Very comfortable room, mosquito net, lovely bathroom, great view over the water-holes. Staff superb, friendly, and efficient. The coup de grace is of course the enormously long viewing gallery which abuts the restaurant and bar. Overlooking two water-holes, dining with a drink on hand has never been so pleasant. Many, many bats swooping and adding atmosphere - along with the lizards. We loved it. One night was nowhere near enough.

You can sip coffee or a cocktail and watch nearly any species of animal come and go from the water hole behind the lodge. The view is amazing and the animals abundant at all hours of the day and lights active for night viewing. This may be the BEST setting for a hotel I have ever experienced. The food was great and the staff excellent.

Stayed for one night as part of a safari the views from the hotel are stunning with 2 watering holes you can watch the animals while either having your meal|Or a drink, rooms are lovely shampoo and shower gel provided in the room as well as water and tea and coffee, we don’t had breakfast however, lunch and evening meal were both excellent.|The only downside of the hotel was the pool wasn’t very clean. Would definitely recommend this hotel

We stayed at this lodge for 4 nights, and what an absolute gem it is. Nothing prepares you for walking into the lounge area and looking out over the watering holes and that view. Truly one of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen.|The lodge itself is lovely, a spacious room and wonderful food, all with the backdrop of the Tsavo savannah. |Special thanks to Nancy, Priscilla and Daniel who made the stay even more special.|No doubt one day we will be back.

Wow! What a magical place this is. A stunning location with the most amazing view of the water hole. In the daytime saw buffalo, zebra, antelopes, warthogs, baboons. Night time viewing from the restaurant, bar and our room was incredible. Saw buffalo, hyenas, jackals, genet cat and a late night giraffe to name just a few. Food was great as were all of the staff. We sadly only stayed for 1 night but wished we'd had much longer.

We stayed here for the first night of our safari. It was a nice room, fairly basic. As it was low season, they didn't have a lot of guests (except for the ants on the dining table) Dinner was served by candle light, which meant we had to use our phone's torch to read the menu and see what we were eating.||What you can't fault is the proximity to the animals. With a watering hole outside the bedroom window and the open air access to the restaurant and bar. You are able to watch the passing animals very clearly.||Staff are very friendly and polite and nothing is too much trouble.

This was for the second night of our safari, this place was amazing, the watering hole was superb, viewing from the bar area, rooms were lovely, staff superb, food great, would return. Thank you to all the staff, nothing was too much trouble. Could have sat there for hours at the watering hole just watching the visitors.

Our driver brought us here from near Kimana gate of Amboseli park and it took about 3 hrs (included a 15 min stop at the Shitani Lava field which is on the route).||The lodge is a great place to stay and the highlight is the watering hole that has excellent viewing spots from the dining area and a slightly lowered sitting area. A lot of wildlife comes by the watering hole.||A few notes that may be helpful:|- saw tons of animals at the watering hole at 2pm. Not many at 6:30pm onwards.|- Free bottled water in room|- Food is all you can eat buffet at all meals. All drinks cost extra in the dining area (except help-yourself juice at breakfast, and coffee and tea at all meals).
