Kieliszki na Hożej Wine Restaurant

Having in mind all the great reviews about restaurant,I’ve decided to check it by myself. The selection of wine is quite impressive,staff with knowledge about products and parings. However I expected more. The ambient of the place gave me the cold feeling that I’m not welcome. Food was okay however without love and good taste. Expected more after all these goods recommendations.

A mix of an upscale wine-bar and hipster-y restaurant - the food is stellar, the wine-list extensive, and the prices, up there. (For Warsaw, that is!) Mind you, the food really *is* exceptionally good, with flavor combinations that are just 10% away from normal (in a good/hipster-y kinda way). Stick with the "out of the way" stuff - venison, duck, boar, etc. and you can't go wrong. Seriously, the chef has their act together, with unexpected flavors that always work (oh that jasmine ice-cream!), and everything cooked impeccably (that pork! with the unctuous inside, and the deliciously fatty/crispy skin!). If you can, *go*!

Excellent food, excellent wine pairings, excellent service. Not exactly cheap, but well worth it. Reserving ahead of time Is definitely a good idea. So is eating here. If you don’t understand Polish, like me, you may appreciate knowing that the name of the restaurant translates as “Glasses on Hoza”, Hoza being the street the restaurant is on.

Do you see the pictures of dishes I've posted? Pretty amazing, right? High quality food, excellent staff, very fine dining. I'll go back there for sure.

Superb meal, very creative, fresh, seasonal ingredients and delicious. Great service and ambiance, can't recommend enough.

If you really care about the service and want to have the same level of service as in top restaurants in New York and London, don't second guess this restaurant! One of the best restaurants in Warsaw. In the best foodie part of Warsaw, great customer service. Range of the options can satisfy most customers with sophisticated needs and high standards. From starter to the main dish and dessert there's always something to surprise you with decoration and extra ingredients. The wine selection is exceptional! Make sure you have a reservation ahead of the time as they don't have that much space and it gets full easily!

Excellent food and service. But, take a good look at your bill; the place added a couple of cocktails that we didn't order. Also, we were told the tasting menu was 150 PLN, but ended as 160 each on the bill. Such a serious place like this should take care of not taking such additional and untold charge. It's not a matter of the money, but the perception of honesty. This being said, we had a fabulous culinary experience and we would gladly come here again!

The food the wine the depth of food and dessert was amazing. Excellent manager sommelier and service!

My girlfriend and I went in to have a drink after having had dinner elsewhere. Politely we asked whether we could sit at the bar for a drink. The bartender/waiter said that this was ok. When we received the menu I asked whether they served drinks and had Mezcal. The reply was an abrupt no. I then asked, again politely, "do you serve any drinks?", whereupon the bartender said "gin and tonic" in a very condescending tone as he looked away. At this point my impression was that he ignored us completely, which is interesting as he did not seem to be engaged in any other tasks. I do not know whether they serve good food or not and it is perfectly fine for a restaurant not to have drinks in their bar, but the manner we were treated is completely unacceptable. There are plenty of great places in the area, where staff is pleasent and pleased to enjoy their time with guests. Note that neither i nor my date was intoxicated, offensively dressed, used impolite language or in any manner were out for anything apart from having a good time.
