Kimmade Vietnamese Street Food

We had lunch dine-in. Three of us and were lucky we could get seats directly. The restaurant is small, with 5 tables, can accommodate approximately 12 guests. The food came fast. Good temperature and presentation. The Pho (chicken) was divine. The fresh rolls were yummy Fish sticks were delicious Sandwich with beef satay was perfect Tofu pancake was perfect I wanted to order more but yeah, we were only with three of us 😁 My sons enjoyed and finished the meals and love them, so do I. The service, a lady, was a friendly one. The menu is in English. You can take away too.

Second time coming here and the food tastes just as heavenly! the beef pho is irresistible and is a must-try dish there. The chicken lemongrass rice dish is also a tasty option if you’re not feeling soupy, but definitely don’t forgo the Vietnamese *iced* coffee with sweetened condescending milk because it ties up the entire meal perfectly

Absolutely speechless. They served me a dish with nuts and no where on the item description does it say it comes with nuts. I am allergic to nuts. I was told I would need to pay for 2 dishes because it was already prepared. That is the most idiotic and offensive thing I’ve ever heard. I was then reserved a new dish and the chicken was raw. I am disgusted. This restaurant is extremely negligent and dangerous

The food is amazing! Not many choices but the spring rolls are great and also the rice with chicken lemongrass. The price with 8,50 € for a main dish is more than fair. Big recommendation! Because it’s a very tiny restaurant, I’d recommend to do Take away.

Great lunch spot! Food’s tasty and well priced for how central this place is. I had to wait a while to be seated, on which seemed like a busy day, but got my food pretty fast once I was seated. Rice noodle salad with chicken lemongrass and (fresh) shrimp spring roll were my choices, would recommend.

Delicious and really fairly priced food. We had pho, spring rolls and Vietnamese iced coffee. Pho was really good. Spring rolls are also good but the "jacket" outside of the roll was a bit hard. Ice coffee was also good especially with condensed milk. We visited at around 13:40 and it was very busy, so the service was not perfect. However given the price was really fair, still nice place to visit for sure.

I'd recommend the "classic" Banh Mi. The food was delicious; I will definitely come back to try their other dishes. The prices are very fair and the restaurant's location is also convenient. Unfortunately they don't do reservations, only walk-ins. The food took some time to arrive (+-30 minutes), but I don't know if that's because we came 10 minutes after they opened. The place was also full.

The place quite small but the lady make a place for me and can put the baby carrier. Super good attitude and kindness. I order the pork roll and beef pho Super tasty and yummy 😋 just love it have a warm soup noodle in the cold winter day . Note : no reservations . Can order take away .

When you're touring out in Europe and you get the cravings for some asian soup or vietnamese, Kimmade will do you just fine. The portions aren't as big compared to the US, and the flavor is definitely lighter but it isn't as heavy, making it a replenishing meal. This is that good pick me up energy that's going to last you a couple hours of adventuring before you go eat again!!! I had some beef pho with spring rolls and a Vietnamese iced coffee to spark everything up. Soup was more sweeter than salty, I kind of liked this as it was different from what I normally have. Prices comparable to NY, LA so its not too bad coming from the big cities.

I were here with my boyfriend, and we agreed on, that Kimmade is the best vietnamese restaurant in Utrecht. It is a small restaurant, which makes it even more cozy and nice.

Was living in Utrecht for six months and was missing the Vietnamese food from back in Southern California. Although kimmade could not compare to the food back home, it was the closest I could have hoped to hommade vietnamese food. I have tried a variety of items here and they were all pretty good for the most part. l The restaurant is pretty small but the servers are nice and friendly and get the food out to you quick. I feel that Kimmade does a good job with serving Vietnamese food and overall, gotta support the local Vietnamese restauarant amirite?

After a holidays to Vietnam last summer, we really started to enjoy the Vietnamese cuisine!! While walking through Utrecht, we found this very small restaurant and decided to give it a try. The staff appears to be a young couple that started this restaurant and in their restaurant they provided quite some things we recognized from our holidays :) Initially, we were just looking for a coffee, and we ordered the traditional cafe sua da (not 100% sure about the spelling here... ;) ), which is a cold coffee with condensed milk. After trying the first sip, we were back in Vietnam right away :) While drinking the coffee, we took another look at the menu and decided we were going to try another thing. We chose the fresh spring roll with chicken and lemon grass and that turned out to be a very very good choice :) The place is very small and does not seat a lot of people (and the interior is not super fancy), but don't be fooled by that! If you go here, be prepared for some really authentic, great tasting Vietnamese food!

