Amazing service from the bartender. Too many times we go places and sit for 10 minutes before we get acknowledged and this gentleman was on at! We will definitely be back. If you have four people get the nachos!

I enjoyed my food and the people were all very nice. It's also in a beautiful area.

I recently visited Kickapoo Tavern, and I had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, perfect for a casual meal with friends. Our waitress, Anna, provided outstanding service—she was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. We started with the nachos, which were loaded with toppings and came out warm and fresh. The burgers were equally impressive—juicy, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. It’s clear that the kitchen takes pride in serving quality dishes. Overall, Kickapoo Tavern delivered great food with excellent service, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a casual, yet memorable dining experience.

Google
Cool location with outdoor seating on the Snake River. Menu may be different from some of the pictures posted here. I was excited for some tacos but the updated menu didn't have them. The harvest Cobb salad was delicious as was the southwest bowl.

Google
I was hesitant at first just seeing their pricing. So many restaurants you'll pay so much for so little. This isn't one of those places. This was the most delicious burger and fries I've ever had. The atmosphere was super great, and the servers were awesome. 5 stars easy

Stopped here for a green beer and Irish drink before heading home! Fast, friendly service and the patio was perfect! Thanks for a great time!

Google
We went To dinner here around 5:30-6pm on a Friday night. The bartender had club music blasting as you walk in and completely took away from the cool laid back mountain lodge vibe it had. We asked the server to turn the music down as we couldn’t hear anything, the bartender turned it down slightly. Then, we ordered the kids Mac and cheese and the Mac and cheese was extremely spicy. We asked about this as our child did not like it and they said they use their “queso” Cheese on their kids menu Mac and cheese. Whoever is managing this restaurant is not paying attention to the details and is definitely not keeping it focused on the locals and families but focusing more on the 20 something tourists coming through which was super disappointing as we love keystone and is a very family friendly spot.

At the base of the River Run gondola, this building has an incredible ski chalet atmosphere attached to it. They have welcoming staff, a beautifully designed menu, and plenty of options for all sorts of cravings after a day of tremendous physical activity. Their reservation system was extremely convenient as the place was filled to the brim with ski-enthusiasts and adventurous mountain-lovers alike. Other than the restaurant exceeding it’s capacity (which made sense given it was a weekend), there are no poor things to say about this quaint Keystone tavern. The Southwest salad was exquisitely plated and the freshness of the delectable, crisp ingredients was absolutely divine! So glad we chose to stop by during our ski trip - I highly recommend!

Yelp
The place was packed and my tastebuds know why. 20 min wait is what we were told and 18 min wait. Sarah was our waitress and was attentive and polite. She was handling a lot. Good job Burger was my choice and was cooked to my request of med rare. Coleslaw was good This building is in a ski village and they do a very good job with making the building look like a cabin house. The bar and the TV set ups are three nicely designed as well.

Yelp
Carolyn and Bethany were wonderful ... been coming here 7 years and always excellent service and a great atmosphere

Yelp
Love Kickapoo! Went up earlier this week and had the best experience all around. Our server Zach was amazing, super attentive and genuinely a good guy. Zach recommended several items from the menu, so glad he did, we tried a couple of the burgers the River Run and Schoolmarm. Cooked perfectly and tots hit the spot. Definitely will be going back next time I'm up in Summit, looking forward to another great experience and the atmosphere was super chill and welcoming.

Jenna E.

Yelp
The staff here are very accommodating and polite. The impossible burger I ate was the most delicious plant-based meal I have ever eaten. My brother enjoyed his BBQ sandwich, but complained about price, as most mountain resort centers overprice their menu and products (the reason for -1 stars). Overall, my family, dog, and I had a very relaxing experience at this restaurant nestled in the mountains of Keystone!

Kim F.

Yelp
Omg !!! Kickapoo was recommended to us and it DID not disappoint!! We popped over and wandered through the village... Amazing!! Service, even though the place is packed, was stellar, Mark took good care of us! Oh gosh... by far... the burger is the best tasting burger we have had in a long time. I enjoyed the soup if the day (homemade tomato bisque), it was delicious! My sister enjoyed the buffalo chicken tots... Kickapoo is nestled amongst the pine trees and right at the end of the village by the base.. it's December and it's so cozy to see it decorated for Christmas..

