A nice itinerary when in Tenjin area. You need to take off shoes before entering - visitor slippers are provided. There is an audio visual room, a restaurant and a souvenir shop at the ground floor. The whole of second floor are rooms fashioned back to the meiji era. The toilet is located at the back - there are separate toilet slippers provided.

What a beautiful renovation. The entrance fee of 200 yen is a steal. Free for those 65 plus. The inside and outside are totally restored. Bonus us you can walk into the rooms. The english dubbed video is very well done and informative. Great location.

Interesting hall built in the European fashion. Recently refurbished it has a coffee shop and a "1900 clothes experience". Really one for an architecture interior buff but not expensive, at ¥200, so an interesting 30 mins or so.
