Kidstreet Playground

Decided to come here for a detour on a long route home from the Poconos. We packed a lunch and this was well worth the stop so much to do and my kids were absolutely exhausted by the time we left. Incredible playground.

Excellent place. Kids loved it. It's great if you go with kids of varying ages. There's something for everybody. Some "devices" are present in 2 version, for the little ones and a bigger / more difficult I've got older kids. (Climbing ropes, zip line etc.) The park has lot of trees which is great for sunny days.

So glad we decided to visit this playground!!! So many cool things for kiddos of ALL ages to enjoy. The playground was full but it didn't feel crowded - there were sections for different levels, activity engagement, and themes. They had lots of climbing structures (wall climbing, net structure, ropes, ladders), obstacle courses (Zipline, monkey bars, tire routes), slides, swings (tire swings, regular swings, and even a full platform swing with bench that the whole family can swing in together)! The younger kiddos had their own enclosed area with a sandpit and mini climbing structures they can safely enjoy. And in the larger play area, there was an amphitheater style seating that can provide you with a 360 view of the park. There are no food or drinks allowed because they want to keep the area clean (which is great!) but there are garbage cans and recycling receptacles outside the park. The different structures had names like (The Bank, Police Station, Theater, etc.). It's theme was a kid city. The bathrooms are outside but we didn't use them so I can't say if they were clean or not. The parking is limited right by the park but people were coming and going frequently enough that there was always one spot available. Our kids enjoyed their time. Definitely coming back again!

Wide area to play for kids. My kids enjoyed playing around. It has lot of play options like swing, boat structure, truck etc., also sand area with toys included. Most of the area is covered by trees, which looks nature and breeze even on sunny time. Food not allowed inside park. Restroom are ok (not properly maintained). Aware very few places wood sticks are out that may hurt the kids.

For the family!! A community donated park which is maintained by the bridgewater municipality. Has good obstacles. Ample parking. Has a restroom. Has a picnic grove. No pets tho. See images and videos for further reference.

A very nice large playground, fenced in! I like that it is next to a municipal building/police. Definitely gives me a sense of peace. So many fun things to do. A pretty big sandbox with some toys already here. Lots to climb, slide, rock, swing, run, crawl. Has a bathroom next to it And a bunch of picnic tables too. Guaranteed fun for all ages.

We check out a lot of playgrounds anywhere we go, well when you have two toddlers it's inevitable. This one was quite unique, many wood structures, spacious, inexpected features and reuses materials like tires. Kids had a blast. Mulch covered, best to come wearing covered shoes. Sandpit is fun, with communal toys to share. I was a bit skeptical about safety, but even my 2 year old was fine, the structures are kept well.

Nice natural playground. Very large so harder to keep track of two little ones but has a wide variety of unique structures that make it a lot of fun!

Very big playground and lots to do . Close to the mall and restaurants! Would definitely come Back when I am near the area !

While not exactly in the shape of Lincoln Logs, KidStreet Playground in Bridgewater very much carries the playful log cabin vibes and is a bit nostalgic for those that grew up around wooden structured playgrounds. KidStreet Playground is a must visit for this reason! Located no more than a stones throw from Bridgewater Commons (the mall), this playground sits in an ideal location. Needs to expend some time before the mall opens with the kids? The playround provides the perfect pastime for families throughtout the day. Compared to other playgrounds, KidStreet Playground offers large areas of shade (seasonal of course) over the actual play structures during the Summer which is perfect for parents and little ones to remain cool and avoid sunburn. The uniqueness of KidStreet Playground is truly found in the wooden builds of the structures. The overall appearance resembles a wooden fort with turrets scattered throughout. This comes as a refreshing change compared to a lot of other playgrounds with modernized metal bars and beams, allowing park-goers to really step out of the urbaness and concrete jungle and into a suburban wilderness. There are approximately 6 large structures with swings and small activities located around each of these structures. The structures are interconnected and woven together in a beautiful design that flows. There is a sand pit, as well as a few zip rides. Whoever designed this playground park definitely had the heart of a kid and kids in mind. The parking lot that's directly adjacent to the park is limited and tight, with about 15 spots, but any overflow can easily be solved by parking in the municipal building lot. There is a pinic area outside of the park, with about 5 picnic tables. This is also under ample shade. This park is a must visit, and your kids will love you for bringing them to this park!

