Kijów Cinema

Great interior, nice decorations, staff very polite. Felt like home. Another great thing was a level of sound. It was loud enough, but not exploading ears, like in some cinemas. Loved every minute being there.

The movie screen in small. Sound only comes from the fromt and not all around the room and it was also very quiet. No cup holders in the seats. Expected a normal cinema, this is clearly 50 years behind in time.

Very pleasant, regional cinema, reasonable prices, very popular among locals. No sound surround system might be an issue, the sound comes only from the front/screen and the seats are theatre-like - quite low and narrow

As a cinema it's not the best place. Chairs are not comfortable, popcorn is really bad. It's mostly place to visit out of the sentiment, or if you're visiting Kraków - to take a look at the part of the history because of a nice architecture. Great concerts though - Maleńczuk is awesome and plays here once a year.

Everytime I visit Krakow, I always go to Kino Kijow. Staff always kind to help me to choose a movie as I don’t speak Polish. The building itself is so beautiful. Also upstairs is a nice cafe.

Lovely theater. Pretty quaint. I was in theater 1 and it was pretty small. Didn't have the booming sound I come to associate with movie theaters, but I think I'm ok with that. It's more of a cozy spot rather than an amusement part-adjacent "experience" (like IMAX or whatever). I love the idea of a cafe in a theater, though I haven't utilized it personally. I'm an American visiting the city but I love movies. This theater was great in my experience.

Very good place for having a conference or an event. Nice bar with loads of drinks, nice chairs, wifi and very clean and modern toilets. They really do their best :)