Great LEGIT take-out focused vietnamese place right by the train station in Utrecht. There are a couple tables inside, but it's pretty small. Food is simple but really good - focused on spring rolls, bahn mi's, noodles and pho. No frills, just cheap and good food. Wouldn't expect to find this gem in Utrecht.

Kimmade is an overall excellent place. Positives - Good customer service: nice and professional. - Food is amazing: great flavor and fresh, with some dishes you get the option to add herbs and hot peppers. - Waiting time: pretty good, -sometimes- it's a bit on the busy side. (Mediocre) Negatives - Interior/exterior: isn't all to special, just 6 tables in total, no special decorations, I'd suggest taking the food home/out. - Menu Card: it's a great menu card, but they never change it, if they would (from time to time) change it. That would be a great improvement. Food recommendations - Ban Xeo (Vietnamese pancakes) chicken, beef, and vegetarian are all always great, lovely taste, I would definitely add the given sause, to add a bit of shawow to the dish. - Pho (noodles) chicken, and vegetarian are both really good, you also have beef but I personally prefer the chicken and vegetarian out of the 3, I absolutely love this dish as maybe a starter or just as snack, but I always order this dish: always. Specialty ~ Bubble tea, I don't see this very often in Utrecht/the neighborhood, I love how it's not over the top sweet, I always take the mango with mixed jelly. Conclusion: - Amazing food, great service, okay to mediocre waiting time, and not so good in- and exterior.

Tiny restaurant, but good flavor. I just want some warm thing and ordered noodle soup. It is a simple dish, but satisfactory enough.

Super cute little Vietnamese joint in the heart of Utrecht! And when I mean little... I really do mean it. The restaurant is extremely small, so try going when it's not peak lunch or dinner time. While studying abroad in Utrecht for six months, I really really missed Asian food. Kimmade filled that void for me and I'm glad I discovered the food here! I always ordered the rolls here and they always tasted awesome. The portions were a little small for me... but I think that may be because I'm American and I'm probably use to bigger portions. I also ordered the boba here and I can definitely say I've tasted better boba drinks in my life. I got the lychee green tea and it tasted a little watery and the boba wasn't anything to rave about. However, this could also be due to cultural differences since my taste buds might be accustomed to American standards and sugar hahah. Anyways, I love this place! Make sure to come here if you're visiting and you're craving Asian food :)

Spicy beef with rice is quite good. Very juicy and comes with a generous amount of sauce over the bokchoy, meat, and cucumbers. It's enough to eat with the rice. We sat next to the canal. It was a beautiful night and good service.

I love the ice coffee and noodle soup, spring roll is okay yet it's totally worth it, most traditional so far ^_^

The place always looks crowded, which I guess is a good sign. The chicken noodle salad had tasty and fresh ingredients and for a good price.

Excellent - worth the wait. Only 4 tables inside for two, and four spots at the bar, but worth it. Good pho and good rice dish; friend got Bon mi, loved it. Salad great. Do it; don't look back. Your stomach will thank you

Excellent Vietnamese food place ! The Street Food location at Mariapstraat is ideal for a quick lunch / dinner or takeaway meal. Affordable and consistency brings me to this place almost every week!

5 stars for supporting the banh mi movement. Owners focus on authentic Vietnamese street food and does not underestimate the adventurous palate of the Dutch. Lemongrass chicken and honey pork? If they had a shop in Amsterdam i would go here every day.

Awesome pho, terrific xhuan xho and great ban mi. If the place don't look awesome from the outside, don't get fooled and give it a shot.

The food is of great quality, authentic, and extremely tasty. The small extras, such as bubble tea and Vietnamese coffee, are a wonderful addition. The restaurant itself is quite small and can get a little crowded, but it's also very cozy and it's fun to sit at the bar, look into the kitchen, and chat with the staff. My only critique is that a lot of the dishes are quite small, you will probably have to order a second dish or an appetizer. It means trying more, but can also make the meal more expensive than anticipated.

Nice little Vietnamese joint in a central location. Food is affordable and tasty. The place is pretty small and always packed, they have outdoor seating and a counter. I liked the spring rolls and pho! Great take out.