This playground is awesome and totally worth the 25 minute drive. There is so much to explore so plan to spend some time with the kiddos. My daughter loved the sandpit and the ropes jump platform. Bring some snacks or picnic to make it a day trip.

It's a nice big playground though it can be a little crowded. My 3 year old loves the sandbox which has trucks, sand shovel, buckets inside for the kids to play with. There's something there for all age group. It's also just few minutes from the mall and almost right off the highway. I try to stop there every time we are in the area. One of the best playgrounds we have been to in Jersey.

Great old wooden playground! Starting to show its age but still highly entertaining for my little one

Amazing playground! Throwback wooden playground that are well-maintained, in addition to more modern blow-molded plastic and metal-framed structures. Zip lines, rock climbing, tire swings, slides, ladders, stairs, fireman poles, sandbox (clean!), and restrooms (!!!!). Ice cream man makes ~45 minute loop on Saturdays (he's no fool). Very active Pokémon GO gyms and spawns. Plenty of shade and seating for adults, and the majority of the playground is shaded as well.

A newly updated Tot Lot as of 5/28/2016 as well as an AMAZING space for kids in general. This large playground was designed with community fitness in mind. There is lots of seating and shade to cool off with. Plan on letting your little and/or big one(s) explore for a while. Bathrooms, sink, water fountain, and a drink vending machine are available in the front. Private parking lot by playground and extra parking at the municipal building across from the park. A definite must for playground lovers of all ages.

This is hands down the best playground I have ever seen. There is an area for older kids and a separate area for younger kids. There is a pirate ship with an extra wide slide, a pretend truck/car and numerous climbing gyms. My son did not want to leave. The sandpit is also incredible. It was very clean and very large. There is no food or drinks allowed inside. There was parking and there are picnic benches on the outside of the playground for eating or birthday parties. We absolutely love this place and cannot wait to come back. As it gets later in the day the parking may get taken up and you would have to park a little farther.

What an incredible park! They have everything from swings to giant pirate ships and zip lines. The multiple play areas were great for kids of all ages. My 9 and 7 year old could have played for hours. The park was also very clean. I can't wait to come here when it's not 30 degrees lol. Grab a burger at the local shake shack and let your kids have a blast here.

Well maintained, fun and cool playground. I took my kids, niece and nephew (1-9 years old) and they loved it.

Nice big park with a lot of areas to play! My only complaint would be that there is very limited parking. Although the parking spots are a standard size for obvious reasons, since it is a kids park, it would be awesome if the parking spots were a little oversized to accommodate getting kids out of car seats.

This playground is located directly behind the police station. It's pretty large and has a bathroom that is decent, most of the time. This playground is great! They have a huge pirate ship with a wide, fast slide, over a dozen other slides, tarzan rope swings, rope zip lines, a big, swinging tire net, tons of things to climb and explore, swings, including one big enough for the whole family, a huge sandbox and another raised one with a slide to exit it, wooden train, plane, stores, buildings, two stages, more. They even have vending machine and picnic tables right outside the fence. It is located in Slattery Park. The only downside to this place is that it's covered in wood chips. After a rain, lots of bugs come out and if you're a parent sitting down, you can get attacked by mosquitoes. It doesn't seem to affect the little ones cause they're running around so much.

Great but it's big and segmented so you have to keep a good eye out which is tough with multiple kids.

Good space, well maintained, with a variety of things to do. Wish there was a gated front entrance so you don't have to worry about the kids running out of the park. I have seen at least 10 kids in the park today, which is always a good sign! They run around the whole space. We will be back. A great find!

