar layouts, and the same amenities, including full sized beds with plenty of pillows, enough outlets to charge everything, TV and remote, as well as a shower and a tub. The hotel is the perfect place to rest before and after safari, or even spend a day taking in a few local sites. Thank you, and we can’t wait to see you again!!
