Kimpton Frankfurt - SilverKris

"Situated among steel-clad towering skyscrapers in the heart of Frankfurt’s financial district, this 155-room boutique hotel feels thoughtful, inviting and undeniably quirky from the moment you walk into its lobby. A bold mix of Bauhaus and Art Deco design appears in low-slung sculptural seating and woven wall art, and while it’s set in the business district, it’s far from a standard business hotel. Rooms are plush, comfortable and well-equipped, with a “You forgot it? We got it!” programme on hand if you’re missing any essentials. In keeping with other Kimpton properties, stays come with surprise perks and signature touches such as in-room yoga mats, complimentary bikes for city exploration and a daily social hour where guests mingle over drinks and conversation. The entire property is pet-friendly and its location just steps from Frankfurt Central Station and a short hop from the city’s main attractions makes it incredibly accessible. Breakfast is served with skyline views at the rooftop restaurant Lazuli, and there’s also Anni, the hotel’s contemporary European brasserie-style restaurant." - Alethea Tan

I had a truly amazing stay at Kimpton Frankfurt! The hotel is brand new and stylishly designed with great attention to detail. In terms of the vibe it resembles more a smaller-scale design hotel, rather a big international chain, which was definitely a pleasant surprise. The breakfast offering was plentiful and of good quality. What I liked is that the restaurant is located on the top floor and features an outdoor terrace, boasting nice views of the city. A very cool feature was the so-called “social hour” when guests are offered complementary drinks at the lobby bar. What made my stay especially enjoyable was the amazing team of the hotel. Everyone, from the reception to the bar and breakfast room staff was very friendly and helpful, creating a truly welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely be back next time I’m in Frankfurt!

You can’t go wrong if you book this. Seriously. Where to start? The rooms are dazzling. Cherrywood night desks, textured carpet, leather finishings on the desk, a bed that feels like heaven, a bathroom like a dream. The color concept is really amazing and whatever filters were used on the pictures do it no justice at all. Everything is brand new: smell the wood from the walls when you exit the elevator on your floor, for example. Breakfast has a high-quality selection (albeit not the most extensive) with some à-la-carte options. The service? Well, you mention you’d like to make a dinner reservation at their AMAZING restaurant – they’ll call you to ask at what restaurant and when even before you arrive. When you leave, they’ll hand you water for the trip. Everything in between is flawless. No hectic manners, no dull interaction. You feel with certainty that your being a guest matters. This is true for each and every person we interacted with on site or over the phone. There are many boutique hotels and many 5 star hotels, but not very many WOW-jaw-drop hotels that offer such a genuine, truly memorable experience as this one. Go and see for yourself.

I would like to give this hotel a 4.5 rather than a four, but that is not a possibility here. The staff were wonderful. The room was great. The breakfast was delicious. The gym was very nice. We appreciate it almost everything about this hotel. However, the restaurant for dinner ANNI is very expensive which we actually don’t mind except we expect very high-quality food for a dinner that is $175 for two people with one drink and no dessert and just a salad for an appetizer. The culinary abilities of the kitchen staff may not be up to the price. They are charging in the restaurant. Other than that our day was amazing and we want to thank the reception staff

Every employee we interacted with at this hotel, rates a 15 on a scale of 1-10. From the female bar tender from Iran, who touched us with her kindness, to the people who staff the morning outstanding breakfast…all were outstanding and great. All spoke English and were never condescending, just helpful. Of particular assistance with a smile are the two blonde ladies who work the morning buffet. One, I don’t remember the name of, but Carmen I do. I would love to hire them both, if I were an employer. Carmen in particular brightened our days while we were there….but EVERYBODY was superlative. The front desk manager should be commended for having a staff that helped me at every juncture. They accepted packages for me, and never lost them. Again, the breakfast stood out for the quality of the food…the bacon, the cheeses, the yogurt, croissants were all top quality. They had salmon, sardines, myriad of cheeses, à chef to make omelets…I miss them! The location is great, and not quite a block to the Christmas markets. The beds were extremely comfy and the arm chairs were à welcome sight. The restaurant was very good, and the staff there also exceptional. I wish this was the norm everywhere!

Our stay at the hotel was absolutely exceptional! The facilities were in perfect condition, the rooms spotlessly clean, and the overall atmosphere warm and welcoming. The staff were always friendly, attentive, and ready to assist with anything we needed. I’d like to make a special mention of Juyong, who truly stood out. His professionalism, kindness, and outstanding service made us feel completely at home. Thanks to him, our experience was elevated to an entirely new level. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for top-quality hospitality and excellent service. We will definitely be returning!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the hotel, it was close to everything and Christmas market is 2 minutes walk away. Amazing staff and comfy beautiful rooms. Their restaurant Lazul was fantastic, they had a new menu highly recommended so was breakfast in room. Special thanks to the bar people we met, Teo and Dominik, they were absolutely nice to us and great service too. Thank you to Juyong as well on check out 🥰

We stayed here only for one night but the staff were so kind and welcoming. From the front reception desk, to the breakfast staff, to social hour team….everything was wonderful. We loved our room. It was cute and sophisticated and comfortable. I’m picky about pillows and these were excellent. Location was great to walk around and see all the sites in Frankfurt.

Great new hotel in the center of Frankfurt. Location is excellent. Quiet, on a side street. Easy walking distance to shopping, U/SBahn lines, restaurants, etc. 30 minute taxi from FRA. Rooms are smallish, bur well extremely well appointed with comfortable beds, nepresso coffee machine, excellent toiletries (cray-on), really neat faucet handles. Front desk service is typical Kimpton with the happy hour as well.
