Kibo Palace Hotel Arusha

The hotel is very well kept. The staff is very friendly and will do everything they can to accommodate you. Delicious breakfast especially the lady that was making eggs. We loved our stay.

Highly recommend. Stayed for two nights, before and after our trip to Serengeti. The rooms were clean, staff was friendly, pool was well maintained and food was great. The restaurant served really good curry and naan, all made from scratch (which I did not expect in Arusha!). The breakfast buffet was also very nice.

We stayed at Kibo Palace, two nights before our African safari, and one night after returning from Safari. The staff here is absolutely wonderful. They are friendly and welcoming. We did not know how worn out we would be after our “African massage“ with all the bumpy roads and dust. It was wonderful to come back to Kibo Palace and relax. The pool and outdoor area is beautiful. We felt very safe and secure here. I would recommend this hotel to anybody coming to Arusha.

We stayed at the Kibo Palace hotel before and after our Safari.|The rooms are very comfortable. |2 bottles of water and instant coffee & tea provided daily. The cleaning staff looked after our room very well.||Restaurant food and coffee always good. |We experienced a buffet for breakfast with a lot of variety. Had great conversations with the chef serving the breakfast buffet.|Buffet supper on one occasion and ordered from the menu for lunch and supper as well. You will not go away hungry.||The staff were always pleasant and helpful throughout the hotel.||The pool is a nice feature which we used several times. Although there is only one umbrella for shade with a couple loungers, extra loungers are available for your use. Just ask.||The outside seating area around the pool was great to relax and visit.||The hotel staff can assist in arranging transport for you. ||We would return and recommend.

A Truly Delightful Stay at Kibo Palace Hotel, Arusha My stay at Kibo Palace Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel is set in a cool and serene environment, perfect for both relaxation and business travel. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the immaculate cleanliness throughout the property — everything is well-maintained and spotless. The staff truly elevate the experience. They are not only friendly and helpful but also genuinely charming, always going out of their way to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. The meals at the hotel are absolutely delicious — each dish is thoughtfully prepared with fresh ingredients and rich flavors that left me looking forward to every bite. And considering the quality of service, comfort, and overall experience, the hotel rates are remarkably affordable. Kibo Palace Hotel is a gem in Arusha and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality yet reasonably priced place to stay. I will definitely return!

I can't give zero stars because it's not possible. We arrived from a safari and there was no hot water. We were told hot water would be available in 30 minutes, so hours went by. Upon arrival, reception told us dinner was included, and when we got to the hotel restaurant, they told us it wasn't. The Wi-Fi didn't work. The bathroom was covered in hair. The manager or boss didn't offer any solutions. They market it as 4 stars, but the service was actually terrible.

Kibo Palace is an excellent place to stay. We had just spent three weeks in Kenya and Tanzania and it was the last place we stayed before heading home. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The lift didn’t go to our floor so it was hard getting our bags back down the stairs when we were leaving, but the staff took them upstairs for us on our arrival. |The room itself was quite big with comfortable beds. Although the single bed I slept in kept bumping into the power point and disconnecting my phone charger - not what you want when you rely on your phone for an alarm in the morning before an international flight. |The food was delicious! A great selection at the buffet with lots of options and clearly labeled. We also enjoyed sitting by the pool in the beautiful gardens, and seeing local wildlife, such as monkeys and birds. Overall a really great place to stay to end our holiday.

Went with a bunch of friends to swim, have bitings & drinks after our mountain expedition. It is one of the few places in Arusha that allows for non staying guests to swim & use the gym facilities - at a fee of course. |The hotel is one of the older gems in Arusha that has maintained its standards over the years and is always a place I like to return to. The pool and well manicured garden on a hot day is the perfect way to spend an afternoon. The pool was clean & the bitings we had were tasty and well portioned.