Kuishingal F.

Yelp
We are staying in the village and didn't want to venture far for dinner. They have a nice waitlist system that will text you when the table was ready. We started with some drinks at the bar- had big screen TVs so hubby can watch the games. Anna was our kind and courteous server. Food- my son had kid's cheeseburger- appropriately sized and he gobbled it up with a thumbs up. I had the NY strip which was actually cooked to a perfect medium rare and came pre-sliced. Swapped out fries for the apple slaw which was good. Also had a great slightly dirty vodka martini with perfect ice shards layered on top which I didn't expect! It's a fun family-friendly atmosphere with obviously hard working servers and staff. Burgers were flying out of the kitchen so must be good - if I'm in town would definitely come back.

Kelly L.

Yelp
Good spot in River Run village to grab lunch or dinner. We are staying the week and visited several times. Burgers are pretty good. The pretzel bites are amazing.

Jerry S.

Yelp
The worst restaurant experience! While we were having drinks and appetizers the manager came by and said we HAD TO LEAVE before the Super Bowl started. He said there was a 90-minute dining "rule." We were there 40 minutes and still wanted to order entrees. No luck, he was determined to make us leave before the game started. Why? There were six empty tables around us and no one was waiting to be seated. We paid our bill ($89 for drinks & apps) NEVER TO RETURN.

Kristina K.

Yelp
Very crowded and loud but we were seated quickly thanks to a reservation. Excellent service. Good bar food.

Jim H.

Yelp
This is a very nice location given that it's in the snake river complex and right at the bridge that takes you to the ski lifts. The set up is like a typical sports bar with bar, seating, as well as tables throughout the establishment. I sat at the bar and had a cheeseburger and truffle french fries. Both the burger and fries were fantastic. We were staying at Riverrun mid week, so things slow down a little bit, which makes getting a table a lot easier. This is a good location to grab a bite or drinks with friends at this time of year. They are open till nine midweek.

Sun M.

Yelp
So I'm giving a five star review on this place not because of the food or because of the location but because of the service. We had a waitress by the name of Bethany. She was fantastic, engaging full of energy. We came in probably her last table for the night just drove up from Denver and we're starving and she didn't once say anything horrible or eye roll. Why are they sitting? She was excited to have us there. Food came out quickly great service. I wasn't really hungry so I had a house side salad. My partner got the buffalo chicken macaroni and cheese dish for $25. It's just was not healthy and it was filled with cheese. Was it delicious yes, would he get it again of course he would. It has buffalo chicken with cheese and bacon who else would say no to that. bartender made a delicious Tequila. Sour drop type drink. I don't remember the name of it, but it was very good. Do you know when you meet somebody in your life and u think oh my G have we met before. the story behind Bethany is just shocking of how much we had in common with her and her family. I won't go into details but I could've spent hours talking to her. when you go in ask for Bethany she's fantastic.

Alex L.

Yelp
Horrible place , we are a Mexican-American family, and the staff was very rude with me and my family, from the beginning the manager told us "what are you doing here ? " And between the staff we're arguing "What are they doing here?" We could hear them. All of that after the hostess already assigned a table for us, then they complained because of my nephew's toy making a little noise they said to turn it off, well after that at we decided to leave and a server was laughing at us saying the we were fools and to get out of there! . I don't know if the staff in the restaurant is racist but definitely we felt treated that way with, I have to put 1 star because I cant do less on yelp

Savannah K.

Yelp
Kickapoo was the perfect spot to grab some lunch during a day of skiing. I went on a Monday and it wasn't busy which was nice. The service was rather quick and the food was tasty! They have plenty of drink options (cocktails, beer, and wine) and a large menu with great food options to fuel your afternoon on the slopes. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Tehya R.

Yelp
Johnathan was amazing, constantly on top of his section making sure everything was good!!! Nachos with pork were fantastic, I have been thinking about these for 2 YEARS!!!! The vibe is immaculate

Rika M.

