Kiez Kaffee Kraft

Heard great things about the banana bread here, can say it's definitely warranted! A little moist, very delicious, would come back just for that some time. The cappuccino and lemon cake were also solid. Not a huge amount of things to pick from, but just to stop by for a quick coffee with cake or a pastry it's a good nice spot.

In this location, probably one of the very few Cafés I would spend much time in. Coffee is excellent, as are the tea and cake selection. It's very busy, especially at weekends. You may need to wait, and it's very unlikely you will walk into a free table to sit down, buts definitely wprth it. At the front, it's laptop free, and they have about 12 seats or so, and it full virtually all the time. There is more space in another room just around the corner where they do allow laptops for a bit of work. Make sure you check that out as it's not too obvious, and you could look a little ridiculous waiting for a seat at the front for 10 mins when that room was virtually empty.....like we did! Highly recommended.

I will still give a 5 start because I loved coming to Kraft - Until they renovated the place and transformed the cozy, quiet space with soul into a corporate office kantine looking place with a lot less seating available. Of course, this is a personal taste thing. People, food, coffee is still great. Only the atmosphere is just upsetting now.

Awesome Capuccino and fresh croissant in this cozy corner! Perfect for an outdoor breakfast, indoor there’s not much space. Always full of people but the service is fast (self-service picking up at the counter). Must try!!

Nice atmosphere & great matcha latte. It was very hot today so I asked if they could make it iced, even though it wasn’t in the menu, and they did :) The hummus bowl & and the avocado & beetroot toast that we had were great as well.

Wow— people aren't kidding about that banana bread. It's the best I've ever had, and I've lived in Australia! But moreover the coffee here is consistently the best in the neighbourhood, and the staff are lovely.

The absolute jewels of the Kiez has had its heart ripped out by its recent renovation, leaving it feeling more like a train station cafe than a neighborhood hang-out. It'll be missed for its former glory as the most beautiful and peaceful place in Prenzlauer Berg...
