We booked this hotel months in advance, excited for a much-anticipated family vacation flying in all the way from Texas. Upon arrival, we were shocked and disappointed to be told that the hotel had overbooked and had no room for us, despite our confirmed reservation for a two-bedroom unit.
There was no prior notice, no apology, and absolutely no accountability. What should have been a relaxing getaway turned into a stressful scramble to find alternate accommodations. The lack of professionalism was appalling—we requested to speak with a manager multiple times, but not once did anyone have the decency to show up or address the situation directly. It felt like they simply wanted us to disappear.
This is a gorgeous resort, but it is terribly mismanaged. The experience was so unpleasant that it overshadowed everything we had looked forward to: the amenities, the food, the time with family and friends.
Buyers beware: if you choose to book here, I strongly recommend calling a day before your arrival to confirm that your room still exists—because a confirmation email apparently means nothing.
We will not be coming back.
