I have been here quite a few times already and they NEVER disappoint. The taiyaki's are 3/$5. Flavors are: Red Bean, Custard and Veggie. I usually get 2 of each. The pancakes are delicious as well, but also a little bit greasier.
Cute little stand by the parking lot, with absolutely the nicest people that make them. There's a lot of turnaround, so it's always so fresh.

It is a food truck. I ordered two fish waffles (red bean & custard) and they are freshly made. The owner told me that the heads up one is custard, which is a good idea to differentiate. The flavour is good and the price is extremely affordable. I recommend the custard flavour.

When I tried the sweet red bean waffle here before, it had very little red bean filling. I decided to give it another chance, hoping it would be better this time, But it had almost no red bean filling, and the dough was so insufficient that when I took a bite, the inside was completely hollow.
I don’t think I’ll be coming back again.

Good Korean taiyaki located in Korea town on the Coquitlam Burnaby border. When it comes to a choice over the sweet bean or Bavarian cream filling, I’d always choose the Bavarian cream taiyaki. I’ve also had their pancakes before they’re also quite good. Very hot and fresh and the prices are quite reasonable.

It's like I am back in Korea! Delicious waffles. If I lived close I would go everyday. The texture of the waffle part is chewy and soft. The filling inside is not too sweet and tastes perfect!

Find this little cart just to the left of Han Nam Supermarket under the concrete stairs.
Amazing taiyaki that are so fresh hot and delicious! I tried the custard and the veggie and they were both awesome.
4 taiyaki for $5 - such a deal!
Service was super nice and let me know it was a 7 min wait for them to be made.
Warmed the leftovers in the oven and they were just as good that evening.

Another first…and happy we came to this outdoor food stand to try the delicious sweet pancakes or hotteok and the fish-shaped custard waffles or bungeoppang. There is also a savoury pancake and two other waffle flavours (red bean and vegetable), but I look forward to those for another time. We waited around 15 minutes, but they came to us piping hot and yummy! These Korean dessert treats truly reminded me of Seoul.

Here is Korean stall specialized in Korean waffles and pancakes.
The prices are decent and cheap. 6 pancakes for $10 and 5 waffles (fish looking) for $5. There are two flavours for the pancakes: red bean and vegetables. For waffles, there are three flavours: red bean, custard, and vegetables.
I recommend both waffles and pancakes; however, I recommend not buying the custard cream. The cream is not as good as I thought it would be good but it is not.
I must warn you that weekends at certain times they are busy. It could be 15-20 minute wait for the food. Bring cash as it is only cash no credit cards or debit cards.
