Both the food and the service was good! I bought the rare beef pho, and it came out quick. The portion size was huge, it took me ~40 minutes to eat all of it. All the broth, beef, and noodles were delicious. The atmosphere isn't anything extraordinary, but generally it was a peaceful place to eat.

The worst Asian food I’ve ever had in my entire life. I spent an arm and a leg and ordered a seafood bowl and egg drop soup. When I went home to eat it, I almost cried. The soup tasted like straight up grease, and the meat was so dry and flavorless I had to throw the whole thing away after a few bites. I thought this place would be better because it’s run by an Asian family, but no. They make their food for white people. I should’ve known better than to try Asian food from Boulder. I felt insulted that they would even serve this to me. This is an insult to Asian cuisine and I will never eat Asian food in Boulder ever again.

Best bánh mì in Boulder no doubt; get the grilled pork. Bread is light and fluffy with a good chew(but not too much), pork is perfectly browned and seasoned with Vietnamese spices, and it has the perfect ratio of pickled vegetables and cilantro to meat and bread. $1 more than Scrooge but 2x as better and also bigger.

Used to go to the previous location and always ordered the shrimp fried rice and I never had an issue. Today I got the usual but this time It came with only 5 shrimp and not so fried rice! The taste was bland and uninspired. After 2 bites I kindly gave them back the food and let them keep the $13.50 I was charged. All good things come to an end.🥺

Best family owned and operated Vietnamese restaurant in boulder! They have moved locations but are still on the hill! I Love coming to this beautiful new location! Been a loyal customer to kims for almost a decade and they never disappoint! If you're looking for a local authentic Vietnamese food you hit the jackpot!

I obliterated this meal. Workers are actually Vietnamese and so kind. Lady at the front desk had conversation and took care and time into preparing the food. It’s close to campus so if you’re on you’re way back from class, try this place out!

My favorite Asian place in Boulder! This is my go-to when I need a good, well-priced meal. Everyone who works there is so nice and welcoming, and everything I’ve had so far is great (the pad Thai is my favorite, but the chicken entrees are also very good).

Kim's is so dang good. For Boulder the prices are reasonable, you could leave happily with enough food for two or three meals spending less that 15 dollars with tip if you order smart. Not to mention that this is a family owned business in Boulder, on the hill. In an area surrounded by chains, bars, and plenty of other options being able to support local owned small businesses is a treat in itself. The inside is cozy and quaint, the service is amazing, and the owners are some of the nicest people you will meet. The food is great as well. I like the simple fried rice with some kind of meat, and I usually opt for an egg roll, or dumplings if I want one/them. Kim's is open 7 days a week, and is some of the best food I've had in Boulder. Can't recommend it enough for anyone on or around the hill!
