Kidd Brewer Stadium

One of a kind place to experience a football game. The Rock is worth a visit - if you are an App State fan or not. Boone transforms during game day to one big tailgate. Go Neers.

Great stadium and a great team to watch. Football games are fun there and often have sold out crowds. They also have some good concerts there.

Updated review: another great experience at Kidd Brewer. Had chance to see club level. Great seats overlooking the lower seats. No bad seat in the house. Plenty of concessions and bathrooms along with comfortable couches in the common area to sit and chill or to watch the game on the TVs. The renovations to this stadium over the years have really created a venue worth writing a review over. The facilities and amenities are great for fans, students, and the athletes. The mountain views and trees and the conscious decisions to not block these views shows. They have streamlined the buying process for drinks and snacks and most if not all only take a credit card for payments which makes it faster. Great venue.

Great experience at The Rock! Glad that App State could get the W, it was my kids first game at his new school and we both had a great time cheering for the Mountaineers! Even got a visit from Yosef.

Attended our daughter's hooding ceremony here in the north end zone upper room, ahead of her graduation the following day. The room was very nice for the event. The view of the field and the entire stadium from this location was amazing, only wish I were invited to attend a game and watch from here.

Great stadium with all the refreshment services and restrooms needed. Views are not blocked and plenty of signage for seating location.

Great venue

I enjoyed my time here for the Miami App State game, especially since my Canes whooped some butt that day. That aside, there wasn't really a bad seat in the place. As I walked around the stadium even the seats that were really high gave a good view of the action. It is a little on the smaller side, if you are used to going to larger stadiums. But sitting in Boone on a sunny afternoon can never be a bad thing! One of the bad things about the place was the really crowded concessions, of course maybe that was the fact that the record was set for attendance that day. All in all i will go back to see a game again.

Go App! Having come from a college without a football program, I'm still slightly in awe of the whole college football phenomenon. Tailgating around the stadium is ample and fun! Once inside Kidd Brewer, the seats are all decent -- not a bad view in the place. Concessions are good -- be sure to grab some cookies from Appalachian Cookie Company!! Plenty of bathrooms and they're always pretty clean, not to mention WARM during those frigid winter games. Fans are always festive yet polite. All in all, a great college football experience for this newbie!

Nothing but good things to say about Kidd Brewer Stadium and the whole game day experience! This was my first game at Kidd Brewer for the renewed rivalry of Wake Forest vs App St. A beautiful setting that's tucked into the mountains, a faithful fan base, and a cool tailgating experience that's spread around the entire campus leads to a wonderful Saturday in the fall! If your favorite team makes the trip to Boone you'll be doing yourself a favor to take in the experience in Boone, NC!
