When I'm in Dublin, I inevitably head to Kilkenny Design Centre. It's definitely touristy, a tourist attraction, but it has a good selection of authentic Irish products from Beleek china to Waterford crystal to woolen items from Donegal and elsewhere. It's a nice place to buy a few gifts to bring home from a trip, a one-stop shopping destination. And prices are not particularly bad, and service is good.

The food hear is so tasty!! Had the full breakfast and I was pleased. Also so the lunch paid out so nicely. The service is fast and the environment is perfect, the staff were very friendly. Highly recommended. You must try thier Guinness cake, it was delicious!

I love Kilkenny Design stores. The Dublin store is the best, for sure. They have a great range of classy gifts to treat either yourself or someone else to whilst shopping in Dublin. A lot of the gift stores in Dublin are pretty samey, whereas Kilkenny Design does something different. It's a touch above whilst being affordable.

Very nice cozy Irish department store! You would love this place and make sure to find one of the stores and take a look before leaving Ireland! Amazing blankets, hats, and all sorts of clothing, home decors and so on that you wanna buy it all!!

Great shop for Irish made gifts. But cafe on first floor serves good coffee with a wicked view over the grounds of Trinity College and possibly the best brownie this side of the Atlantic.

Is the cafe under new management? Very poor service and food when I visited today, completely out of step with how it has been previously. Kilkenny Cafe was known for their scrambled eggs by those who frequent regularly but they were dry and tasteless today. The coffee service area has moved and the staff member had to leave me standing at the crowded till while she went to make my coffee, which then spilled all over the saucer while she was transferring it to me. The staff were also particularly abrupt and rude, having a very loud conversation when I arrived and leaving me standing at the hot food counter for a few minutes before the lady walked over and simply said 'Toast?' to me. I didn't even realize she was speaking to me initially. Sad to see the decline in standards.

I absolutely adore this shop, I’ve been visiting here and snagging products as often as I can. Their skincare is some of my favorite! It’s great to find options that have a more natural feel and scent. They also have lovely handbags, much from Orla Kiely, and so much more.

I came to Kilkenny Design with zero intentions of falling in love. And yet—bam! There it was. The most ridiculously beautiful orange mohair and cashmere blanket, just lounging on a shelf like it owned the place. I touched it once and knew: this was no ordinary blanket. This was a life decision. It's soft. Like dangerously soft. Like "cancel your plans and stay in with this blanket forever" soft. I wrapped it around myself and instantly became 34% more elegant and 89% more unwilling to leave the couch. The staff? Delightful. They didn’t even judge me when I whispered “you’re coming home with me” to a blanket in public. I would emotionally imprint on another textile here again.
