Kidwells House

Lovely little guest house, really quiet but not too far from town! Not far from the two main attractions as we saw it, Hereford Cathedral and the Hereford Cider Museum. Easy to get to on foot after going up by train. Parking is available additionally I believe.

Im surprised on Google maps that it is classed as a 4 star hotel. It is not a hotel just a parade of houses with rooms. There is no bar, restaurant or breakfast option just room only. Saying that my room was clean and bed was comfortable. To watch the TV you needed a pair of binoculars as it was so small. Location and parking is excellent

This property is well run and the rooms very clean. The property manager Ann is just lovely, very easy to communicate with and will go out of her way to make your stay just perfect.|Easy check in and checking out. Plenty of free parking. A small easy walk to all attractions and restaurants

Simple, decently price guest room. We booked a double room with its own facilities- no shared bathroom. And the host was friendly and professional. Basic toiletries were available with clean towels too. There are plenty of room for car park too - the cost of which was included into our rate.

Great location, room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Anne ensured the door entry codes were sent through ahead of my arrival. |Car parking was a great bonus, I was a little disappointed that breakfast is no longer available at Kidwells House.

I arrived at Kidwells House and unfortunately, my experience here was so bad that I wasn't able to stay. I had to make a last minute booking elsewhere and left about 10:30/11pm.||||There was a pretty unacceptable level of noise (walls paper thin and a group of lads having a party upstairs with thumping music, loud phone calls outside my room etc.). I waited for an hour and tried to find someone but the reception was shut. I also didn't feel very safe because the keys to the rooms were kept in lock boxes with very obvious combinations on the outside of the doors. As I was leaving, I was harassed by one of the men trying to talk to me.||||I communicated this with the host and asked for a refund. Not only did they refuse to give me a refund, but they also disclosed information on the protected characteristic of another guest staying in the room above me. This was not only irrelevant in this case, but also highly inappropriate, and I would never want a hotel to disclose my information to other guests, particularly personal information about a sensitive topic. I am pretty appalled to be honest, and as a female travelling alone, there is a serious issue with both safety and confidentiality here.||||If you're looking for a relaxed and easy stay with hosts who care about your wellbeing, my advice would be to save your money and go elsewhere!

It is a very nice guest house, at 10-15 minutes walking from the city centre. The building has 3 kinds of rooms, with shared bath room and with own bath room, superior and superior with balcony. I have booked a superior room. The bed was confortable. The bath room is very big. The parking place is enough for all cars of all guests.

Easy and without fuss, room only. Well made up daily unobtrusive staff. The place is well situated , short walk to various cafes etc.|I cannot think of anything else to say, the place was fine when we got there after a drive around Hereford. I hope thats enough charachters now ???
