Kilenc Sárkány étterem (Nine Dragons Restaurant)

Before we decided to eat here, I wanted to try out Chinese food in Budapest. And it was not disappointing. The food was good and nice portion. The service was nice and fast. Fried rice was a big portion, and it's good for sharing. The noodle soup was tasty.

During my visit, I had the opportunity to sample a variety of dishes: The dandan noodle was flavorful, though a bit too soupy for my liking. Traditional dandan noodles are typically drier in texture, but the taste was still enjoyable. The spring rolls were a highlight, with a crispy exterior and delicious filling that left me wanting more. The Yangzhou fried rice was decent, albeit slightly oily. Despite this, it still satisfied my craving for a classic Chinese fried rice dish. One of the standout features of Nine Dragon Restaurant is its affordability. With a wide range of dishes at reasonable prices, it's a great option for those looking for a satisfying meal without breaking the bank. In total, including drinks and tips, my bill came to 8443 HUF, which I found to be very reasonable given the quality and quantity of food I received. Overall, Nine Dragon Restaurant offers a solid dining experience with delicious food at affordable prices. Whether you're craving classic Chinese dishes or looking to try something new, it's worth a visit for a taste of China in Budapest.

This place is very welcoming, calm and the environment is specific chinese. The aperitives were brought pretty fast. The food choices were pretty interesting. The food wasn't as interesting as i expected. Maybe because i am not used to it but it was flavourful. The plates are enormous. If you order by yourself, you will not be able to finish. If you eat here and you are a group of four i recommend you to order 2 PLATES. We ordered 3 plates (a group of 4 full grown people) and we hardly finished all the plates. The order came pretty fast. We couldn't finish the first plate because the other one was already prepared. The drinks were good. You can also drink traditional tea. The only thing i didn't like was kimchi. The flavour was too powerful and it had a lot of garlic which ruined a part of the flavour from the other plates. After we paid we got some fortune cookies which were sweet and we got some interesting messages that matched our personality. The waiters were friendly and fast. 10/10 I want to come again and try something new!

I absolutely recommend this restaurant! The food tastes amazing, and it is also prepared in what I could say record time! The waiters are very friendly and fast! The atmosphere is just lovely! The decorations are minimalistic but also very beautiful! And the bathrooms are extremely clean! I recommend this place to everyone! An easy 5 stars!

At first we were a bit overwhelmed by the huge menu, but the dishes were all delicious! We shared some of the different meat dishes with fried and steamed rice. Some spring rolls and dumplings and it was all delicious! The price for all of it was very decent! Drinks are very cheap and the service very fast. A nice restaurant for some Chinese food.

The best Chinese restaurant I ate since the last 10 years! Not the cheapest but they serve first quality food. I will come back.

A nice chinese restaurant with great selection on the menu. Prices vary between reasonable priced ones to insanely expensive ones. Choose wisely. We've been there on a Sunday afternoon and the place was pretty empty. Meal was excellent though nothing exceptional. On par with any decent Chinese restaurant in town that are made to order and not the stand-in-line-with-a-tray ones. Quite many asians showed up while we were there, so must be authentic. Heating was turned down and we were cold a bit, so rather visit in spring or summer.

Food was gorgeous and the fact that on entrance I saw that the place was full of Chinese guests reassured me as to the quality of the food. I had a sweet and sour breaded pork with garlic and my husband had duck breast. Both were consumed with a great enjoyment. The service can have the odd hiccup, but all in all an excellent experience.
