Kilimanjaro Safaris

If you come to Disney, be sure to visit Animal Kingdom and go on the Kilimanjaro Safaris. It’s an incredible tour that allows you to see so many beautiful animals up close. It’s a wonderful experience that kids and adults love. Everyone is eager to see the lion awake, which isn’t always easy to do, but if you go early in the morning, you’ll have a better chance.

Must be experienced multiple times by the whole family. It is about a 30 minute total ride once you get on from start to finish. Animals will be out at certain times of the day so go in the morning, in the early afternoon, and at the last ride if you have multiple days at the park. Always a very fun time with great guides. :)

Awesome safari, the drivers are knowledgeable, the reserve itself is a good size and there are plenty of cool animals to see. Especially right now where they have a 1 year old Elephant and a 3 month old giraffe. Definitely recommend going, morning or evening are the best times as the animals tend to hunker down for the heat and aren’t as active.

I love animals, and I absolutely loved this safari. You can see rhinos, a cheetah, an ostrich, giraffes, a hippopotamus, and other species that you obviously don't see in your everyday life. It's certainly a matter of luck, but having a good attitude helps. Sitting on the driver's side of the truck is the best option, since most of the animals are on that side, and you'll be able to observe them better. Contemplate nature with great respect and connect with the animals. It's incredible to visit this place, my favorite part of Animal Kingdom.

Best Safari ever! I felt like I was in the actual Kilimanjaro on an African safari ! Best way to see the animals of Africa and take a break from all the walking you will do. Did you know this animal area is roughly the size of the state of Delaware? You can’t even see the whole thing. Pro tip! Ask for the last row so you can get uninterrupted views of the animals behind you!

Amazing!!!!!! we actually booked our tickets specifically for this ride. Our family loves looking at all of the animals on property. It's always executed perfectly.

The Kilimanjaro Safaris Ride is entertaining and informative. We boarded a large truck, built to resemble something you might find on an African safari, and drove through a wildlife preserve. The driver narrated as we drove along pointing out the different animals and sights. A must see for large animals fans.

Had a great time with my mom! Best time to do this is between 8-10 because every time we've done it during those hours we have seen everything active! Attached are the photos!
