Kicheche Valley Naboisho

My husband and I have been on safari several times and this was hands down the best experience. Not only did we see a cheetah chase and two lion prides fighting thanks to our incredible guide, Bernard, it was also the best hospitality we have ever experienced out of all 48 countries we have visited. It truly does not get any better. The manager Minnie is so sweet and accommodating. We were both blown away by the level of service provided by her team. Every detail was well thought out and met with a warm attitude. My husband and I were also extremely impressed by our guide, Bernard’s ability to predict animal behavior to get us in position for the best viewings we have ever experienced. He truly has a sixth sense. The tents were beautiful and very comfortable. Soft beds. The lack of AC were not any issue at all as the weather was very mild and nice and cool at night. A massive thank you to everyone at Kicheche! Also the massages and food were wonderful!!

Absolutely amazing camp for our safari in Kenya. From the moment we arrived the service was outstanding and they truly went above and beyond to make our honeymoon special. Our guide Esther was fantastic and so knowledgeable, we loved having her. The entire staff was incredible - every single person we encountered was happy, positive, and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We were so sad to leave, we truly felt like we were saying goodbye to family at the end of our trip. We can't recommend Kicheche Valley Naboisho enough, highly recommend!

There are no superlatives sufficient to describe our stay at Kicheche Valley Camp. From the minute we were picked up at the airstrip to the moment left, we were treated so graciously by every member of the camp staff. Minnie is the anchor of Valley Camp. She knows exactly what everyone needs and her personality sets the tone for life in the camp. She and her staff demonstrated extraordinary hospitality and personalized attention to all the guests. Nelson’s daily riddles are not to be missed!||||The food was gourmet and delicious. Everyone carefully attended to my dietary restrictions. The cooked-to-order bush breakfast our last morning drive was unexpected and wonderful! ||||John, our guide, was so gifted at finding wildlife; his knowledge of all life in the conservancy was exceptional and we so enjoyed his sharing his love of his country, the environment and the animals. ||||Our tent was spacious and very comfortable and we were graciously accommodated when we requested additional bedding; the complementary laundry service was very convenient. ||||If you are looking for a personalize and quality safari experience, I highly recommend Kicheche Valley Camp.

Possibly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The team at Kicheche Valley camp were outstanding and Minnie’s management is first class. Nothing is left to chance, every tiny detail is thought of and prepared before we’d even know we’d need it. The staff were amazing, from the lodge team to the knowledgeable guides, we were made to feel like old friends within minutes of arriving and despite only staying for 3 short nights, the warm hospitality made it feel like we’d been there for weeks! Our tent was very well appointed, hard wood floors, hot showers, plenty of hanging/storage space and huge comfortable bed (including night time hot water bottles)! Great food and drinks selection, set menus daily but everything was delicious with no complaints from us but they were incredibly accommodating for guests who had dietary requirements or preferences and made it work for all. Special mention for Jamlex our guide who was great fun and very accommodating. Amazing knowledge and made sure he helped us get the best sightings for our trip! This is not a cheap stay but 100% excellent value for money and well worth the expense. We’d barely been gone 12 hours before we started planning the next time we could come back and stay!

As a family of four on our first safari I wasn’t really sure what to expect. However, from the moment we arrived at the camp and were greeted by Minnie and her team, I had a feeling things would be great. We stayed in the Saba suite. It was beautifully furnished with very comfortable beds and hot showers. We had a large balcony at the front of the tent and were able to view a variety of animals while relaxing between safari drives. All the staff were amazing, so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Mika was our guide. He has so much knowledge, clearly has a love of the area and animals, answered our many questions and provided us with amazing opportunities to view so many different animals. It was my birthday while staying at the camp and the team made sure it was a birthday to remember. I had an incredible experience at Kicheche! We stayed at the camp for three days but wished we could have stayed longer. The staff was not only highly professional but also provided exceptional service. Our safari guide, John, was outstanding—his knowledge and ability to locate every animal and key event in the conservancy left us amazed. Naboisho Conservancy offers a luxurious, intimate experience where you never feel crowded. Miny, the manager, made us feel right at home, checking in every day to ensure we were all set for our safari adventures.

Hands down the best place to experience a safari in Kenya. We are a family of five, three teenagers, and were all captivated by the beauty, service and expertise of the whole experience. From arrival to departure. ||The location is perfect. We had the Saba suite on the edge of camp which opened to the conservancy enabling us to live with giraffe, buffalo, mongoose as well as have lions in the night (!). ||The food was world class. I’m gluten and dairy free and ate like a King. ||Mika our guide couldn’t have been better. His knowledge enabled us to see and learn so much in our early drives, evening drives and even a night spotlight drive. Breakfast in the bush and sundowner cocktails all added to the luxury. ||Minnie, Nelson and all the staff were so lovely, making us feel at home. A short chat with Greg the top man made us feel very welcome also. Even a small medical issue (a fall!) was met with care and attention. ||Thank you so much - we hope to repeat||The Walker family.

It’s hard for me to put into words just how breathtaking our experience was at Kicheche. This was my first Safari and my partners second and we were both completely blown away by the camp, staff and conservancy. On arrival at the camp we were greeted with cold towels and drinks and welcomed by Minnie, Sheila and Bernard and then taken to our tent. I could not believe how beautiful the room was. The housekeeping is exceptional, far beyond any level of detail I’ve ever seen before. We saw elephants, cheetah, leopard, lions, crocodiles, hippos, elan, giraffe and much much more. Our guide was Esther who was absolutely fantastic. She was so knowledgable and so easy to get along with, we feel we have made a friend for life. Throughout the whole trip we were met with so many lovely surprises and personal touches. The kindness of the staff actually bought me to tears on more than one occasion!