Yelp
Not a bad place to grab a bite to eat after a strenuous runs at the resort. After skiing for the first time in almost 20 years (!), I was ready for a big plate of something a bit heavy but not too heavy. When I saw this item on the menu (it's the only item that has seafood in it to my surprise because as far as I can remember correctly, this place had some trout dish. But wait, that was almost 20 years ago. Oh well!) I had to get it as it's described as a creamy pasta dish. To be frank, this dish is a bit bland. I feel that some spices are missing from it. I was glad though that it wasn't salty (as I don't like anything that's loaded with salt.) What was good about it was that it was a GOOD portion. And it's loaded with veggies (but the onions tasted a bit undercooked.) Also, a dish like this should come with a piece of garlic bread as a nice accompaniment (because after all, it's a $32 dish.) I enjoyed my Malbec (didn't take a picture of it.) The wine selection was decent enough. I also saw a good selection of tap/draft beers. We sat at the bar and our bartender was very nice and attentive to our needs and requests. The restaurant was busy at the peak time of 5:00/5:30pm but service wasn't slow. Overall it was a decent dining experience.

Josie J.

Yelp
Our waiter Tom was the bomb (haha). He was quick with our food and drinks and the food was very tasty! Good atmosphere and had a diverse playlist. (no big east fox sports though )

Brian P.

Yelp
Good pub food and beer selection. We sat outside on the deck on a cold but sunny day so ambience was fresh air.Service was friendly.

Alisa J.

Yelp
We had some pretzel bites as a yummy afternoon snack. They were super great. They were warm and flavorful and the Queso was also great. A bit pricey for what it is but expected in a ski town. The service was also good and the bathroom was pretty clean.

Jenna L.

Yelp
Waited 35 min for the waitress to forget about us, asked to order and she took a huge table that came in after us first. So frustrating and others were just standing around. Do not go there

Teri R.

Yelp
A group of us rode our bikes from Dillon and ate lunch here. While the food was terrific, it is disappointing that I was charged $11.00 more than I signed for. My receipt shows the included gratuity and a total of $23.90. The charge came through as $34.90 so someone clearly added an additional $11.00 when ringing up the charge. That's nearly a 50% tip! While the manager Bradley Larsen offered a refund, there was no explanation and no apology. CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD BILL AGAINST YOUR RECEIPT!!!!

Goodness I.

Yelp
Food tasted good, and our waiter was sweet and did his best, however we had to send a few things back and correct some things-thankfully we were met with grace! The restaurant wasn't too full which was nice and it was our first colorado meal.

Alan A.

Yelp
One of the better options for apres ski in keystone. They get slammed so prepare to wait but the service will do thier best to attend. Fresh ingredients are used a wonderful array of local beers and well made drinks by the bar tenders.

Lisa T.

Yelp
Service was excellent, fun atmosphere, food.. not good Queso, salsa and guac were good but the stale store brand chip crumbs that came with them were ridiculous Burgers ordered medium were very rare Meatball sub was bland- seemed like tomatoes mixed with ketchup with a little pepper.. sweet potato fries were the best thing in our overpriced 100$ meal for 4 people

Tammy D.

Yelp
Perfect place to stop by for a meal after skiing or snowboarding. The wait wasn't too long it was around 15-20 minutes for a party of 4 people. It is self-serve for water but the service was great! For appetizers, we ordered the Buffalo Chicken Ranch Tots and the Parmesan Truffle Fries. Both of them were very delicious! The tots had a perfect amount of sauce and a good flavor. The fries had a good flavor and came with a sauce on the side as well. We ordered their signature burgers Schoolmarm and River Run that came with a choice of sides. The burgers were juicy and delicious. We had a medium and a medium rare and they didn't disappoint. For sides we had plain fries and tots which weren't good in comparison to the appetizers.

James H.