What a great find! We were in the area for a wedding and the kids needed a place to play beforehand. This is a wonderful playground and well kept. You can easily spend a few hours here. There's an area for the little kids and one for the bigger ones. The ziplines and tire swings were a great hit! Worth the drive!

Such a fun place to go for the day. Tons to do for kids of all ages. Picnic tables to so you can bring your lunch and dine when kids need a break. Highly recommend. One of the best kid's parks for sure! Also, lots of shade so great when summer months are boiling hot. Lots of trees so should keep the sun off you for a couple of hours!

Great park for kids! Can spend hours there and it's all free. There's a zip line, sand pit, big slides, swings... Reminds me of a big tree house. There's a lot of picnic table outside the park. There is a no dogs allowed in the park so I kept my dog in my bag but there was also a no food and drink rule but parents brought in their stuff. Bathrooms were very dirty and no soap so make sure you bring sanitizer. I would also suggest bringing a little first aid kit. I couldn't imagine these kids climbing these things and not getting splinters. Definitely will go back again before the summer.

The park is a great space to take all ages. Lots of space and things to do with a castle, boat and other spaces that let imaginations run alongside lots of climbing and swinging available.

Beautiful playground my kids loved it only problem was the toddler area was closed so the little ones had to play in the general playground no baby swings or sandbox but we made the most of it it was worth the trip my kids gave it 5

Best playground ever. It is so large that even if it is crowded you don't really notice.

Been here a bunch of times always a good crowd of friendly kids. Love how it has play areas for all ages. My favorite is the adult size slide in the boat and the rocking benches tucked away in the back. Great place to let your kids run around and enjoying some free time.

I live across the country and am in my mid-20's now but I still have very fond memories of spending hours at this park as a child.

This may be the best playground ever! We have been coming here with my now-6-year-old for the past few years, and it is his favorite by far. Huge wood play structures of castles and ships, tire swings, zip lines, climbing walls... It's a dream playground. The only negative I've experienced is lack of water fountains. There is a vending machine, but you're out of luck if you've come without change.

Bridgewater, NJ kids park a must see for locals with young ones... So I heard about this huge playground from a co-worker who used to take her kids their 20 years ago. It's called KidStreet Playground and is located on 700 Garreston Road, Bridgewater, NJ near the mall. When we got there around 2 PM yesterday, it was very crowded but this was expected with the beautiful 70° weather. The location was odd being next to a municipal building but the entire park was enclosed so there was no fear of kids running off. My older son (3.5 yrs) was joined by his older cousin (5.5 yrs) and it did not take long for the both of them to start running all over. The park was divided into various sections with ships, mini zip lines, tire swings, forts, etc. The two of them could have spent an entire day here if we let them. I would give this place a 9 of 10 rating. I am not giving it a 10 because there were a few climbing ladders and poles that seemed to be a bit dangerous for kids 2-4 years old. That being said, it is good to keep an eye on your kids if you bring them because it is a big place and seems like a free-for-all once you get in. I hope you get to check it out.

We are always looking for great parks to bring our son to (now 1.5 years old) and this one tops the list as far as playgrounds. There is a section for 2-5 year olds and it is great-they have a sand pit with toys, smaller rope zip line, a spinner seat, smaller wooden structures to play in, etc. The playground is extremely large and you can easily spend a lot of time here. Each structure has a different theme (e.g. bank, police station, canoe, truck, etc) and they are all wooden which we tend to prefer over the plastic and metal structures that are mostly prevalent in playgrounds. There are also swing sets, a rock climbing type area, slides, bathrooms, tire swings, tire ladders, rope/cargo tepee net type climbing thing, enclosed fencing around the entire playground, and plenty of shaded areas. It would be perfect if there was also a splash pad since the summers tend to be hot and humid but overall, this playground is a blast and is more unique than others in the surrounding areas.

This place rocks! What a unique and retro playground! Everything is made from tires and wood. Kids loved it, adults loved it as well :-)