Yelp
Be wary of this place. My server was terrible. I wish I could comment on the food, but I can't because he never put my order in. I had two glasses of wine while waiting but after 45 minutes and tables that came in after me getting their food I realized that my Greek salad was never coming. I flagged the guy down and said I was fine with only the wine. He clearly didn't remember that I'd ordered anything else. I stupidly gave him my credit card instead of waiting for the bill because I was hungry! When he bought it back I realized that he'd charged me $107! He credited me, but didn't offer any discount. I paid cash this time! Perhaps their food is good. I'll never know. CC

Niki B.

Yelp
Service was good for take out. Nice place. I have a dairy allergy, I was reassured there would be zero dairy including butter. My mouth broke out after immediately! I'm lucky my allergy isn't life threatening. Burger was over priced for $36. I wouldn't recommend.

Allie S.

Yelp
There aren't many places open in River Run village early in summer but I'm glad I ran into this place. Sit-down restaurant with burgers and several other entrees in the menu. I had a grilled chicken sandwich which was great and I opted for tater tots as my included side. Would eat here again next time I'm in Keystone.

Kristin ..

Yelp
Just stopped in for a drink. They have an amazing patio and service was great. I ordered the Mountain Joy Juice. Pretty sweet but decent.

James H.

Yelp
Nice restaurant and bar outside in the Keystone resort area/shopping center. Came here just to grab a quick bite and watch some football. They let us choose our seats outside and had a waiter come greet us. Started with an order of fries then decided to try the hot apple pie cocktail and a cobb salad. The hot apple pie cocktail was very very good and the cobb salad was the perfect portion to fill me up. Overall, service was great. It wasn't busy season so no big crowds and easy to track down our server.

Julie P.

Yelp
I would skip on the plain fries or tots sides and upgrade to the buffalo tots or parmesan truffle fries. The truffle fries especially was excellent albeit a lil $$ but you are at a ski resort so what can you expect. Our party all got burgers and they were well cooked and delicious! Service was also fast and our waitress was quick and friendly. We'd come again!

Nick H.

Yelp
This place is fantastic. My coworker and I ate here during a recent trip to Keystone. He ordered the Hot Pastrami while I got the Greek Gyro. The gyro was good. Authentic flavor and good sauce. It wasn't the best gyro I've ever had but it's in the top tier. However, my coworker's Hot Pastrami sandwich was incredible. It was one of the best I've ever tried. Each of the sandwiches came with a side. My coworker got the cole slaw and he must have loved it because he ate the whole thing. I got the tater tots with ketchup because I felt like pleasing my inner 5 year old that day. They were fine, nothing special but definitely appeased the toddler in me. This was our final meal in Keystone and I could not have thought of a better way to end it. I highly recommend either this restaurant or the Zuma Roadhouse when you are in Keystone. Both had phenomenal food. Kickapoo was cleaner and probably the better overall experience, but it was very crowded and had a wait to be seated. I would gladly go through all that though to be able to eat the Hot Pastrami sandwich again.

Scott B.

Yelp
Great service from start to finish. Daniel, his brother zach, and mark were all great. Fast food, faster drinks! Happy Thanksgiving!

Annie C.

Yelp
A great place for apres ski. We came here for a break during skiing and also afterwards for dinner and drinks. A warm, lively and BUSY sports restaurant right at the front of the Village. Very packed at all times but bar seating is first come first serve so look for that! We ended up sitting down at a table for dinner and the wait wasn't that bad. They said 45 minutes but it ended up being more like 25 minutes. Food was good, filling and delicious, I got the southwestern power bowl which I recommend. Prices are higher which is to be expected from a place at the ski lodge, my bowl cost me $20 but at least it tasted good! Would definitely come back.

Dave T.

Yelp
As I was about to finish my beer I noticed there's big chunks and shards of broken glass in the bottom of my glass. I just hope I didn't ingest any. No free beer can make up for this. Absolutely very dangerous. The service was good other than that. And I don't even know who to blame for this. Just praying for the best

Kitty M.

Yelp
Rarely do I ever do 1 star reviews on here unless it's totally warranted. I ate here for lunch yesterday and this morning from 4 am on I'm throwing up and have tons of diarrhea. I'm also 8 months pregnant, so getting food poisoning at this late stage is pretty dangerous. Avoid their chicken tacos and their pathetic excuse for a "Greek salad". Beyond being overpriced and mediocre at best, I'm now dealing with this. Hours and hours later. I might have to go to the hospital before our flight to get extra fluids. This is unacceptable. I'll be definitely contacting their local health inspectors office and seeing what's really going on back there. It doesn't seem like the most clean, and if their lettuce or their tomatoes or feta have listeria, that's something that needs to be investigated. Beware!

Lyubov L.

Yelp
The place is nice with beautiful view and good service. Burger was really good, Turkey sandwich (I didn't expect it to be fried in oil) and fries were very greasy. I guess it is not for people with sensitive stomach.

Margaret W.

Yelp
Food and service were very good. We stayed at the Jack Pine Lodge right next to it which made it very convenient.

ToUyen N.

Yelp
Mushroom burger with truffle butter is delish!!! Best burger I've had in a long time. Ice cold pints of draft beer and tater tots and great view sitting on the outside patio. So nice to also hear the river alongside. Friendly service. Will absolutely be back here next time we're in town!

Ryan S.

Yelp
Perfect spot on the mountain and worth every penny To enjoy a beer after a day of skiing or snowboarding. Heck, I'd even stop there mid day too. Amazing.

Raegen R.

Yelp
service was friendly and the food was decent but not great. ingredients could have had better quality, likely a result of the location. the scenery is stunning and the log cabin interior is a wonderful atmosphere. 4/5 greek bowl 3/5 buffalo tots (chicken quality was horrible) 5/5 huckleberry lemonade

Sam K.

Yelp
Mids. Wasn't Great but wasn't bad and kinda expensive. Burger was decent but not very seasoned. Toppings saved it. Mids

David B.

Yelp
Great food atmosphere and service. It's always busy after a day of skiing but the staff is hustling and friendly. It's a must stop.

Chris T.

Yelp
The location of Kickapoo Tavern is nice, because you can walk right to it from the slopes. If there's an issue, it's just that it's the first restaurant you see, so plan on getting there for an earlier lunch unless you want to wait in a line. The service was solid, no complaints there. Our waitress made sure we had the drinks we wanted and enjoyed our food. The food was good, but wasn't anything that blew me away. I would eat here again certainly, but I think a major reason for that is due to the close proximity to the slopes where you can get something to eat and get back on the mountains.

Sarah A.

Yelp
This restaurant was very underwhelming honestly. The best thing we got were the buffalo chicken ranch nachos but even the chicken was kind of weird in it. My friend and I split the burger and we both agreed it was very mid. The bun was dry and just kind of crusty overall. My drink was good, but everything was so expensive and that it really factored negatively into my overall experience. The location and interior ambiance is nice; it's a beautiful log cabin-esque structure that gives you the log cabin mountain vibes. I expected more out of this place but it wasn't the worst thing ever.

Mary H.

Yelp
Perfect environment, awesome service, price was right and food was amazing. If you are in Keystone it's a must!!

Elizabeth G.

Yelp
Food was decent, definitely overpriced but kind of expected for the area. The service wasn't great to be honest. Between asking for the check and actually being able to leave.. I think we sat there in the cold for a solid 45 minutes. Hoping to try another spot next time we're in town. On the bright side, great tator tots

Macauley N.

Yelp
After skiing all day and working up a big appetite, this place hit the freaking spot. Conveniently located right in town and so good! The spiced apple pie drink was too good. Add a shot of Jamison to it-- you'll be glad you did. The food was all delicious. The French dip is big enough to split. Tater tots were super crunchy. The fries came out cold with one burger and our waiter brought us a fresh plate of them graciously. This place is busy--lots of people in and out. Service is fast and friendly so you can get back on the mountain quick.

Alysa D.

Yelp
Food was great! Highly recommend the wings and pretzel bites. Staff was very friendly and our server Ashton was one the best! Was a perfect place to watch the game.

John M.

Yelp
Bartender and rest of staff were great. Highly recommend stopping in for a beer. Visited in July 2023.
